Recently I was invited to dinner where all guests had to wear white. I spiced up this non-color dress code with some gold touches as you can see. It is a great way to follow the rules while still adding some excitement to your outfit.
My look: Nomi lace jumpsuit by Temperley London, silk belt by Chloé, leather T-strap sandals with pearls by Gucci, Monogram fringed shoulder bag by Saint Laurent, earrings by Chanel, sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier.

Sorry for yesterday’s lack of posting. Unfortunately, my blog got hacked again and was down for over 24 hours. But today is a new day and I would like to show you this great object that elevates every desk to a stylish interior piece. Louis Vuitton presents a table clock, version of the Escale Time Zone watch introduced in 2015 (see photo below).

A contemporary interpretation of globetrotters’ timepieces, this steel and rosewood timepiece allows you to view the time in all 24 time zones in a new and different, totally intuitive manner. This table clock also offers a new take on the GMT function and timepiece movements dedicated to modern-day explorations.
Quartz movement
Functions: 24 time zones
65 mm in diameter
Stainless steel and Rosewood with a sphere of mineral glass
Dial with disc painted with hand-crafted transfers (6 colours)
Price €950
In stores from October 2016.

Absolutely trending this F/W 2016 season is wrapping a silk scarf around the handle as seen on the Louis Vuitton runway or to tie a ribbon around it as Alessandro Michele did at Gucci.

I decorated my So Black Kelly bag recently with a 90 x 90cm silk scarf by Hermès. Stay tuned, the complete look will be coming up tomorrow.
Before starting to wrap it around the handle, it is important to fold the base very precisely:

The easier way is to use a Twilly, another a silk design by Hermès that is specifically used for that purpose (although it’s also used for other things like your wrist). It is thin and an easy way to customize your bag.

The ribbon effect: Sylvie mini buckle leather shoulder bag
by Gucci.
Have fun decorating your bag!

More is more, this is what the F/W 2016 season is all about! With fashion in a maximalist mood, accessories have taken center stage. On the runways, heels were high, the bijoux was stacked and layered, and the bags were furrier or came with accessories of their own. The forecast: Get ready for your most sumptuous season yet.

Pairing two mismatched earrings (such as the ones by Louis Vuitton above) might sound like another frightening fashion trend, but it’s actually the name of the game this season and definitely not as complicated as it looks. Pulling off this look is all about having fun and creating unexpected silhouettes that can instantly update your look. Many designers offer now some trend-proof possibilities. Enjoy shopping those eye-catching must-haves.

Louis Vuitton looked also to Hawaii for inspiration (see yesterday’s post here about this summer’s trend ). The «Tropical Journey» capsule collection takes a trip to paradise and comes back with lush nature-inspired prints that are available across the Houses’s iconic models such as Speedy or Neverfull but also on accessories or shoes. Have fun exploring them all below.

As you know I am traveling constantly and mostly go on short trips. I light to travel light and take in general only hand luggage with me. That means you have to be smart when it comes to packing (You can find a great guide how to stuff your suitcase that I shot with Louis Vuitton here).

The biggest problem is that you are not allowed to take large amount of liquids. There fore I love NET-A-PORTER‘s TRAVEL KIT that includes 12 products from their skincare, haircare, nail and makeup department. Including everything from a rejuvenating face mask to glamorous lipstick, this elegant selection is conveniently travel-sized and also luxurious way to discover new products.
Includes: Jurlique‘s Rosewater Balancing Mist, Mio‘s Clean Slate Wipes, Leonor Greyl‘s Nourishing Shampoo, Deborah Lippmann‘s Cuticle Oil, Lipstick Queen‘s Invisible Lip Liner, Hourglass‘ Icon Liquid Lipstick, Erno Laszlo‘s White Marble Radiance Emulsion, Erno Laszlo‘s Treatment Bar, Chantecaille‘s Bio Lifting Cream, LashFood‘s Conditioning Drama Mascara, Roloxin™ Lift‘s Revitalizing Facial Treatment and Christophe Robin‘s Hair Regenerating Mask.

Happy Easter to all of you! I adore playing around with pieces in my closet to match the theme of the day. This bunny ear headpiece and the printed bag are certainly interesting ones to have. Especially the latter from Prada’s Resort 2016 collection, it’s bunnies all over again, with a contrasting design element in the form of red arrows.
My look: Suzu wool-blend crepe dress by Roksanda, Palladium-tone, crystal and Plexiglas® necklace by Miu Miu, Horsebit-detailed suede knee boots by Gucci, Inside bag with bunnies and arrows by Prada, bracelet by Chanel, Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ring
by Gucci Fine Jewellery, and bunny ear headpiece by Louis Vuitton.

«It’s all about the jacket! The jacket is a parka, a caban and a hoodie, always a blazer, it’s a suit, it could be a vest, a débardeur, a qipao and a redingote, a dress and even a gown.» – Albert Kriemler
AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!
Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.
My look: Brighton grey kalgan lamb cropped jacket
, Valentin grey leather vest and thin grey sweater, all by Akris, Lady Buckle light olive green leather top handle bag
and olive green leather leggings, both by Gucci, Paris laced ankle boots in earth suede
by Saint Laurent, sunglasses by Céline, colorful bracelet by Louis Vuitton and clip on cuff earrings by Dior.
