Creative director Demna Gvasalia‘s collections continue to uphold the vision, influence and radical style of the House and even the eyewear makes a serious statement.

Elevate you summer look with the BB0157S sunglasses preferably in silver (they are also available in black). Featuring an oversized acetate frame with a tinted finish to the lenses and the classic Balenciaga logo at the side, they might not be suitable for all face shapes, but who cares?!

Furthering an ever-evolving narrative, the House presents Gucci Blondie – a line of handbags that draws inspiration from an archival style defined by a rounded rendition of the signature Interlocking G, as seen in patent documents from 1971. The emblem takes center stage on the collection’s distinctive silhouette, as Alessandro Michele continues to traverse time, gently drawing out the threads of storylines waiting patiently to be found and given a new voice.
The Gucci Blondie, which first debuted within the Love Parade fashion show in Los Angeles, reflects the Creative Director’s ability to effortlessly bridge eras through his creations. This temporal resilience is reflective of an essence that is both chameleonic and charismatic, a combination that allows the line, like many others of the House, to remain contemporary, no matter the year. The modern-day iteration is a stylistic progression of the original, infused with striking details that speak to a free-spirited and independent persona.

The Gucci Blondie offering spans sizes, silhouettes, and details, from a versatile messenger that can be worn on the shoulder or across the body with the included Web or leather straps, to a smaller day-to-night style whose included chain strap can be tucked inside to transform it into a clutch. A miniature version, also featuring interchangeable and adjustable leather and Web straps, rounds out the selection. Designs are available in leather, suede, and GG canvas, with a varied palette for both the bags and the Web straps.

The Gucci Blondie is presented through a new campaign, envisioned as a love letter to New York, as a cast of characters are captured against the backdrop of some of the city’s most celebrated landmarks. Reportage-style shots evocative of an analog age are filled with candor and spontaneity, portraying impromptu moments of heritage in motion and dynamically converging past, present, and future in every frame.

In the spirit of the S/S 2022 show, CHANEL reinterprets a sunglasses frame symbolic of the 1990s: the shield, available this season in two graphic versions with masculine/feminine accents. These designs come in black acetate or two-tone black and white, navy blue and fuchsia or emerald green. Each one is adorned with wide temples, enhanced by quilting punctuated with mini double Cs or an oversize double C. All details that render these sunglasses a veritable fashion accessory.

«Charms» also feature on a line of sunglasses. Whether worn singular or as a trio, a camellia, pearl, heart and hexagon inspired by the stopper of the CHANEL N°5 perfume bottle adorn the temples like a playful signature. Three pairs of sunglasses make up this line: graphic butterfly, cat eye and oversized square. All adopt the classic colours of black, tortoiseshell, navy and burgundy.

A third line includes four pairs of sunglasses in oval, rectangular, aviator and shield shapes in black and burgundy, brown khaki or deep green acetate imbued with a subtle sparkle. Two double Cs combining strass and metal are overlaid on the temples of the oval and rectangular designs, while the temples of the aviator and shield designs feature a single double C in metal, set on a square of micro-strass.

A variation on the metal glasses completes the collection. Devoted to the theme of light, they focus on delicate lines of strass: one covers the bridge of an aviator, available in two sizes; another surrounds the lenses of a graphic square or rounded frame.

These glasses will be available in boutiques from March, and from April for the frames embellished with charms.

Exuding the energy of a California spring, the Spring in the City collection delivers the perfect seasonal wardrobe, from city break to coastal getaway.

Adopting a colour gradient inspired by the vibrant palette of a spring sunrise, the new pieces feature Monogram-printed silk and Damier Graphite-printed denim. The collection is ideally complemented by Monogram Flower Louisette earrings. Guided by freedom and comfort, Louis Vuitton’s emblematic designs exude a sunny California glow. Iconic pieces such as the Papillon, Petit Sac Plat and Onthego bags dazzle in the collection, updated with a glossy 3D effect. The designs are dressed in shades of warm beige, powder pink and blush, colours reminiscent of a leisurely day at the beach.

From deserts to lush gardens, t-shirts printed with palm trees contrast with the collection’s high-waisted cargo pants and safari shorts, while raffia and embossed leather are a call to sit back and unwind. Like a second skin, the ultra-lightweight gradient nylon jacket complements the collection’s beachy silhouettes and warm sandy tones.

The designs, with their delicate yet striking colours and graphic lines, herald a radiant spring. Bright, urban and sunny, the collection is an invitation to a spring escape.
