It was fall’s most amazing fashion event, when Vogue Fashion Night took over the most prestigious streets of the big metropoles for a unique shopping experience. CHANEL has been launching new collections to celebrate this fabulous night since its beginning. Do you remember when the nail hype in 2009 started with the mint-green shade Jade, followed by Les Khakis de Chanel (2010) Les Jeans de Chanel (2011), Les Twin-Sets de Chanel (2012), all launched at Fashion’s Night Out.

This year, the CHANEL Creative Makeup Studio designed the NUIT MAGIQUE collection, a nail colour trio which expresses the richness and depth of dark or shimmering fabrics as seen on the F/W 2013 runway. Eyes dress up with a simple line of scintillating eyeliner, the everyday version of the sequins worn by the runway models at the base of their lashes at the last fashion show.

As promised, here is the detailed post about my outfit that I wore to the amazing event in Munich with Karl Lagerfeld this week. I got really spoilt. In my lovely room at the Louis Hotel, some gorgeous gifts waited for me and I am all excited to have a limited edition couture dress by Mr Lagerfeld in my closet now.

My look: Beaded organza dress by Karl Lagerfeld Couture, quilted leather bag (also available in black) by Karl Lagerfeld, coral shape heels by Chanel, earrings by Christian Dior, Limelight Gala watch and diamond rose ring, both by Piaget.

One year ago, CHANEL COCO NOIR was launched, a beautiful modern and luminous oriental scent. Finally in addition to the 50ml and 100ml sizes, the Eau de Parfum will be available in a compact 35 ml flacon that can be slipped into your handbag. Fans of the sensual fragrance appreciate its seductive blend of bergamot, rose, geranium rose leaf, patchouli and tonka bean notes. To complete the range, luxury body care products featuring the scent will also be added in the end of this month. It is the perfect way to prolong the trail of scent on the skin – a bath ritual to indulge in for special moments where time stands still.

Yesterday, I went to the Rive Gauche Summer Party at the Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich. It was a cabaret theme party and guests were entertained by astonishing shows and live acts.

Launched in 2011, the Boy CHANEL bag has become an recognizable House creation and its status as such, is set to last. For the CHANEL F/W 2013 collection Karl Lagerfeld has reinterpreted its design with a resolutely modern and supple version.

Quilted or smooth, the flap is animated by a graphic contrasting effect with an overstitched or quilted braiding. Forever faithful to its codes, the chain strap and the Boy lock, the handbag is available in four sizes from a mini version to a maxi bag.

In shades of black, pearl grey and white, there’s a distinct contrast with the deep nuances of brick red, lead green and bright petrol blue.

In addition to the smooth or patent calfskin and the exotic alligator and python skins, it also exists in two aged goatskins, one iridescent and the other with graduated shading.

Another variation has a smooth leather or tweed flap and comes with four different sized link chains, emphasising the Boy CHANEL’s definitive rock’n’roll allure.

I love this Boy and need it in my closet. My object of desire for F/W 2013, perfect to complement my edgy and punk-inspired looks for the next season.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Hugo Boss has launched an interesting art project with an exhibition at London’s Saatchi Gallery, that will run through September 2013, under the name “Red Never Follows” that showcases different art works by 20 international creatives, inspired by HUGO. To highlight the German brand’s history, the word “Follows” on the key visuals is spelled as “Fol20ws,” and Berlin based artist Steffen Seeger has painted the one line drawing, that stands for the house’s last 20 years.

Last night, he was in Zurich for an interactive art show at the store on Bahnhofstrasse. It was a pleasure to meet Steffen and I was very excited to get my own art work done by him. We partied on the shop’s terrace, while enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

My look: Two-tone stretch-jersey contour dress by Stella McCartney, coral shape heels and patchwork bag, both by Chanel, bracelet by Hermès.

In addition to the exhibition, the brand has launched a line of 20 celebratory fashion items that are  available online and in store.

Gosh, it feels so good to be back in Zurich and to dress up again. One week in Iceland with no makeup and fancy clothes has been enough for me. Now, I am ready to bring back some glamour into my life! For a start, I had a fabulous girls’ lunch yesterday in the city…

This is the most stylish I got in Iceland. First of all, it was freezing cold (Thank God, I brought this padded gilet with me!), second of all, I have never felt the urge to dress up or put on make-up. Everything is just laid back and very relaxing.
