Sometimes it just needs one statement piece to draw all the attention to your outfit. But wait, a statement piece….? What is the statement? Here, it is the sequined Playboy bunny on the back of the hoodie that I wore last weekend on my flight to London for Fashion Week. Looking all innocent and casual at first sight, it unveils this fun message when you turn around. The only question left is what is the statement that the wearer is trying to make…? This you have to figure out yourself… mine will stay a statement secret.
My look: Cropped hoodie with zipper and sequined Playboy bunny
by Marc Jacobs, snake-print cotton tank
by Stella McCartney, skinny mid-rise distressed jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, Bamboo leather tote
by Gucci, white and black leopard calf hair bootie by Rodarte, diamond ring and bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Here is the look I wore to the launch party for Chloé‘s new fragrance LOVE STORY over the rooftops of Paris last month. I went for a vintage Chloé look with lots of different accessories from the French Maison. The brand is known for its nonchalant and timeless allure.
My look: Mint green collarless jacket by Marni, cream white dress, sautoir, earrings, statement necklace, chunky bracelet and leather bracelet, shoes and golden clutch with bow, all by Chloé, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis.

Sometimes it is time for a fresh perspective on the contents of our closets. The summer 2014 had lots of trends to choose from, like crop tops, cutouts, and transparent pieces among other highlights. If you’re anything like me, you may already be more than happy to kiss some of those looks goodbye, but there are plenty, too, that you might be excited to wear during the upcoming season.
My look: Denim vest
and wide belt, both by Saint Laurent, leather and wool top by Gucci, Altea crepe and silk-organza skirt
by Stella McCartney, embellished textured-leather sandals
by Valentino, fringed tote by Lanvin, gold-plated multi-strand necklace by Etro, ladder gold-tone chain bracelet

On Wednesday, I had a busy afternoon. First I went to Marionnaud‘s press conference to explore the house’s newest beauty brand BE CREATIVE MAKEUP, followed by a fashion show with Montblanc for the 6th edition of MODE SUISSE inside Zurich’s Lichthof.
This week has been perfect, many amazing things have happened and I am extremely happy. That might have been the reason for the pink splash of color I added to this elegant outfit giving it a joyful and fresh upgrade. And as you see, I had quite some fun taking those pictures.

My Look: Elaphe-paneled wool sweater and snake-print silk-satin and chiffon skirt
, both by Jason Wu, metallic snake-effect leather pumps
and pink pussybow silk necktie, both by Saint Laurent, fringed tote by Lanvin and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Lips: Kiss Kiss Shaping Cream Lip Colour in 361 Excessive Rose by Guerlain.
Nails: Le Vernis Nail Colour in 619 Pink Tonic by Chanel.

Dear September, a warm welcome from my side! I hope that you will save the Swiss summer 2014. Like probably most of you, I had constant clothing dilemmas with this sort of dreadful, end-of-days weather we have been getting this year.
As you see, I have started to wear my new Pre-fall 2014 pieces already in August, adding some vibrant colors to lighten up the mood and my new diamond ring makes me feel like the sunshine is at least wrapped around my finger. Whenever I look at it, my heart beats a little faster… isn’t it just a dream?!
My look: Geometric print cotton sweatshirt, LTN printed crepe skirt and printed modal and cashmere blend scarf, all by Peter Pilotto, Paris fringed suede ankle boots
and Monogramme embellished shopper tote, both by Saint Laurent, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget, diamond earrings by Cartier and baguette diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Friday one week ago, I went to the iconic Rive Gauche Summer Party at the Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich. The theme of the beautiful event was “ARIGATAU LAC – A NIGHT OF ASIAN DELIGHT“. With many enchanting performances, yummy food and lots of champagne, it still keeps its crisp flavour of freshness as the first social event after the summer break when everybody in the city enjoys the “to see and to be seen” part a lot! The dress code was “Asian Cocktail, Tokyo-Chic, Dress to Impress the West.” I didn’t want to wear a traditional cheongsam (Mandarin gown) as I was sure most of the guest would show up in something similar so I went for this origami-inspired gown spiced with some Chinese ideographs on my bag.
My look: Draped jersey dress by Givenchy, Jane sandals with chunky silver-tone studding by Saint Laurent,
“Take Away” bag by Chanel, diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget, necklace and earrings by Dior.

On Saturday evening, I attended the Zoofäscht 2014 one of the highlights of Zurich’s social calendar. The black tie event takes place every second year and collects money to support the Zurich Zoo. This time, CHF 850.000 were collected for the new Yak-enclosure.
My look: Striped tiered feather jacket
by Givenchy, cutout crepe gown
by Alexander McQueen, Jane leather sandals
by Saint Laurent, satin clutch by Prada, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget, earrings by Chanel and diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
LoL, Sandra

Today’s photos were taken at the East Side Gallery in Berlin, Germany. The probably largest and longest-lasting open air gallery in the world is actually an international memorial for freedom. With 1.3 km, it is the longest remaining part of the Berlin Wall, located near the city centre on Muehlenstraße in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, next to the river Spree.
The East Side Gallery consists of 105 paintings by artists from all over the world, painted in 1990 on the east side of the Berlin Wall.

Inspired by yesterday’s post about Rihanna who’s sporting the military trend for our September 2014 cover of L’OFFICIEL Schweiz/Suisse, here is a gun salute to the revival of military chic fashion this fall. Therefore I went through my closet to look for my S/S 2010 Balmain pieces – the season when it had been up-to-date the last time.
My look: Military shirt and khaki tank top, both by Balmain (from the S/S 2010 collection, for the new F/W 2014 pieces, please click HERE), pants by Alexander McQueen (similar ones HERE), sneakers by Prada Sport, Hapi leather bracelet by Hermès, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring by Piaget, sunglasses by Valentino and Boy Bag with chains by Chanel.
LoL, Sandra

After my summer holidays in Ibiza, I came back completely chilled and relaxed. But as usual you have to run some errands due to an empty fridge. Here you see me at Sihlcity in Zurich. Comfortable, with the ease of a never-ending beach time, this jumpsuit is not only perfect for vacations in hot climates, but also for a stroll through the city.
My look: Diamantino Rilievo crochet-knit jumpsuit
by Missoni, Alice leather sandals with pearls by Saint Laurent, blue suede fringe shoulder bag
by Gucci, Rome Sports chronograph in turquoise by Jacques Lemans, Double C diamond black lacquer white gold ring by Cartier and diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
On my toe nails: 575 Wonderland by Dior
On my finger nails: 625 Secret by Chanel (In stores end of August 2014).
