The press conference for the Alexander Wang x H&M launch event took place on one of the probably rainiest of New York City mornings at the St. Patrick’s Youth Center, located close to Bleecker Street station. My hair was a mess due to the humidity but I was brave to take those pictures of my outfit before we went inside. As Alexander Wang is also at the helmet of Balenciaga, I chose an ensemble from his recent F/W 2014 collection.
Alexander Wang with me at the press conference last Thursday
My look: Tonal blue silk-blend oversized jacket and matching mini skirt with black jacquard pattern, both by Balenciaga, peplum-detail top and padlock mini studded leather shoulder bag, both by Alexander McQueen and crystal embellished biker boots by Miu Miu. Diamond bracelet and ring, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery, rose diamond necklace by Piaget.
The best scent to wear: Bleecker Street by Bond No. 9, a woodsy oriental gourmand that captures the spirit of the West Village with a blend of seductive, indulgently sweet notes.
Stay tuned for the photos from the party in the evening…
LoL, Sandra

Leather is the way forward this season. Wherever you turn, there is the iconic luxe fabric. Skirts, vests or biker jackets; whatever wardrobe staple you’re after, make it leather – it’s the style for the A-List. If you are extra courageous, you’ll wear it head to toe.
My look: Biker jacket with fur details, leather biker vest
, sheer blouse, studded leather skirt and Janis embellished suede ankle boots, all by Saint Laurent, fur bag by Fendi, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Portofino midsize watch by IWC Schaffhausen.

Tribal and safari looks took over the runways with vibrant prints, warm tones and rich accessories. Don’t forget you can only be limited by your own imagination or fear of expressing your own individuality. Be courageous! Queen yourself the tribe leader of the fashion crowd!
My look: Draped tribal print top, tribal print pencil skirt and matching ‘Antigona’ clutch, all by Givenchy, crystal-embellished round-frame acetate sunglasses
by Fendi, fringed suede sandals
by Gucci, ‘Mise en Dior’ earrings by Dior, Pasha C watch by Cartier, rose diamond ring by Piaget and diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

After one month of fashion craziness, I have to admit that I was pretty relieved when the last day of Paris Fashion Week had finally arrived. No time to change in between, I was running from one show to another, followed by several showroom appointments. So I had to choose one outfit to wear all day…
My look: Jacquard jacket, cady top, leather mini skirt, Swarovski crystal-embellished fringed leather clutch and crystal embellished biker boots, all by Miu Miu. Rockstud Rouge crystal acetate sunglasses
by Valentino and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Paris Fashion Week was awesome, filled with many magical moments that I will share with you constantly during the next weeks. Here you see me running from one show to another at the corner of Rue de Castiglione and Rue du Faubourg Saint- Honoré wearing the season’s optical trend. Aren’t graphic stripes so much fun?!
My look: Mixed-stitch V-neck cardigan
and matching drop waist skirt, both by Prabal Gurung, bow collar blouse by Saint Laurent, silk scarf
by Alexander McQueen, crystal embellished biker boots by Miu Miu and tweed multicolored beaded fringe bag by Chanel.

This summer, I was invited by Vainard Fine Jewellery, the renowned Zurich-based jeweler, to fly to Idar-Oberstein, Germany’s famous gemstone centre, in a private jet to experience the house’s craftsmanship first hand. It was a very interesting trip and I cannot wait to show you the detailed post to share with you the beauty of diamonds.
My look in which I am conquering the runway literally…: Floral print loose fit T-shirt, embroidered jogging pants, purple, orange and black suede colourblock ‘Liberty’ sandals, all by Gucci, sunglasses by Prada, bar cuff in rose gold
by Balenciaga, Kelly bag ‘So Black’ by Hermès, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget.

Prove them wrong and follow my advice! If you have space, keep your clothes, there will always be a time for them again.
Knitwear dressing made a big comeback on the runways for the F/W 14 season and I am so happy that I have kept these S/S 2008 Prada pieces. They are so perfect for this fall.
F/W 2014: Stella McCartney – Céline – Marc Jacobs
My look: Cardigan, long knitted top and flared pants, all by Prada, wooden clogs by Miu Miu, pound printed modal and cashmere-blend scarf by Mary Katrantzou, orange colored Birkin bag and Hapi leather bracelet, both by Hermès, rose diamond necklace by Piaget and Double C diamond black lacquer white gold ring by Cartier.

The new sexy look is sophisticated and ultra-feminine. Hints of lace, curve-hugging dresses and even cutouts define this season’s mature seductive mood – for the Femme Fatale in you.
My look: Caroline cutout lace dress by Stella McCartney, ‘Jane’ sandals
by Saint Laurent, satin clutch and earrings, both by Prada, diamond ring and bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

I truly had a sparkling good time with Piaget at the 27th Biennale des Antiquaires. To ‘counterbalance‘ all the sparkles of the amazing jewelry inside, I went for this whimsical and sci-fi-esque galaxy print. Isn’t it fun when fashion takes you to outer space?! I got quite often stopped to get my pictures taken…
My look: Galaxy-print silk-chiffon biker jacket
and matching silk-satin and leather dress, both by Christopher Kane, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, sunglasses by Céline, pointed leather Mary-Jane pumps by Saint Laurent, rose diamond ring, necklace and Limelight Gala watch, all by Piaget, emerald-cut diamond ring and diamond bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Pure Matt 100 denier tights by Falke.

For a true fashion lover, Azzedine Alaïa is a must in a closet. An Alaïa dress is a seasonless wardrobe wonder piece that never lets you down. I bought my first item by the Tunisian-born designer probably 20 years ago and it still looks up to date. His designs play with discreet luxury, they are comfortable and ultra feminine. For the Bally x L’Officiel event I wore this look and played with the color combination of dark blue and black which I adore, it is so chic.
My look: Blue heart motif stretch-knit dress, black cropped fine-knit cardigan and corset belt, all by Azzedine Alaïa, Dirty ’50s stretch-denim jacket
by Saint Laurent, dark blue suede strappy sandals by Miu Miu, Kelly So Black bag by Hermès, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond necklace by Piaget, diamond ring and bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Monsieur Alaïa, you have my whole heart…
LoL, Sandra
