The restaurant Parisa, one of my favourites that I visited in Doha, belongs to the Sharq Village and Spa. Traditional Persian dishes are served with a contemporary, modern twist. The perfect ambiance to suit the mood of my outfit.
My look: Printed silk-blend crepe top, matching wide-leg pants with side splits from thigh to ankle, leather pumps with ankle straps, all
by Gucci (50% off), holographic faux leather clutch
by Stella McCartney (new season, please click here for more information on this rising trend), cocktail ring by Roberto Cavalli and crochet-knit turban
by Missoni (50% off).

I kept my make-up very easy, a little bronzer on the cheeks (24 Karat Shimmer Brick by Bobbi Brown – Limited Edition), mascara (Lash Queen Sexy Blacks by Helena Rubinstein) and red lips (Diorific 040 Marilyn by Christian Dior – Christmas look 2012).
On my nails: Coral Blame by Tom Ford.

Futuristic fabrics are high on this new season’s designer agenda and holographic looks are having a major fashion moment for S/S 2013. It is all about “Dress to Shine”!

FASHION MEETS SPACE AGE
Christopher Kane showed his collection for S/S 2013 on a holographic catwalk and Alexander Wang turned off the lights to enlighten the special fabrics of his clothes.

Holographic sequins played a major role at Antonio Berardi…

… and Talbot Runhof.

The trendsetter this season is definitely Jonathan Saunders. His holographic pieces will be on every fashionista’s wish list.

Christopher Bailey makes us drool over his metallic shiny fabrics for Burberry Prorsum that shimmer in all shades of the rainbow.
If you cannot wait to sport the trend first, have a look at those accessories below that have just hit the shelves:

Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler‘s sleek accessories are my favorite way to tap the trend, perfect for New Year’s Eve!

The Mytheresa Sale has officially started today, good news is that you can enjoy up to 50% off. But be careful! Markdowns can be a tricky seduction. Opt for something basic that you can wear for many seasons to come and don’t go for the overall print everybody has already seen a zillion times and that is so last season.
Here are some great investment pieces (see collage above):
Bouclé blazer by Mulberry (a classic)
Ribbed sweater with crystal bead embellished collar by Miu Miu (very versatile)
Leather jean-style leggings by Acne (a must)
Falabella hobo bag by Stella McCartney (always stylish)
Leather ankle boots by Gianvito Rossi (an everyday essential)
Metallic scarf by Marc Jacobs (metallics will be huge for S/S 2013)
Happy Shopping!

Last week almost 300 guests celebrated the opening of the Moncler store in Zurich. Located at the prestigious Storchengasse 8, the shop carries the house’s impeccably tailored alpine outerwear for men and women as well as the Moncler Grenoble line that takes its name from the French village where the brand originated, along with fabulous accessories from cool hats to fashionable fur boots.
My look at the opening party: White padded gilet

Dear readers, sorry for my tardiness in posting. I caught a terrible stomach flu and don’t feel like doing anything. Today, this gorgeous Sandra two-tone stretch-cady top
by Stella McCartney arrived on my doorstep, which of course made my heart leap for joy. A top with my name, how cool is that?!
I love the dipped hem that adds to the contemporary appeal of this elegant piece. It gives my winter wardrobe a graphic spin and will surely look gorgeous with skinny pants and golden bangles.

This was my look for the amazing Caviar & Oyster Collection Dinner with Bobbi Brown:
Black dress with angel wing sleeves by Stella McCartney, Soft Stirrup black brocade leather clutch, Noah high heel cut-out pump, both by Gucci, bangle, goldfish cuff and cocktail ring, all three by Roberto Cavalli, earrings by Chanel.

Of course, I created my make-up with the beautiful new products by Bobbi Brown:
I used the Caviar & Oyster Palette (CHF 120.-) for the eyes (I blended all eight shades and dabbed Ballet Sparkle with my fingertip), then I applied the Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (CHF 33.-) in Black Ink with the Smokey Eye Liner Brush (CHF 43.-) and smudged it with the Long-Wear Eye Pencil (CHF 33.-) in Jet. To finish off the smokey look, I layered the new limited edition Dual-Ended Mascara (CHF 33.-) in Black.
On my lips I wore Brightening Lip Gloss (CHF 35.-) in Moonlight Pearl and on my cheeks Blush (CHF 41.-) in Pretty Pink.

In celebration of the holiday season, I recommend buying some festive knits. Combine a stylish holiday sweater with a sexy pencil skirt and some high heels to take the look to new heights.
Appliquéd wool turtleneck sweater
by Moschino, bonded PVC pencil skirt
by Tibi and red patent-leather pumps
by Dolce & Gabbana.
Rossella Jardini, Moschino Creative Director, gives the following style advice: “When designing our sweater, I played with the classic Christmas elements and added a Moschino touch! I would suggest wearing them with a simple pair of skinny jeans.”

I adore those sweaters and couldn’t resist the one by Stella McCartney. Which one is your favourite?
