Last night, I got back from Gstaad where I attended the Asmallworld Winter Weekend. Those photos were taken before I left the charming Swiss mountain town that was bathed in warm sunshine yesterday.
Today, I flew to Florence for the 7th edition of Firenze4Ever with LUISAVIAROMA. I love travelling in comfortable clothes that still look stylish. Here you can see me at the Zurich airport before heading off to Bella Italia.
Here is the look that I wore to the Forte_Forte “10” presentation at Vestibule.
I am completely in love with 3.1 Phillip Lim’s S/S 2013 collection, such cool and easy-to-wear pieces.
Diamanté-embellished silk topby Moschino Cheap and Chic, stretch-leather skinny pants by Gucci, orange leather biker jacket by Balenciaga, bi-colour glittering ankle boots by Chanel, Elsie bag by Chloé, cuff by Stella McCartney, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.
Below are more photos taken in our underground garage before. Hope that you will like them!
Today has been an exciting day. Karl Lagerfeld has officially launched his new highly anticipated clothing line KARL for S/S 2012 all over the world with a personal appearance in Paris.

“I have been dreaming of mass elitism for a long time. I think it was almost my duty to make it possible under my name. This is the road of modernity.”
A visionary, with a unique instinct that allows Lagerfeld to anticipate trends and desires, he wanted to offer a luxurious yet affordable collection, retaining his core values of sharp styling and high quality. It is his first “masstige” collection – a combination of the words ‘mass market’ and ‘prestige’.
I was lucky to have a sneak preview in the morning at the newly opened showroom located in the 7th arrondissement. The collection offers lots of great basic staples as well as gorgeous accessories such as collars and gloves, iconic Karl pieces.
In the showroom, I also explored the upcoming F/W 2012 Karl Lagerfeld collection which will be available for men and women. The prices will be a little higher than the younger more basic KARL line. The collection includes great accessories such as sunglasses and also some pieces for home. I will keep you posted on that.
While being at the showroom, RTL filmed me for an upcoming TV-documentation on the new line while exploring the pieces.
To shop KARL, just click on the banner below to be transfered directly. But before that please enjoy the awesome video collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and video artist Barnaby Roper. Have fun!
OMG… it feels like in the 80’s! The crazy colours are back. Resort 2012 is full of neon brights with acid rainbow prints at Christopher Kane to elegant shift dresses at Michael Kors.
From fluorescent pinks to electrifying neon-greens here are the hottest pieces to wear this season. My suggestion: Team neon pieces with neutral hues or classic shades such as camel. Another way to work the trend is to add a bold accessory or some statement neon heels.
So here it is: My outfit that I wore to the final party of Firenze4Ever.
I took so many photos of the night, of interesting fashion people in Florence and the styling lab, so please stay tuned, more to come very soon.
My dress with the cut-out detail is from Alexander Wang’s Cruise 2011 collection. It has a built-in body which makes it perfect for heavy dancing.
I wore my ultra-comfy (believe me, it is true!) strappy sandals byGucci and a clutch bag by Alexander McQueen that has a glove attached to it (steal-proof).
The Balmainleather jacket with the chain detail is always an eyecatcher and was complimented the whole night.
But mostly loved by the fashion crowd was the headpiece from Miu Miu’s Cruise 2011 line.
On my nails, you see Chanel’s Riva nail polish and around my neck an embellished bib necklace byMatthew Williamson.
Yesterday, I hit myself with the corner of a shopping bag into the eye and had to go to the hospital. At least I did it in style.
Today, I look like a cyborg and declare red as the colour of the day.
As a little treat, I think that I will spoil myself with a red leather piece. This hot F/W 2010trend is going to stay for S/S 2011 with Balmain leading the way. For summer, there will be embellishments and extra studs. But those objects of desire have their price.
