This was my outfit I wore to the opening of Switzerland’s first Karl Lagerfeld store last week in Zurich. Sass and class I called it.

As you know, I was recently in Los Angeles with Piaget. It has been one of the best trips ever to my favorite city in the world. I have so many amazing impressions to show you. At the moment, I am working my way through the millions of photos. Here is a teaser post of the outfit I wore to the cocktail party Piaget hosted at the Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica.

My look: Blue bandage gown by Hervé Leger, Tribute sandals by Saint Laurent, embellished clutch with peacock feathers by Matthew Williamson, statement necklace by Lanvin, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

At the Piaget cocktail reception with Mousse Jacquier and Miss Switzerland 2005 Lauriane Gilliéron whom you might recognize from the recent Nespresso commercial with George Clooney and Matt Damon.

No time to dress in the morning? Some essentials are a great way to save time as they mix and match easily with other pieces from your closet. This season, I recommend a leather biker jacket and a black slim cardigan. They work with everything. Finish off the look with a statement bag and some fun jewelry and you will be ready in a sec!

On Thursday evening, we celebrated the launch of L’Officiel Switzerland. Finally, our first edition is at the kiosk. Personally speaking, I couldn’t have been more excited and of course I am wishing upon a star that it will be a success story. To make a dream come true, I thought wearing some stars might eventually help! Supposedly if you make a wish when you see the first star come out at night, the wish will come true. So better to wear many…

Our presenting sponsor, Aston Martin, offered me a car for the day and I loved it!

Before leaving to Los Angeles, I wore this comfy look for a nice lunch at one of my favorite restaurants in Zurich, Bindella, and a little shopping spree with my daughter.

Feminine, sophisticated and reminiscent of 1950s elegance, for the new season polka dots returned to the S/S 2014 runway. At Burberry Prorsum they came in a modernized and bold way, while at Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino they appeared smaller in black and white or red – all aptly retro-inspired, especially given Moschino’s special anniversary show.

Yesterday, I left for an amazing press trip I had been really looking forward to since weeks. Being invited by Gucci for the launch of their limited edition fragrance GUCCI GUILTY STUD to Nevada is pretty cool, isn’t it?

The trip was long, I flew from Zurich via San Francisco to Las Vegas. During the flight, I watched (couldn’t have been a better attunement…) Last Vegas, a comedy about a wild bachelor party thrown by group of old friends (Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman and Robert de Niro). It is such a funny movie, imagine The Hangover as a geriatric edition.

Avid readers of my blog might recognize part of my look. It is one of my favorite outfits to wear on long-distance flights as I really like to be comfy.

Yesterday, my cute little monster charm had his first excursion through Zurich and dangled from my vibrant Fendi bag. Honestly, my new friend could spike up every one of my existing totes. Buggies are the season’s cutest and fuzziest fashion accessory! A special collection with different facial expressions and luxurious materials, such as fox hair, mink fur, leather and more. Those creatures will eventually become collectors’ pieces, even the swans were impressed. If you have a sense of humor about your personal style from time to time, this is definitely for you!
