Recently, I participated in the campaign shoot for the Il Tavolo Food Festival in Zurich which will take place in collaboration with the Park Hyatt from June 27 – 30, 2013.
As I was completely free in choosing my outfit, I went for some food inspiration: Lobster print and pasta earrings. Ellin Anderegg, the photographer, liked my bag so much that it immediately became part of the advertising photo. Next to me is Lucy Tallo, owner of PR/Ticular.
My look: Lobster silhouette shift dress (If you like the crustacean theme, have a look at this Lobster intarsia-knit sweater or the Lobster-print cotton-jersey sweatshirt)
and Maverick suiting blazer, all by Tibi, cutout patent-leather ankle boots by Lanvin, Miss Sicily wool tapestry and leather tote and pasta earrings, both by Dolce & Gabbana.

This weekend, I went straight from Paris to Kitzbuehel in Austria to celebrate the 35th birthday of my lovely friend Tine. It was such a great party. We started with a cocktail reception at the Stanglwirt where the photos of my look were taken, followed by a trip with the cable car up to the summit station of the Hardkaiser from where we climbed up the hill to the very cozy Rübezahl Alm. Of course, the dress code was “traditional costume”.
Since many years, I have been collecting dirndl-style looks from different designer collections.
My look: Tyrolean jacket, top with lace sleeves and matching skirt by D&G Dolce & Gabbana, earrings
and necklace with velvet ribbon (my birthday gifts) by Dolce & Gabbana, embroidered bag by Valentino,
lace tights and hat, both by Dolce & Gabbana with brooch and gamsbart by Gucci, suede pumps by Saint Laurent.

The combination of black and white is shaping up to be one of S/S 2013‘s hottest trends, namely in the form of stripes. Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino showed one of the most stunning two-tone takeovers. I am convinced that chances are high, that you already have a few black-and-white-striped pieces in your closet, but look for a style update to take it up a notch. To get in on one of summer’s boldest trends, step inside to shop my picks now.

First of all, I love birthdays and I love being the birthday girl! Since my early childhood, this has never changed. Therefore I can happily say today: Happy Birthday to Myself!
This morning, my family surprised me with some very promising boxes from Dior and Dolce & Gabbana and the inside was as good as the outside, see for yourself. Especially the Dior ring put me in the perfect mood for my exciting trip to Paris with the French Maison tomorrow morning.
Stay tuned for more to be posted soon!

The November 2012 issue of German Myself Magazine featured one page of my personal online shopping must-haves and gave me the possibility to be in charge of the layout.
Above you can see what I came up with. It is such an amazing feeling to spot it printed in the magazine on one whole page!

As an avid reader of Sandra’s Closet, you might recognize some of the pieces. Below, you can click on the tiny photos to be transferred directly to the outfit posts in which I am wearing them. There you can also find all information where to buy them.
Have a lovely day!
