My first look: Camel hair blazer, silk blouse, wool-crepe wide-leg pants, all three by Gucci, tapestry ankle boots by Dolce & Gabbana and Kelly So Black by Hermès.
I am completely in love with the colour combination of red and beige. And aren’t those wide-leg pants just absolutely fabulous?!

I am completely in love with my new Chloé sweater that is the perfect cozy piece to wear at the weekend with its flocked finish and chic pastel-orange hue. Recently, I went through my closet and spotted some fabulous items from previous seasons that feel again like brand new wearing them, in keeping with my motto not to throw out anything. Each piece in your wardrobe will have its time again and combined with new season pieces even help you to add that certain twist.
My look: Flocked wool and cashmere-blend sweater by Chloé, apricot-coloured jersey dress by Miu Miu, Monogram Denim Sunrise bag with Foxy fur tail and tassel charm by Louis Vuitton from the S/S 2010 collection, boots by Dolce & Gabbana from the F/W 2006 collection. Finally Zurich has its own Rolex store operated by Bucherer, the Lucerne-based watch and jewelry specialist founded in 1888. The new shop is located at the prestigious Bahnhofstrasse close to the Paradeplatz with 130 m² dedicated to everything beautiful the most popular fine watch brand in the world has to offer. As one of the guests put it: “You can never go wrong with a Rolex under the Christmas tree.” I think most of us would agree with that.
My look at the opening party: Printed stretch-silk mini dress, Miss Sicily wool tapestry and leather tote (Farfetch offers free global shipping from December 3-19, 2012), both by Dolce & Gabbana. Fur coat by Gucci, red boots by Prada and pearl necklace by Chanel, all from previous seasons.

I would love to be a New York City Girl. Living in this vibrant city that has so much energy and that offers so many things to do, sounds too good to be true. Whenever I am there, I am truly enjoying my time. But I have to admit that I also like to come back to my very picturesque and calm Switzerland where I can always recharge my batteries before leaving for new adventures.
Those photos were taking on the terrace of Mondrian Soho‘s penthouse suite.

Outside I ran into Holli Rogers, Net-à-Porter’s Buying Director, who looked absolutely stunning in her leather and brocade dress by Christopher Kane along with the patent-leather pumps by Gucci.

Yesterday before the Valentino S/S 2013 show, I spotted Anna dello Russo in this opulent look which I have liked a lot. This black mesh dress was undoubtedly Dolce & Gabbana’s F/W 2012 collection’s hero piece, with hand-embellished gold discs, freshwater-inspired faux pearls and breathtakingly intricate beads paying tribute to homespun Italian artistry. Crafted with a shape-cinching built-in body and a skirt that flares as soon as it hits the hips, this structured style will sculpt the label’s beloved hourglass silhouette. And if you were asking yourself, why Anna didn’t close her dress properly. It is a showroom piece and therefore it didn’t fit her perfectly. But nevertheless, she looked awesome in it.

AMEDEO TURELLO is one of the most renowed photographers in the world. Since 1999, he has dedicated himself to fashion photography and I have been admiring his work since then. Therefore you can surely imagine how honoured I felt to meet him during the St. Moritz Art Masters 2012. Born and raised in Italy, Amedeo graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino and in Fine Art from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. His involvement with photography grew from a natural love of the visual arts and from his strong background in sociology, history of art and design.
Through his lens, the charming Italian has revealed the individual personality of a wide range of celebrities, such as Naomi Campbell, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. Amedeo was one of the first image makers to believe in Dita Von Teese as a fashion icon and it is largely thanks to him and his shooting “The Mistress and her Pupils” that she was launched in the fashion arena. Moreover, he was the author for the now iconic official photograph of HSH Prince Albert II and HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco (one of the most published pictures of the year, seen on Sandra’s Closet in May 2011).
Can you imagine how amazing it felt to be in front of his camera?!
Amedeo is a true professional. He has a great team working with him who took care of my hair and the outfits. Rosanna Trinchese, Fashion and Creative Director of RENE’OLIVIER PRODUCTIONS had some S/S 2013 looks for me to wear.
The dark long dress in the first photos is by Lila Morency, the jewels are by Azhar.
The second look further down is a combination of Rosanna’s pieces and my own: Fringed top by Avaro Figlio, jewels by Azhar, and my structured tuxedo jacket by Balmain, stretch-leather leggings by Gucci and Tribtoo textured leather pumps
by Yves Saint Laurent.
All these photos of the shoot were just randomly taken. I am so excited to see Amedeo’s final result and of course, I will keep you posted the minute I have received it. In the meantime enjoy those “behind the scene shots”.
Amedeo has a unique way of portraying the individual character. He is very passionate for his work, extremely concentrated and told me exactly what to do which I appreciated a lot. It was so much fun working with him.
There is a beautiful quote on his website which suits him very well: ” …to my father, who taught me to understand, appreciate and see the small, important things in life.”

My visit to the Biennale des Antiquaires last week was absolutely amazing. I was surrounded by outstanding beauty, extraordinary antiques and exquisite jewelry. Karl Lagerfeld has staged, decorated and created the visuals for the event as well as the backdrop. And being such a talented artist, he came up with a temporary world within the Grand Palais (the home of his Chanel shows) that was as beautiful as the thousands of objects d’art.
