Hello from beautiful sunny Milan. Here you see me in front of the iconic Duomo (Cathedral of Milan) which is is the largest and most complex Gothic building in Italy. But who would have thought that this embroidered skirt with the cute ice bear would also be the perfect look last night? Surprisingly it was as Moncler had transformed the Via Montenapoleone in a snowy landscape for the opening celebration of their newly renovated store. Most of the street was cordoned off and covered in white, as a multitude of snowflakes fell continuously from the building, landing on the heads and coats of the invited guests (see photo at the end).
My look: Ruffle-trimmed cotton-blend cady jacket
, ruffled-hem silk and wool-blend skirt, ruffled-neck chiffon blouse, Queercore embellished leather ankle boots, GG Marmont matelassé shoulder bag
and oversized round-frame actate sunglasses, all by Gucci.
Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ring
by Gucci Fine Jewellery.

I am in love with Gucci‘s bold prints and kaleidoscopic color palettes. While a real rainbow is a rare shot of magic across the sky and we cannot rely on Swiss fall weather, I suggest letting our wardrobes lift our spirits. Vibrant stripes are a symbol of fun, luck and positivity and make every outfit pop.
My look: Planet hoodie
, plissé-lurex midi skirt
, Peggy striped platform sneakers
, GG Marmont matelassé shoulder bag
, embellished oversized square-frame sunglasses
, and earrings with pearls and tiger heads, all by Gucci.

Last week, I flew for two days to Hamburg as guest of Steinway & Sons. An amazing experience I will soon tell you more about. Here you see me leaving the Gastwerk hotel for the gala dinner on Tuesday night. I am wearing my new must-haves pieces by Gabriela Hearst (for a previous post click here please) along with an iconic trench coat embellished with a cartoon and doodle print from the house’s latest S/S 2018 runway collection. See now, buy now at its best!
My look: Printed cotton-gabardine trench coat by Burberry, Betty open-back wool-blend dress
and Nina leather tote in cognac
, both by Gabriela Hearst, leather platform pumps by Gucci, 4810 hoop earrings in pink gold with diamonds by Montblanc.
I adore the combination of navy blue and cognac – what about you?

This week, after my post about the amazing experience with Hublot at the Oktoberfest, I got many compliments about my Dirndl look. You might be surprised but this outfit doesn’t include one single traditional Bavarian piece, every item comes from a runway collection. Over the years, I have collected so many fashion must-haves, that I love to style in different and unexpected ways. As I always say, keep everything if you have space, there will always be a time to wear those pieces again…, I am sure that you will be surprised to see the years in which I bought them.
My look: Bavarian janker jacket (F/W 2002) and corset-style dress (F/W 2010), both by D&G Dolce Gabbana, embellished leather choker (F/W 2002) and brooch (F/W 2010), all by Dolce & Gabbana, feather apron (S/S 2005) and lace-up leather boots, both by Prada (F/W 2001), plissé leather cuffs (F/W 2016) by Gucci, small classic black handbag with gold-tone metal chain by Chanel (F/W 1995), Venezia lace stay-ups (F/W 2003) by Wolford.

Last week, I attended the opening night of the 13th Zurich Film Festival that opened with Danish director Janus Metz Pedersen’s tennis thriller BORG/MCENROE. Based on actual events, it tells the story of the 1980s tennis rivalry between the placid Björn Borg and the volatile John McEnroe. The evening was a lot of fun with different events going on, from cocktail receptions to the screening, dinner and after party.
With Patrick Liotard-Vogt at the opening of the 13th Zurich Film Festival.
My look: Silk chiffon-trimmed cotton-blend lace halterneck gown by Alessandra Rich, leather platform pumps by Gucci, Saffiano double handle mini satchel by Prada, and earrings by Miu Miu.

What do you wear on a cruise? Comfy swimwear and nice tunics are all you need. Enjoying the wind, the sun, the sea and visiting different spots each day. A great place to see is the Amalfi Coast in Italy with its picturesque towns like Positano and Sorrento as well as the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia.
My look: Embellished printed cotton-voile kaftan by Tory Burch, cutout bandage bikini by Hervé Léger, crochet-knit and printed silk-chiffon headband by Missoni, embroidered brocade drawstring backpack by Gucci, beaded necklace by Etro, and DiorOrigins1 round sunglasses by Dior.

If you spent your childhood in a pair of Converse or even Nikes, you already know, the right sneakers can make a statement. If you pay attention to the proportions, dresses work well when paired with just the right comfy footwear. And not only will you earn major style points for thinking outside the box, but your feet will surely thank you. Here you see me wearing this kind of look on my way to the Maison Sisley in Paris.
My look: Olwen cutout printed cotton-jersey dress
and Falabella faux brushed-leather shoulder bag
