More is more, this is what the F/W 2016 season is all about! With fashion in a maximalist mood, accessories have taken center stage. I have fallen in love with all the shades of Chloé’s S/S 2016 collection from the first moment I saw it. Inspired by the youthful optimism of the ’90s, Clare Waight Keller embraced an interesting color spectrum for her must-have pieces. My favorite top combines two trends, rainbow colors and off-the-shoulder. It is cut from airy silk-georgette and detailed with dip-dyed tassels. Emulate the runway styling by wearing yours with love-worn denim shorts as I did.
My look: Off-the-shoulder striped silk-georgette top
by Chloé,
mid-rise cut-off denim shorts
by Saint Laurent, woven straw visor by Stella McCartney, nouveau python clutch, metallic fabric sandals and ruthenium-plated, Swarovski crystal and faux pearl clip earrings
, all by Gucci, Tonda 1950 set clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier, cuff by Chanel and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

On the S/S 2016 runways, oversized florals burst into full bloom. Large in scale, the blossoms have been seen in all ways, preferably on wide-leg pants and tops. Here you see me wearing the trend on a business trip in Bali last month. Comfortable and stylish in one.
My look: Jessie poppy-print top and Maude printed crepe de chine wide-leg pants, both by Stella McCartney
, Soho mini textured-leather shoulder bag and suede and metallic peep-toe sandals, both by Gucci, T Wire Narrow 18-karat rose gold bracelet by Tiffany & Co,
pearl earrings by Chanel
, diamond ring by Cartier, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

Isn’t it so true? A woman can never have enough shoes in her closet. Most of the time, we tend to go for high heels but now it is time to add something new to our wish list: GUCCI
‘s versatile Ace sneakers. So comfortable and so stylish!

Beautifully embellished with sparkling patches, embroideries, pineapples, bees and of course the iconic green and red stripes, I am absolutely convinced that those beauties will sell out fast.

My favorites: Sequin-embroidered low-top Ace sneakers with lips

A touch of whimsy: Ace heart embroidered leather low-top sneakers

Gucci’s Ace sneakers are also available for men here

Hello from NYC! I arrived Wednesday and had to go straight to my first meeting with Piaget. After a quick change at my hotel, the Park Hyatt, I took those photos in two minutes as it started drizzling. It was extemely hot and humid but I couldn’t wait to put on my new crochet-like cardigan. I adore its logo-embossed faux pearl buttons and lace Peter Pan collar that both add to its heritage feel.
My look: Metallic lace-trimmed cotton-blend cardigan and blue knitted dress, both by Gucci, dark blue suede strappy sandals by Miu Miu, metallic patchwork camera bag by Saint Laurent
, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget.

«Dino Cool» – the hype and success of Jurassic World hit the catwalk. Combined with one of the oldest dyeing techniques (with first traces found in ancient Egypt) that was popular in the 70’s, tie dye, it creates a cool look. The cherry on the cake is Marc Jacobs‘ eye-catching take on the American Flag. Perfect for me as I am leaving to New York today… stay tuned.
My look: Embellished striped wool and linen-blend and leather bomber jacket and tie-dyed cotton-jersey T-shirt, both by Saint Laurent, black jeans by Dolce & Gabbana,
embroidered denim clutch by Marc Jacobs
, embellished metallic leather sandals and aviator-style metal sunglasses, both by Gucci.
LoL, Sandra

“I want to become so famous that Damien Hirst’s mother knows me.”
– Jani Leinonen
The Baur au Lac garden is one of my favorite places in the city of Zurich. And at the moment there is an exhibition in the parc that you definitely should not be missing. Two weeks ago, Gigi Kracht, wife of hotel owner Andrea, opened her 14th Art in the Park (photos of the opening will be coming up shortly) that will be going until the 7th of August, 2016. This year, she is presenting the work of one of my favorite artists, Finnish shooting star, Jani Leinonen. The 38-year old plays with logos and symbols of the luxury goods industry in such an ironic way that it makes you think and laugh at once.

Let’s take for example the work “The most terrible things, war genocide and slavery, have resulted not from obedience, but from disobedience”. This outdoor installation reimagines boldly appropriated corporate logos of the globe’s most powerful brands to put emphasize on social injustice and corporate hegemony. I love Jani’s way of expressing himself. He is criticizing society with his colorful and fun art that makes you happy looking at it at the same time.
Jani presented me his book with a personal dedication (Would be a nice tattoo, wouldn’t it?).
Check out these previous posts that I wrote over the last years concerning Jani’s art: Fashion Meets Art (2010), Jani Leinonen and a Fashionable Tombstone (2011), Shoe Liberation Army Takes Over (2012).

My look: Striped blazer by Givenchy
, silk-georgette trapeze blouse by Chloé
, superskinny mid-rise jeans by Victoria, Victoria Beckham, jacket quilted leather shoulder bag by Moschino, embellished leather mid-heel loafers by Gucci, beaded gold-tone rosary necklace by Dolce & Gabbana and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Stay tuned for more…
