My Look: Chloé Nomade

Natacha Ramsay-Levi is the first French woman to take the helm at Chloé since 1998. Incorporating the signature edge we saw from her at Balenciaga while maintaining Clare Waight Keller‘s sense of lightness, her debut S/S 2018 collection includes feminine dresses for which she has reworked iconic house codes, the new Rylee motorcycle boots and a new much-anticipated fragrance: Chloé Nomade. I am completely in love and you will see me wearing a lot of the French house in the next months!

My look: Appliquéd shearling-trimmed denim jacket by Gucciicon, paneled lace, stretch and jacquard-knit mini dressicon, and Rylee cutout woven leather knee boots, both by Chloé

It is all about crossing the next frontier, always pushing the boundaries of who you are. Start with the fragrance and work your way up to the collection – you will surely love it!

The Hair Clip Is Back

Gosh, sometimes I still remember the time when I was a little girl and wore barrettes in all sorts of colors, especially in school to keep my hair out of my face. Funilly enough, I kept loosing them to the dislike of my mum. Now, we are back with this trend. But this S/S 2018 season, you would want to hold on to them tightly because they’re so much fancier and you wouldn’t want to loose a gold or bedazzled hair clip for over €100 each.

How to wear this hair accessory in 2018? The coolest way is to position it on the level of the top of your ear. Gucci‘s jaw-dropping, rhinestone-affixed logo version is a such a pretty way to secure a swept-back style.

Simone Rocha’s cast of Victorian-esque Brits captured the hearts of It-girls worldwide with their pearl-encrusted barrettes placed properly to the side.

Donnatella Versace’s delicate gold hairpins that graced the beautiful heads of Gigi, Kendall, and Kaia Gerber in Milan will definitely be on every fashionista’s shopping list.

But leave it to the showstopping House of Saint Laurent to deliver the most extravagant (and expensive) hair clip of the season.

As these decorative details quickly make their way onto red carpets and the heads of street style’s finest, all that is left to say is: Let party season begin. Barettes in 2018 are much fancier than in the ’90s!

And to keep your hair in place, I recommend BJÖRN AXEN’S MEGAFIX HAIRSPRAY SUPER STRONG HOLD. This hairspray gives you shine, holds and is easy to brush out leaving no white flakes.

Stay tuned! Another ’90s hair trend is back that I will tell you all about this week!

My Look: Mini Dress

My search for the perfect day to night dress was over when I found this gorgeous embellished one. Mini stands in this case for minimal dressing effort with a huge effect. This showstopper makes a sharp and chic style statement. Combined with my favorite clutch ever, the Chanel cigar box, I love wearing it around the clock.

My Look: Seasonless is the New Timeless

I am just going to come right out and say it: striped shirting is probably the most versatile wardrobe trend you’ll ever come across. Being never out of style, stripes can be easily combined as seen here with my new Roksanda shirt and pieces from previous seasons. In fashion seasonless is the new timeless

My look: Shearling vest and riding boots, both by Gucciicon, Frida ruffle-trimmed striped cotton-poplin blouse by Roksanda, drawstring shorts by Givenchy, shearling bag by Saint Laurent, cuff by Céline, T Wire Narrow 18-karat rose gold bracelet by Tiffany & Co, Tonda 1950 Galaxy by Parmigiani Fleurier, and Mitza ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie.

By the way, after the Polyvore disaster this week, this is my first collage done with Photoshop. It took much longer and doesn’t look as fancy as it used to but I am getting there. At the moment, I cannot get over the fact that all my data is lost, all my outfit pictures and much more. Nobody is responding to the broken link to get it. But I am not giving up and am ready to kick some…. . Can you imagine that I had around 50 posts prepared – all of which are gone! So mad and disappointed.

Trending: Green Stirrups and Track Pants

With the athleisure trend dominating off-duty style, I am always looking for ways to rock the sporty gear for work, too. Track pants are officially one of the biggest fashion hypes of the moment, with many designers willing to take them from the gym to the streets. I opted for green stirrup trousers since it’s unapologetically one of the most eye-catching colors.

Heart Me Sunglasses

Heart-shaped sunglasses are a must this summer! The most Instagrammable ones of the season will be probably Saint Laurent’s LouLous that combine a cheeky Lolita-style heart-shape with retro cat-eyes. I am in love and you?

My Look: Going Public

Yesterday, I had another front row experience than usual by attending the «going public» event of ASMALLWORLD at the SIX Swiss Exchange in Zurich as the first listed social media company there. At 9.01 am, the «ring the bell» celebration took place in Swiss style with a cow bell and it was very exciting watching the first trading day happening in full swing.
