As I promised you, here is the exclusive video I was talking about earlier today. Renowned actress and OMEGA ambassador Nicole Kidman stars in the brand’s elegant new Ladymatic campaign launched at the glamorous event in Vienna, Austria “La Nuit Enchantée” tonight. It was truly amazing and I was able to meet Nicole in person. This exclusive video takes you behind-the-scenes of Nicole Kidman’s photo shoot with world-famous fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh. Stay tuned for more…
This afternoon, I have arrived in Vienna. Omega invited me to their Ladymatic event and the La Nuit Enchantée (An Enchanting Night) which will take place tonight. Known for its captivating look, the iconic Ladymatic has been a prestigious example of the brand’s style and invention since its launch in 2010. During the weekend, the newest Ladymatic timepieces will be shown as well as the campaign featuring long-time ambassador Nicole Kidman who will be also present at the event tonight. Stay tuned as the exclusive video will be coming up here soon.
I am staying at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton and attached some photos of my spacious room. Upon my arrival, I had to have an Austrian apple strudel, so yummy!

This was my outfit that I wore to the Pre-Oscar Charity Brunch hosted by Montblanc and UNICEF to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Signature For Good 2013‘ initiative with special guest Hilary Swank at Hotel Bel-Air Saturday morning.
Of course, the sun was shining in Los Angeles but temperatures were quite chilly so that I was very thankful to have brought something warm.
In 2012, Louis Vuitton launched the Tambour Bijou Secret, a precious yet technical secret watch collection which subtly mixes white gold or pink gold with mother-of-pearl and diamonds.
Tambour Bijou Secret Black
Today, the collection expands with two new steel models, the Tambour Bijou Secret Black and the Tambour Bijou Secret White. Matching the black and white fashion trend in perfection, this watch and jewel in one, the Tambour Bijou Secret in black or white poetically plays with the house‘s iconic Monogram flowers. Delicately slide the cover of the first Monogram flower with rounded petal and refined diamond heart to reveal the second pointed petal Monogram Flower on the dial. With steel case and a white mother of pearl dial and cover for the Tambour Bijou Secret White and a ceramic cover and black lacquer dial for the Black version, these two new models are presented on a triple coiled Monogram Vernis leather strap.

The Tambour Bijou Secret Black & White watches will be available in March 2013 in Louis Vuitton stores for CHF 5050.- each.
During last week’s SIHH 2013, I visited also the Montblanc booth that was an absolute eyecatcher due to the extraordinary pieces of the Montblanc Cutting Edge Art Collection that currently comprises more than 180 artworks.
In the collage above you can see me with Ingrid Roosen-Trinks, Director of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation, and some of Montblanc’s very special guests…
Of course, the house’s newest watch highlights such as the Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours were also presented at the booth.

Montblanc Villeret Seconde Authentique Pair
Pair watches are a huge trend especially in Asia and wouldn’t those watches just be perfect for this gorgeous couple below?!
Montblanc friends of the brand Olivia Palermo (wearing Montblanc Star Classique Automatic watch) and Johannes Huebl (wearing Montblanc Star 4810 Chronograph) in front of an artwork by Hiroyuki Masuyama.
Proving that Olivia is a style icon all over, she combined tweed and leather with statement heels, golden jewelry and a vibrant clutch that would upgrade every outfit to a new level.

Speaking of IWC Schaffhausen, you are talking superlatives which is entirely in keeping with the creative spirit that reigns at the Swiss watchmaking company. After the amazing launches and events of the last years, I had been pretty curious if this could be topped. And yes, they did it! As director Marc Forster said, “arriving at the IWC booth feels like arriving at a film set”. And this time, I arrived at a race track. The booth was filled not only with the most exquisite watches, but with the most stunning race cars you can imagine.
So ladies and gentlem, start your engines. In 2013, IWC Schaffhausen embarks on the Formula One season as the Official Engineering Partner of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team and relaunches the Ingenieur family that appears in a new, modern and very impressive light.
Georges Kern, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, puts his finger on it when he says: “Three outstanding quality features set the new Ingenieur collection apart: top-quality IWC movements, sophisticated functions and innovative materials.”
The story of the Ingenieur is strongly connected to the rapid progress made during the 1950s when technological progress dramatically increased the presence of magnetic fields. The Ingenieur, a pure and simple man’s watch, became famous as the antimagnetic watch of that time. When in 1976, IWC Schaffhausen unveiled the “Ingenieur SL” designed by Gérald Genta (above on display at the booth), an icon was born.
In 2013, the Ingenieur has become the perfect watch for the racetrack as the set-up of a Formula One™ racing car and the assembly of a high-precision timepiece, both exemplify the art of engineering at the highest-possible level. Materials used in motorsport, such as carbon fibre, ceramics and titanium, are the hallmarks of the new design line.
My favourite model: The Ingenieur Automatic Carbon Performance (Ref. 3224) features a rubber strap with a textile inlay, which is stitched with signal-yellow or red thread.
Personally speaking, it’s one thing to look at those photos and read all about those new must-have timepieces, but it’s quite another to strap them on your wrist and examine them up close. The new Ingenieur watches will surely be a hit for IWC, so better race to the next IWC dealer and get your hands on them. The pole position will be all yours, at least style-wise.
What a beauty: The Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month (Ref. 3792) features a perpetual calendar together with a digital date display and leap year indicator.
Have fun exploring whom I spotted at the booth and stay tuned for more photos coming up, especially from the amazing IWC Race Night with top celebrities from all over the world.

Fashion icon Daphne Guinness has now joined the exclusive circle of friends of Roger Dubuis. To mark this new collaboration, the internationally renowned photographer Nick Knight captured the Anglo-Irish aristocrat wearing the Velvet models that were launched this year at the SIHH 2012 in January.
In this exceptional photo shoot produced, the watches are highlighted perfectly on her wrist as she wears wonderful creations from her personal vintage wardrobe. I am really keen to give you an exclusive preview of Nick Knight’s series of pictures and the film presenting the making of the photo shooting made with Daphne Guinness.
Daphne Guinness is the friend and muse of the most famous photographers, designers and art directors. It is as if fate decreed that this muse with a creative temperament should meet Roger Dubuis and should personify the watchmaker’s feminine collections that exercise a fascinating and daring appeal… just like her.
“Daphne is a superbly mysterious woman – you can never unravel her secrets. She is an ideal photo subject and I love working with her”,Nick Knight said after the session. “Her amazing creative spirit is a real inspiration”.

The 26th Biennale des Antiquaires runs from14th September to the 23rdat the Grand Palais in Paris and alongside the world’s most exclusive antique and art dealers are ten of the most desirable jewelers including Boucheron, Chanel, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Harry Winston, Piaget, Van Cleef and Arpels, and for the first time ever Bulgari and from China Wallace Chan.
All of these houses create their most refined jewels for this event which is the most important show of its kind. One collection has already caught my eye: “Couture Précieuse”by Piagetwith which the famous jeweler renews its homage to feminine beauty and celebrates its second participation in the Biennale des Antiquaires. Once again, Piaget affirms its style with strength and elegance, dressing women in watches and jewelry that are as spectacular as they are exceptional, epitomising the veritable secrets of seduction.
My dream piece: The laces inspired cuff watch in white gold and diamonds sculpts the wrist like a wasp waist. The Fine Jewelry laces, some set with brilliant-cut diamonds and other with baguette-cut diamonds, cross over and intertwine. An ode to elegance, the beauty of this piece reveals another treasure – a watch enabling its wearer to check the time discreetly on the inside of the wrist – another expression of Haute Couture refinement.
Discreet lecture of time inside the wrist. Crafted in 18K white gold.
Case and integrated clasp set with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.8 ct).
Bracelet set 288 baguette-cut diamonds (13.8 cts) and 85 brilliant-cut (approx. 9.2 cts).
Silvered dial. Piaget 56P quartz movement. High Jewellery expertise. Ref. G0A38200 Couture
When a piece of Piaget jewelry or a watch is finally finished, it is the result of hundreds of hours of development and execution by Piaget’s master jewelers. Each piece can therefore be considered unique, because it is made by the hands of men whose unique masterpieces can never attain this level of perfection in an absolutely repeatable manner. See for yourself:

I am invited to the Biennale des Antiquaires, so stay tuned for some amazing photos in September!
Beaches, waves, deckchairs and flip-flops… Not without humour and cheekiness, Chopard celebrate the pleasures of an endless summer with the latest model in their Happy Sport collection: the HAPPY BEACH CHRONO.
With its generous 42mm case in 18-carat rose gold, the Happy Beach Chrono will leave no one cold on the warm sandy beaches this summer. With its painted dial representing a strip of sand swept by the waves and its little moving flip-flops set with diamonds, it leaves no room for doubt: the Geneva-based watch and jewelry company is celebrating the theme of the beach, the summer and the pleasures they bring.
Presenting the chronograph and date functions in a window eccentrically placed at 4.30, the Happy Beach Chrono is powered by a quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 30 metres. Its rotating bezel in 18-carat rose gold is topped with blue gloss indicators, while its crown, also in 18-carat rose gold, is set with a blue sapphire. Finally, in a nod to the beach chairs of yesteryear, the Happy Beach Chrono’s water-resistant brushed canvas strap is white with blue stripes – just as it should be.
Happy Beach Chrono, a timepiece at the height of the fun you will be having this summer! Let the dancing flip-flops set with diamonds reflect the paradise we all dream of when the summer heat arrives. For price inquiries, please contact the Chopard boutique nearest to you.
