Rohmir was founded by former model and psychologist Olga Roh in 2007 and means in Russian Roh`s universe. The ready-to-wear line offers women a wardrobe in which luxury, elegance, glamour and intellectuality reign supreme. I especially like her cocktail couture. The prices are reasonable between CHF 500.- – CHF 1000.- for an evening dress. The blonde designer herself hails from Russian nobility and is now a resident of Monaco. It might be her own lifestyle that influences her creations, a mixture between Parisian chic and Slavic refinement. Her label is on the rise, inspired by the French 1920s and 1930s fashion, a culturally rich era and also a liberating time for women.
This spring, Rohmir`s first London boutique opened in Mayfair. The launch was attended by many UK-celebrities including TV-psychologist Linda Papadopulos, Britain`s Next Top Model presenter Lisa Butcher and well-known models Olivia Inge and Zoe Hobbs.
Last week Cartier hosted an event in Zurich to present their new Trinity collection with all models dressed in Rohmir creations. What a lovely match! Please see for yourself:

Remember that I told you last year to get some cuffs and wide bracelets for this summer. If you followed my advice, it was definitely a good investment. The hype is not over yet and those pieces are going to remain absolute must-haves for the next season.

If you still need some or just cannot get enough, have a look at those gorgeous upcoming versions. I also spotted a lot of sleeveless tops and dresses on the runways.
Just perfect because like that your arm embellishments have a enough space to show.
My motto this winter: Cuff me!

This month, Cartier is presenting their new Trinity Sauvage collection consisiting of ring, bracelet and pendant, all in 3-gold, laquer and diamonds.
The Trinity line is Cartier`s legendary symbol of love, friendship and fidelity. The pure simplicity of three magically intertwined circles of pink, yellow and white gold was created in 1924 by Louis Cartier and has remained until today a signature piece of the house. Around the same time Cartier was inspired to the Panthère collection. The fusion of those two iconic lines is divine to me. I am always crazy for animal patterns and love the new design. Well done, Cartier!

Tatjana Hoffmann with me to the left
Meet the jewelry designer Tatjana Hoffmann and her beautiful collection Jewels by Tatjana Hoffmann. The stunning tall blonde creates outstanding pieces with the right amount of glamour and individuality. The designs are statement pieces that can accentuate your look perfectly. Her experiences as a model and her various journeys to many different places in the world have served her as inspirational sources. I love especially her chunky cocktail rings.
If you are interested and have your own imaginations or special wishes concerning gemstones, colours etc., please feel free to contact the Munich based designer.

The ethnic influence is undeniable this spring/summer. Numerous were the sources of inspirations that designers used for their creations. Embroideries, coloured beads, leather thongs and pompoms appeared everywhere. Embellishment is not the only important factor, to my eye the shape is essential, too. A lot of “gym bags” combined with add-on charms and tassels were seen on the runways. A leader of the trend is Marc Jacobs with his collection for Louis Vuitton. You should definitely get your hands on one of those bags. Good luck!

Do you still need a Christmas present? I got an idea for you that is fun, cute, sexy and absolutely hilarious! Have a look at www.lochers.com. Being a Swiss Girl in Paris, Nicole Locher, opened her design atelier in 2005. She is creating that shock of contrast that I so much adore as she combines the beautiful artwork of vintage inspired embroidery with the playful modern attraction of a dirty saying. I think those tees and jewelry pieces will save you some words….

This combination below would be my way of combining a tee and necklace by Locher`s. From the outside very preppy with that little feather headband but look at those heels and especially at the garter belt. Who is going to be …… in the head now?
