During Baselworld, I attended a very special cocktail party at the Kunsthalle in Basel hosted by MUZO. Last December, I had been to Colombia to visit their emerald mines which was an unforgettable experience. I will show you all my memories soon. The way inside to the event was constructed like a jungle and of course to honor the precious stones, I wore emerald.

Rumors had been going on already, but only last week we got the confirmation that Hedi Slimane is leaving Saint Laurent. It was only a four-year tenure, but the designer wove a serious fashion tale, definitely in my closet. I went crazy when his first collection (Cruise 2013) for the French Maison hit the shelves.

In 2012, when Slimane started, he first changed the name YSL to a simple Saint Laurent and ushered in rock ‘n’ roll influences. He included menswear into the women’s runway shows and created iconic pieces such as biker jackets, the Janis heels, the Sac de Jour bag that he presented every season in other shades. Due to this, he designs never went out of style but on the other hand, it got a little boring after a while.

Saint Laurent is under the helmet of the Kering giant and to add fuel to the fire, a likely successor might have been already chosen: Anthony Vaccarello, who was handpicked by Donatella Versace to spearhead the Versus brand, and was named its creative director last September.

French Fashion carrousel is turning as Raf Simons (Dior), Alber Elbaz (Lanvin) and Alexander Wang (Balenciaga) had left their posts last year.

Raised in Germany, England and France, Jasmin Khezri studied at the renowned Parsons School of Design in Paris and Los Angeles and went on to become one of the youngest award winning art directors in Europe. Besides a successful career in magazines and retail, she became famous for her unique illustration style and especially for IRMA, the famous character with big eyes and French-fries legs that you might know from mytheresa.com besides many other things. I enjoy living in MUNICH during the week and for the weekend I like to go to the countryside. That is the best part of the city…

The first days of spring, this is a time I truly adore. Here you see me on my way to a spring picnic with friends. Bohemian, hippy style has been all the rage lately. I have always been a huge fan of long floral dresses, perfect for the change of the seasons.

My look: Leather-trimmed shearling gilet, printed silk-chiffon dress, lace-up suede knee boots, studded leather belt and Monogram fringed shoulder bag, all by Saint Laurent, «Dior Split» sunglasses by Dior, earrings and cocktail ring, both by Chanel.

Below you can enjoy GUCCI’s new campaign for pre-fall 2016, photographed by Glen Luchford. The photos are set in a glass-domed tropical aviary where wild plants and wandering flamingos move freely across patterned rugs and among piles of old books. The images portray an energetic, emotional, surreal riot of colours, textures and movement, recalling the spirit of many of the House’s new flora and fauna-based prints. In this chaotic and cluttered wonderland, more is definitely more. My mantra!

Personally speaking, I am drooling over the pink Sylvie bag, the cat embellished sweaters and shiny pleated skirts. Another collection that is to die for!
