Last week, I was invited to explore the new brand HAIR RITUEL by SISLEY PARIS and I have absolutely fallen in love with it! The Swiss team of SISLEY PARIS had invited hair stylist Rolf Baettig and his Intercoiffure crew from St. Gallen and Romanshorn to explain and show us the new products more in details. Moreover, I was treated to my own experience and trust me, those products are absolutely amazing, easy to handle and great for your hair! Let me tell you a little more about the concept.

Restructuring Conditioner with Cotton Proteins, 200ml – CHF 70.00
As well as smoothing cuticles and detangling strands, the brand’s new conditioner is a little like a supplement for your locks. Cotton Proteins and Ceramide-like actives rebuild each follicle’s protein and lipid structures at a cellular level, while pro-Vitamin B5 stimulates growth for thickness and length. The result is nourished hair that’s made naturally stronger and glossier from within.

This hair oil is designed to be applied to the mid-lengths and ends of damp or dry hair to give it a last-minute dose of glossiness and hydration. If you want to tackle frizzy or lackluster hair, this serum is the answer. Enriched with plant-based extracts, proteins, vitamins and minerals, this light and non-greasy formula gets to work starting from your scalp by encouraging growth and promoting strength, whilst protecting your natural color (like in my favorite Sisley mascara «So Intense»). It can be applied as little or as much as needed, so for a more intense treatment try a few drops every other day.

Yesterday, I flew back from London Heathrow filled with amazing memories from Fashion Week that I will soon share with you. When I am flying, I like to be comfy but still look stylish. Leather leggings and a striped sweater are one of my favorite combinations and the trending baker boy cap adds a little French touch!

My look: Double-breasted wool-blend felt coat by Saint Laurent, cashmere striped sweater by Chloé, skinny leather pants by Gucci, large classic flap bag in caviar leather and long bi-colour scarf, both by Chanel, metal chain necklace by Prada, baker boy cap by Dolce & Gabbana, and corset-style booties by Valentino. Being obsessed with style is one thing, but I prefer just having fun with fashion. I like to experiment with unexpected combinations, cuts and colors.

For S/S 2018, Miuccia Prada collaborated with eight female illustrators who depict women in their own way for a collection inspired by comics that I absolutely adore!

Besides the must-have bags and clothes, the designer launches new must-have sneakers for women that will be available at selected Prada stores from end of February 2018. I LOVE!

For the past couple of seasons, niche bag brands have been on the rise. Hot new brand to know WANDLER is guaranteed to be a regular fixture on your Instagram feeds and in street style galleries. Amsterdam-based founder Elza Wandler wanted to create bags that are beautiful yet simple including her must-have trapeze-shaped ‘Hortensia’.

After launching in 2017, Wandler was picked up by many influential stockists including Net-à-Porter, MatchesFashion and Browns. Towards BoF Elza Wandler said: «I think the brand has created a maturity around itself which has a certain luxury appeal attached to it that you don’t see with many contemporary bag brands. Personally, I’m not attracted to super clean, but equally I don’t gravitate towards a total Versace look. However, the mix of these two is what excites me and I don’t feel like you see that a lot in fashion today.»

Elza Wandler

Her fashion and branding studies at Amsterdam Fashion Institute provided Wandler with a solid foundation to balance design and commerce. «There I learned that the business doesn’t stop after you make a product. There is a lot that comes with it like branding, image-making and social media,» she continued. And I couldn’t agree more…

I am sure we will see a lot more of Wandler in the future…

Thursday night, I attended Breitling‘s red-carpet event at Zurich’s Hallenstadion. The innovative Swiss watch brand celebrated the debut of its new Navitimer 8 collection and Breitling’s new global CEO, Georges Kern introduced his brand’s next chapter. The event was the European stop on Breitling’s international tour, which debuted in Shanghai in late January and which will move on to New York City at the end of February.

As 2018 marks the Year of the Dog, I’ve chosen an offbeat ode to one of my favorite four-legged friends with this dog print gown and hope that you will like it as much as I do.

My avid readers know how much I love London. Personally speaking, a weekend trip to the British metropole is one of my favorite things to do, as the city offers everything you can dream of, culture, shopping, nightlife, and great restaurants.

One of my favorite hotels to stay is THE LANESBOROUGH that belongs to the Oetker Collection. Perfectly positioned between Knightsbridge and Mayfair, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London’s exclusive Sloane Street, this grand mansion overlooking Hyde Park Corner has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. I love having breakfast in the room… the first thing that makes my day…

One of my favorites in London is tea time which is served at the hotel’s «Withdrawing Room».
