Gucci’s recent kids collection has got a very cute addition: Sunglasses for children. Designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini, those shades are the perfect accessories for the mini trendsetters. For boys and girls, from 7 years on (150 CHF each).
I am sure that the kids will love the little teddybear logo that is located inside of the frame.

Here is my fifth and final look from the LuisaViaRoma Total Styling Lab. This time I focused on the maxi trend and gave my look some romantic touches by adding a bow belt that I tied around my waist and the cute straw hat.
Nothing epitomises chic summer dressing like a ground skimming dress paired with flat sandals.

For summer many designers focused on the midi length. As mid calf is for most women a critical point (you really have to be very tall and ultra-skinny), it seems all natural that the maxi length was spotted on many runways, too. Having a bohemian,`70s inspired feel, the creations were to die for!
Flowing maxi gowns ripple and float around the body, revealing as much as they conceal. Billowing slash-front skirts show off legs from top to toe, no tights allowed. This is sex appeal to the max!

Giuseppe Zanotti with me
Giuseppe Zanotti’s S/S 2011 ad campaign makes me dream of sunny weather, the beach and the ocean. No wonder as a vacation getaway in St. Barts served as inspiration for it. Sensual and sizzling fashion model, Anja Rubik is the face of the gorgeous campaign that was photographed by iconic duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Ladies, better start getting in shape now…

All those beautiful shoes are already available or can be pre-ordered. Which one is your favourite?

Mint green is a pale pastel tint of spring green. It is a blossoming shade full of energy and one of the It-colours for S/S 2011.
Worn tone on tone, it makes you shine full of radiance and completely refreshing, like one of those first days in spring. Alexander Wang is among the forerunners of this trend.

Below you can find a perfect mint green outfit ready to order:

Gentlemen, you are in this as well. Mint green is a must for you this summer!

Kate Perry is probably the celebrity nail icon thanks to her eye catching nail designs so it only seems natural that a brand like OPI collaborates with her. Launched this January, the collection has totally wowed me.
Inspired by Katy’s cutting edge style and latest album, Teenage Dream, there are four different shades, including a duo-chrome (Not Like The Movies), sparkly red (The One That Got Away) and two glitters (Last Friday Night is blue and Teenage Dream is pink).
Complementing Katy’s nail trend for OPI, a revolutionary Black Shatter formula accompanies the look to create a cracked pattern when applied over each dried bright lacquer. This special top coat is just amazing, check out how my manicure looks like with it below.

I am wearing two layers of Teenage Dream and one layer of Black Shatter.
By the way interesting to know. OPI is a 3-Free (no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP) brand since 2008. You can identify an OPI with the 3-Free formula by the green lettering on the label. Bottles with black text have the old formula. The Kate Perry by OPI collection is completely 3-Free.

I am so in love with Lanvin’s pieces this season. This flower embellished T-shirt dress works so well for many different occasions. The details are breathtaking. It is comfy and stylish in one.
Team it with bright ballerina flats and a little cross over bag for a pretty day look that transforms into the perfect party outfit. You can order this summer must-haves by clicking on the links below.

Jimmy Choo has collaborated with the Dynamo Camp to create the design for a limited edition pair of shoes.
With the help of the amazing creativity of the children at The Dynamo Camp, the limited edition snake skin peep toe sandal is vibrantly coloured and comes with a leopard printed lining.
The renowned Italian illustrator, Beppe Giacobbe, worked with the children to create and paint their shoe by telling them a story about a very special shoe brand that offer the most beautiful shoes in the world for the stars of stage and screen. The excited kids created 14 different imaginative designs of which one was selected and has been produced for sale as a special limited edition which will be available to purchase at Milan, Rome and online at www.jimmychoo.com.
100% of the profit from the sale of the limited edition shoes directly benefitting the charity. (To learn more about the Dynamo Camp, please click here.)
Shopping for a good cause! Two thumbs up!

I am completely in love with Miu Miu’s S/S 2011 womenswear collection and the campaign that evokes the spirit of performance and stage.
Models Querelle Jansen, Sasha Pivovarova and Kasia Struss were photographed in London by renowned duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, styled in the manner of barely breathing mannequins, all slicked back hair and crimson mouths.
Far from passive, however, it wouldn’t be Miuccia Prada if there wasn’t a message and this time it is her reflection on a society that is obsessed with celebrity.

Inspired by on-screen costume, flower, flame, snake and star prints are re-invented to suitably stylised effect. It is a study of feminity that is as playfully inventive as it is alluring.
To support this idea, Miu Miu presents the “Miu Miu Women’s Tales”, a series of short movies directed by international female filmmakers that explore their fantasies about the brand.

The first one has been directed by Zoe Cassavetes (Broken English) and is called “The Powder Room”, an enchanting and dramatic short film set in London’s Claridges hotel.
It is a beautiful how Zoe Cassavetes were able to capture the luxury codes of the Miu Miu universe. I especially like her close-ups. To view the movie, click here.
The next directors will be announced soon. Another interesting approach to adverstising and communicating a brand. But as always, Miuccia is leading the way…
