The tin can, the Jean Paul Gaultier’s signature in stainless steel, receives a summer make-over in a striking metallic blue for Popeye and a powdery pink for Betty Boop. The most everyday object revolutionized by the fragrance world hides an innate ability to disguise itself as a can of spinach. Even the label is there. Popeye won’t even notice!

Classique Eau Fraîche
The fragrance: a torrid, sugar syrup. An unusual blend assembled around white flowers created by perfumer Daphné Bugey.

ORIENTAL FLORAL
Top notes: Lemon sorbet, ginger and sugar cane juice
Middle notes: Exotic tara, jasmine and orange blossom
Base notes: Vanilla, musk and neo-labdanum

Ginger, indivisible from Classique, is found as an overdose of gourmand: crystalline, reminiscent of a lemon sorbet; sharp, yes, but sweetened with sugar cane juice. Sugar cane, with a sensual edge from the Labdanum Neo. Vanilla is also present. But musk has the final word and rushes to let the brain know we’ll be back for more. Eaux Fraiches smell of lazy summers: “Oh my – You smell so nice“!

The first days of spring, this is a time I truly adore. Here you see me on my way to a spring picnic with friends. Bohemian, hippy style has been all the rage lately. I have always been a huge fan of long floral dresses, perfect for the change of the seasons.

My look: Leather-trimmed shearling gilet, printed silk-chiffon dress, lace-up suede knee boots, studded leather belt and Monogram fringed shoulder bag, all by Saint Laurent, «Dior Split» sunglasses by Dior, earrings and cocktail ring, both by Chanel.

Below you can enjoy GUCCI’s new campaign for pre-fall 2016, photographed by Glen Luchford. The photos are set in a glass-domed tropical aviary where wild plants and wandering flamingos move freely across patterned rugs and among piles of old books. The images portray an energetic, emotional, surreal riot of colours, textures and movement, recalling the spirit of many of the House’s new flora and fauna-based prints. In this chaotic and cluttered wonderland, more is definitely more. My mantra!

Personally speaking, I am drooling over the pink Sylvie bag, the cat embellished sweaters and shiny pleated skirts. Another collection that is to die for!

This summer, nobody can say they couldn’t find a cool «Fourth of July» outfit to show their patriotism. All the facets of American stars-and-stripes flags and their iconic colors were seen on the S/S 2016 runways. Finally we can show our love for the US with style in cashmere and not in a cheap polyester costume. I am totally hooked.

AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!

Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.
