Recently I spent for the first time one day in snowy Arosa in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is a famous winter tourist resort and I was curious to explore it.

Oversized sweaters worn as dresses add a certain coolness to your look. I couldn’t resist Christopher Kane’s “Lovers’ lace” – entwining bodies in coral and cream lace, that are inspired by life drawing lessons. Worn on the F/W 2015 runway, this oversized style is woven from a luxurious blend of wool and cashmere guaranteed to keep me warm when the weather cools here in Zurich.

The last days I travelled quite a lot through Switzerland, from Zurich to Zuoz, from St. Moritz to Gstaad, always amazed by the beauty of the country I am living in.

Today is Swiss National Day and I am so happy to celebrate this holiday with friends and fireworks. August 1st is to the Swiss what July 4th is to Americans, or July 14th to the French. This day was chosen because August 1st 1291 was the date on which three Alpine cantons swore the oath of confederation, an act which later came to be regarded as the foundation of Switzerland.

Here you see me in the picturesque town of Zuoz in the upper Engadin last Saturday.
My look: Tweed jacket and shoulder bag, both from the Paris – Dallas collection, sneakers and «Blow in Case of Fashion Emergency» necklace, all by Chanel, distressed grey jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, cotton-jersey T-shirt by Saint Laurent and aviator-style metal sunglasses by Gucci.

Right now I am in Gstaad, situated in the Berner Oberland. Long known for its walking and hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty, the mountain air and ambiance is just lovely, especially when the sun is shining. Today I went for a hike around Lake Lauenen, which is the epitome of a perfect mountain idyll as you can see.

My look: Black cotton parka by Balmain, stretch-jersey leggings by Splendid, washed-silk camisole by Equipment, long grey belted cotton shirt by Prada, zebra-print calfskin hiking boots by Prada Sport, Twilly silk scarf by Hermès, sunglasses «Sidereal 2» in pink by Dior and rose diamond necklace by Piaget.

Looking at those pictures, I have to admit that I am becoming a little homesick. Before I left for China, I was invited by a lovely friend to join a chocolate party at the LINDT factory in Kilchberg, Switzerland. You can rent the chocolate studio for 20 people and more to create some yummy treats.

The Maîtres Chocolatiers, real masters of their craft, were welcoming our group and helped us to make a LINDT chocolate bear and some amazing pralines. Every single detail counts when it comes to creating the finest chocolate and I had a real blast decorating my sweets. Bon appétit!
