Prada announces the twelfth installment of its Timecapsule NFT Collection. Featuring a yellow and grey design in the style of a tank-top, the drop on May 4th continues Prada’s expansion into the Web3 community.

This drop celebrates the one-year anniversary of Prada’s NFT Timecapsule collection. Through this journey, Prada is creating a unique experience that combines its rich heritage and creativity with innovative technology and utilizing archived materials to provide a phygital experience for collectors. Over the last year, the Prada Crypted community were offered opportunities to attend exclusive experiences, such as trips to their fashion week shows in Milan and invitations to cultural events such as Prada Extends and Prada Mode. For drop #41 of the Timecapsule collection, Prada crafted a tank top in grey and yellow striped technical fabric with striped monochrome knit borders featuring the iconic Prada enameled triangle logo and the name of the month transferred on the back. Each shirt comes accompanied with its own gifted NFT, serving as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community on Discord.

Prada continues to create unique experiences for its community, with members receiving an invite to attend the ninth iteration of Prada Mode in Tokyo on May 12th and 13th 2023. This event will see the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum transformed into a space where the guests can explore art in different forms and experience the historic architecture, the museum and the site-specific artworks, curated by Kazuyo Sejima – architect and a long-term collaborator of Prada.

Prada announces the eleventh installment of their Timecapsule NFT Collection. Featuring a brand new design and in the style of a tank-top, the drop on April 6th continues Prada’s expansion into the Web3 community.

For drop #40 of the Timecapsule collection, Prada is offering the first of three unisex tank tops, inspired by the style of a basketball jersey, made with upcycled fabrics from the Prada archive. The April piece is a two-tone satin tank top in elegant and sophisticated colors, with multicolored knit borders made of silk yarns. Each shirt comes accompanied with its own gifted NFT, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.

Prada continues to give behind-the-scenes opportunities as they offer Prada Crypted Discord community members access to unique events and experiences. For this April drop, Prada is inviting one fortunate NFT holder to attend Prada Frames in Milan on April 17th, 18th and 19th within the framework of the Salone del Mobile. Prada announces the tenth installment of their Timecapsule NFT Collection. The drop on March 2nd, which is the final release in a three-part series of shirts, features special prints by Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini from his archives of the 1960s’ and 1970s’.

Titled INTERFERENZA OTTICA ART PRINT BY ENZO RAGAZZINI, 1969, the March shirt will feature a design made in 1969 for the Enzo Ragazzini exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London (ICA) with the optical interference technique, using mechanical devices of his own invention (the «rotating plane» for the circular patterns and the «rotating drum» for horizontal ones). This work was then digitized in 2017.

The shirt is in popeline, featuring the Prada enameled triangle logo with «MARCH» transferred on the back of the shirt. Each shirt comes accompanied by its own gifted NFT, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.

Prada is continuing to expand their Web3 community to those who purchased a Prada Timecapsule prior to the NFT initiative, launched back in June 2022. First launched in December 2019 and now marking its 39th iteration, Timecapsule collection holders can claim their own Timecapsule NFT, in sync with their existing physical product. The latest NFT drop is #38 in the Timecapsule collection. This is the second, in a three-part series of shirts featuring special prints by Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini from his archive from the 70s’.

The latest NFT drop is #37 in the Timecapsule collection. Kicking off the new year, the first three months will present a series of shirts featuring special prints by Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini from his archive from the late 60s’ and early 70s’.

Prada announces the seventh installment of the Timecapsule NFT Collection. On December 1st, in celebration of the festive season, there will be an exclusive holiday drop of a gender neutral sweater along with a gifted NFT.

The latest NFT drop is #36 in the Timecapsule collection. Reimagining the traditional holiday themed sweater, the primary colours will be red and white, with black stripes visible on the bottom and on the cuffs. The Merino wool sweater is made with a special Norwegian jacquard knitting technique, while the PRADA logo and DECEMBER lettering featured on the sweater are made with an embroidery technique.

As with previous drops, Prada wants to continue to offer exclusive opportunities for their Web3 community. Timecapsule NFT holders will have the opportunity to gain access to exclusive events and experiences including invitations to special events such as Prada Extends and Prada Mode, which are held around the world. NFT holders from the first six drops will be in with an exclusive chance to attend Prada Extends Miami on the sidelines of Art Basel 2022. Earlier this month, previous NFT holders had the opportunity to attend the eighth iteration of Prada Mode, a traveling social club that provides members with a unique art experience along with music, dining and conversations, which featured an installation by artist Damien Hirst in Dubai.

The Timecapsule drop is an online monthly event that takes place on the first Thursday of every month. Limited quantities of the Timecapsule Collection products are made available for 24 hours. Each limited-edition Timecapsule item has its own unique serial number (limited to 50 pieces) and is prepared for delivery with custom packaging. By purchasing the Timecapsule, customers will be able to redeem the related NFT. With this process, Prada maintains consistency and harmony between the exclusivity of the Prada Timecapsule and the rarity of the corresponding NFTs.

Each NFT includes the drop serial number and the serial number for its accompanying physical item, so there is a direct relationship between the physical and virtual products. NFT owners are eligible to participate in exclusive benefits and experiences, as well as gain priority access to future drops.

Prada Timecapsule NFTs are issued on Ethereum infrastructure, offering a secure and user-friendly experience. The Aura Blockchain Consortium provides the underlying NFT solutions and technology.

Prada announces the sixth drop in its Timecapsule NFT Collection and invites members of its Timecapsule community to register for the exclusive upcoming Prada Mode event to be held in Dubai and Prada Extends event at Art Basel Miami.

On November 3, Prada will launch a further exclusive drop of new limited-edition shirts crafted using upcycled materials from Prada’s archive. This time, Prada has taken style inspiration from the 1970s: November’s shirt is a Prada reinterpretation of typical 70s-style patchwork shirts revised in a modern key with upcycled denim from the Prada Archives.

Each fabric has been pre-washed and treated separately to achieve different shades before assembling. Once assembled, the shirt was washed again to amalgamate the different treatments and complete the finished look. The shirt features characteristics typically used in denim clothes, including a hazelnut color yarn and cuts that fray with washing, alongside modern Prada details such as metal snap buttons and the classic triangle logo. While all are made in the same way, the various treatments in combination with the denim aging process over time give further rarity to the garment.

The shirt features a transfer on the back with the words «NOVEMBER» and the «UPCYCLE» patch. Each shirt comes accompanied by its own gifted NFT, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.

Following the unique Giveaway Experience to one lucky Timecapsule NFT holder at the Prada S/S 2023 Show in Milan in September, Prada is pleased to announce upcoming experiences of which Timecapsule NFT holders will be invited to attend.

On November 9 and 10, 2022, Prada will host in Dubai the eighth iteration of Prada Mode, featuring an installation by artist Damien Hirst – an exclusive event open to Prada Timecapsule community members. A traveling social club with a focus on contemporary culture, Prada Mode provides members with a unique art experience along with music, dining, and conversations.

On December 1, Prada Extends moves to the much-anticipated Art Basel in Miami where Timecapsule NFT Holders will be given the opportunity to attend the exclusive live event. Curated by British-born, Canadian-raised electronic musician and Prada collaborator Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman, Prada Extends is focused on and designed for creatives in different hubs around the world and interconnects like-minded figures, encapsulating the identity of each locale and its creative community.

Registration for both events will be available within the «Experiences» section inside the Prada Discord Channel. All information on the RSVP process is shared with community members on the Prada Discord Channel.

The Timecapsule opens for 24 hours on the first Thursday of every month. During the sale, a limited number of Timecapsule Collection items are available in selected markets on prada.com. Prior to delivery, Prada gives each item a unique serial number before wrapping the item in custom packaging. Upon receipt, the customers can redeem their NFT using their unique serial number.

The NFT features details of the drop, including the serial number for the accompanying physical item, establishing a connection between the digital and the physical products. Therefore, Prada customers can be assured that the rarity of their NFT corresponds to the exclusivity of their Timecapsule purchase. Timecapsule Collection NFT owners are part of a new group of Prada customers eligible to participate in exclusive activities and experiences. Prada Timecapsule NFTs are created using Ethereum blockchain infrastructure, meaning they are secure and accessible. Prada collaborates with the Aura Blockchain Consortium, which provides the underlying technology.

Today the fifth drop of the Prada Timecapsule new series will be launched on prada.com – at 3pm CET – for 24 hours only. This time it is my favorite so far! Prada Timecapsule is an exclusive product drop of 50 items, occurring once a month, each first Thursday.

For this new drop, Prada Timecapsule presents a classic popeline boxy shirt, one of Prada’s wardrobe essentials, inspired by the ’80s in a mix of stylistic codes from the world of skateboarding and animalier prints. The Prada logo is reinterpreted on the front of the item, while the triangle bearing the month of the drop stands out on the back.
