My Look: Windy

Mykonos is also known as the «Island of the Winds». Indeed, Mykonos can be extremely windy. It is rare to find windless days in the islands but thankfully I was not affected unduly. However, of course, the day when we shot several looks, the wind was extreme as you can see.

I love this black and white look by Jacquemus. The label is the brainchild of Simon Porte Jacquemus, a thirtysomething designer‚ who is gaining more and more in popularity. His key to success? An innate ability to create viral hits and to quickly convert new collections into revenue at a price point unheard of in luxury fashion.

My look: Baci cropped gathered organic cotton-jersey T-shirticon, and Draio cutout shell midi skirticon, by Jacquemus, LV Link square sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, Niki mini studded quilted textured-leather shoulder bag by Saint Laurent, and quilted leather mulesicon by Bottega Veneta.

My Look: Sporty in Crete

Hello from Crete! Finally I am on «real» vacation, which means for me, no make-up, curly hair, lots of sports, reading and sleeping. I am staying at the Blue Palace Resort, located between the small fishing village of Plaka and the increasingly chic port of Elounda in one of their Island Luxury Suites, that features a private pool, and a beautiful spacious outdoor area. I have barely left my room so far and exercised on my terrace in this fucking fanastic outfit!

My look: Pralù cropped embellished ribbed-knit cardigan, Valensole ribbed-knit braletteicon, and Arancia ribbed-knit shortsicon, all by Jacquemus, Double-Up hat, and Fucking Fantastic socks, all by Ayda, and Balenciaga Triple S sneaker by Balenciaga x adidas.

My Look: Summer Time

Color blocking at its best with Hublot‘s new Big Bang Unico Summer Purple watch. It’s summer in the city and vibrant colors are trending. Matching your watch to your look is the ultimate style goal. I personally love the combination of lime green and fuchsia. An unexpected mixture, that feels fresh and modern.

My look: Marino crepe double-breasted blazer, Limao cropped crepe halterneck topicon, Meloia paneled neon canvas straight-leg pantsicon, and Notte embellished satin shirt, all by Jacquemus, The Mini Twist knotted leather clutch by Bottega Venetaicon, fuchsia suede Tribute sandals by Saint Laurent, and Big Bang Unico Summer Purple by Hublot.

My Look: The Cape-Sleeve Coat

A cape-sleeve coat is one of the most practical items you can have in your wardrobe as it always leaves enough space for your sleeves, especially when they are more voluptuous. This coat features powerful cape-like sleeves and a unique sculptural belted silhouette.

My look: Cape-sleeve belted Milano coat by Max Maraiconpaneled cotton-terry and jersey bi-color sweatshirt, and matching paneled cotton-terry and jersey track pants, pink chain-embellished leather slippers, all by JW Anderson, Playboy Lips appliqué canvas book clutch by Olympia Le Tan, shell chain necklace by Jacquemus, and Carrera Automatic Chronograph by TAG Heuer.

Trending: Half-Zip Sweater

This knitwear piece should definitely be on your fall shopping list: the half-zip sweater. I promise, it will add instant cozy to your wardrobe.

Half-zip sweaters are simultaneously effortless and polished, and the best part is they come in a range of colors and textures across all budgets. I love eye-catching details like oversized collars or ribbed waists. Ahead, my favorites of half-zip sweaters to shop now. Enjoy!

My Look: Pink Is My Color

Truth is, I love everything pink. It is such a powerful color. Pink comprises pop culture and fashion, playfulness and girlhood. It can be innocent and not so innocent, luxurious and tacky. This weekend, I am feeling like floating on a pink cloud because it is my birthday. Therefore I have prepared this post as I will indulge in my special day and take some time off.

My look: La Veste Esterel jacket, matching Valerie cutout woven midi skirticon, Le Haut Pampelonne bralette, and Riviera frayed cotton pumpsicon, all by Jacquemus, small flap bag with top handle by CHANEL, Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ringicon by Gucci Fine Jewellery, and Pasha C chronograph in steel (2000) by Cartier.

My Look: Thousand in One Ways Sweater

In January I told you about this must-have sweater for fall the first time (click here for the previous post). Rosie Assoulin‘s «Thousand In One Ways» sweater is named for its seemingly endless styling options – the sleeves can be shrugged off your shoulders, knotted neatly around your waist or detached completely, which turns it into a cropped camisole. It’s been cable-knitted in Italy from a luxuriously soft blend of wool and cotton and has a relaxed fit.

To shop click on the highlighted product description.

My look: Thousand in One Ways convertible cropped cable-knit wool and cotton-blend sweatericon by Rosie Assoulin, Albi ribbed-knit stirrup leggings by Jacquemus, Fiona sandals by The Attico, Diana leather-trimmed printed suede tote by Gabriela Hearst,  GG jacquard pastel shawl by Gucci, and cat eye frame glasses a tortoiseshell effect by Tom Ford.

My Look: World Oceans Day

As announced in yesterday’s post, today is World Oceans Day, the United Nations day for celebrating the role of the oceans in our everyday life and inspiring action to protect the ocean and sustainably use marine resources. We can all do something for the environment. Even if you are not close to an ocean, you can make an effort to keep your local shores clean. This also works around Lake Zurich. Don’t forget, small acts can make a huge impact.

Today, in honor of this special day, I am wearing a look from Mary Katrantzou‘s beautiful Mary Mare collection. This shell print couldn’t be a better fit.

As the LA MER Blue Heart mission will donate $25 to the LA MER Blue Heart Oceans fund for each public post that will use #LaMerBlueHeart and #LaMerDonation together, I will surely post a picture to Instagram. The power of the sea lives within us all. Therefore I kindly invite you to also share your connection with the Earth’s ocean…

My look: Mary Mare Firenze shell-print linen midi dress by Mary Katrantzou, matching trainers in orange shells by Superga x Mary Katrantzou, Valensole raffia haticon by Jacquemus, embellished woven straw tote by Rosie Assoulin, silver necklace with shells iconby Prada, and cat-eye marbled-acetate sunglasses by Gucci.

My Look: Unchained

In order to prepare for the future, you need to unchain yourself from the strictures of the past. Let the past help and inform you; just don’t let it hold you back. Take control of your world to get your smile back. In terms of fashion, opt for different looks, mix and be creative until you find your match. As Sir Richard Branson once said: «You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.» For this outfit, I unchained myself from the rules and mixed and matched in all ways possible and I love the unexpected outcome.

My look: Eiderdown coat, and Viola floral-printed silk dressicon, both by Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Le Chiquito mini leather tote by JacquemusiconStudwrap leather pumpsicon by Valentino, leather bandana, leather belt, and hoop earrings, all by CHANEL.
