«It’s all about the jacket! The jacket is a parka, a caban and a hoodie, always a blazer, it’s a suit, it could be a vest, a débardeur, a qipao and a redingote, a dress and even a gown.» – Albert Kriemler
AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!
Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.
My look: Brighton grey kalgan lamb cropped jacket
, Valentin grey leather vest and thin grey sweater, all by Akris, Lady Buckle light olive green leather top handle bag
and olive green leather leggings, both by Gucci, Paris laced ankle boots in earth suede
by Saint Laurent, sunglasses by Céline, colorful bracelet by Louis Vuitton and clip on cuff earrings by Dior.

«Believe you can and you are halfway there.»

I wore those Chloé pieces to the PKZ party last Thursday in Zurich. You can call them already vintage as they are from 2007. Wine improves with age and some clothes do as well. I remember buying them on a trip with a girlfriend to Paris before I started my blog. I believed I could and I did. Never give up, be kind and always believe in yourself, that’s the recipe! And of course don’t be stuck, always add something new… in this case the bag and the boots.
My look: Curry colored short jacket, ruffled white blouse and jumpsuit, all by Chloé, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino
and Soho mini textured-leather shoulder bag by Gucci and earrings by Miu Miu.

Mid February, St. Moritz hosted for the first time a Swiss Red Cross Gala, also marking the 150th anniversary of this institution. In celebration of this great cause, the iconic White Turf tent was supposed to be the stunning location on the frozen lake to welcome over 300 guests from the business, economic, political and cultural worlds. Unfortunately due to the warm weather conditions, the event had to shift to Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

My look: Patchwork lace peplum gown by Alessandra Rich, Janis leather pumps by Saint Laurent, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery, ice cube bag and pearl earrings, both by Chanel.

The evening’s theme was: «clean water for every day». The gala’s proceeds will therefore go towards helping the victims of forgotten disasters and the water program in Nepal.
Clean drinking water and functioning sewage treatment systems are things we take for granted in Switzerland. They are part of our lives. However, the daily lives of well over 700 million people around the world are very different. They have no access to even a minimum of clean water.

While you are reading this post, I am in the plane on my way to Los Angeles with Piaget for the Independent Spirit Awards and many more adventures. Last year’s outfit for this outstanding ceremony can easily translate into 2016 with those amazing little creatures on the skirt. Don’t forget – it is the year of the monkey. Delpozo
is a brand to watch as the house combines couture techniques with a contemporary silhouette for a thoroughly elegant allure.
My look: Black organza top and monkey print relief effect jacquard skirt, both by Delpozo, satin clutch by Prada, Janis suede platform pumps by Saint Laurent, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring and Mediterranean Garden earrings, all by Piaget, diamond ring and bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Earrings in 18K white gold set with 84 baguette-cut diamonds (approx. 8.20 cts), 26 marquise-cut diamonds (approx. 5.55 cts), 2 marquise-cut emeralds (approx. 1.45 cts), 2 cushion-cut green tourmalines (approx. 2.83 cts), 2 cushion-cut emeralds (approx. 2.62 cts), 1 round green tourmaline (approx. 0.26 ct) and 1 round emerald (approx. 0.22 ct).
Aren’t these earrings absolutely amazing? Cannot wait to choose my jewelry for this year’s Spirit Awards. Stay tuned!

Some of my readers might recognize this dress and the clutch as well as the coat, but you have never seen me wearing it together. I love when I spot great new combinations in my closet. Sometimes we think we desperately need something new and forget about all the treasures hidden in our wardrobes. Happy searching!
My look during Haute Couture Week in Paris in the end of January: Soft pink mink coat with flower intarsia and red leather boots, both by Prada, Aubine embellished satin-twill dress and Falabella crystal-embellished faux leather clutch, both by Stella McCartney, heart earrings by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Would be a lovely Valentine’s Day outfit as well…

Dressing in winter when going out is always a hassle. If you wear heavy outerwear, you will be stuck at the coat check or if you try to go light, you will be freezing the whole evening. Therefore winter layers are the way to go. Here you see me past Wednesday in Paris when leaving for Jean Paul Gaultier’s private dinner during couture week. The trick is to layer without bulking up and to stay stylish even in cold temperatures. A cape is a great way to wear even the most voluptuous sleeves. And in the end, when I went on the dance floor, I just left the light black ensemble …
My look: Tweed military cape by Balmain, black ruffled tulle top and matching pants, by Jean Paul Gaultier Soleil, long blouse with black bows
and padlock mini studded leather shoulder bag, both by Alexander McQueen,
cutout leather platform pumps by Saint Laurent, pearl earrings by Chanel and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
