I am not a fan of those typical costumes for Halloween, poorly produced, made out of horrible materials, they create waste and are bad for the environment. Luckily, many Halloween costumes can be easily created just from the clothes in your closet and common household items.
Think of one of your favorite iconic movie characters and dress like them. If you have a lot of pink in your closet, then you can probably pull off an Elle Woods or become a Barbie girl (think of the latest Valentino Pink PP collection). Or be a «Queen of Hearts». Put on a long preferably red dress and find your household deck of cards for this easy DIY costume. Just attach some cards with safety pins and off you go. The easiest way is to play with make-up and accessories such as a pair of funky boots and stockings, top it off with a little flour in your hair to make it wiry and wild, and carry around your kitchen broom or your Dyson.
Personally speaking, I always put together costumes with pieces from my own closet. However, I know that my wardrobe is huge and I have many items that scream «dress up» already. Here some of my designer outfits that would be perfect for Halloween! Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana along with Prada are the brands that offer the easiest take on fashion with humor. Feathers in Paris – nothing more chic than that. Personally speaking, I associate them with Old Hollywood glamour. Feathers in fashion are nothing new. However, this year they have been popping up everywhere. These days, the latest plumed styles feel so much more casual and sophisticated. You can just wear them to lunch as I did with KILIAN …
My look: Feather-trimmed stretch-knit playsuit
, St. Sulpice black pumps, Lou mini quilted textured-leather shoulder bag
, gold-tone, enamel and faux pearl clip earrings, feather choker necklace, and black monogram croc-embossed leather belt, all by Saint Laurent, and logo embellished stockings by CHANEL.

The photos were taken at one of my favorite hotels in Paris: La Maison des Champs Elysées.

Here is the outfit that I wore for the first night to celebrate Kilian‘s 15th anniversary in Paris. The dress code for the three-day extravaganza? Don’t be shy! You don’t need to tell me twice.
My look: Black playsuit in double black sablé, cropped python and leather jacket, and suede-trimmed crystal-embellished fishnet knee boots
, all by Saint Laurent, Constance 18 Mini noir black alligator mat with lizard buckle by Hermès, leather, faux pearl and crystal choker
, and silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings, both by
Alessandra Rich.

Fall is coming and you can feel it everywhere. The colors change and the layers multiply. I love to mix and match old and new pieces. Going through my closet and browsing through my pieces, is something I absolutely enjoy. After the warm season, your personal winter wardrobe always feels kind of new again.
My look: Sequined crepe trench coat
by Balmain, Alex metallic leather knee-high boots by Alexandre Vauthier, vintage metallic rose pink lambskin leather motorcycle city bag by Balenciaga, black and white tweed jumpsuit (S/S 2020 Look 8), tweed cap, and pearl earrings (Métiers d’Art 2015 Paris – Salzburg), all by CHANEL.

I am already missing summer so much that I want to show you one of my favorite looks shot at the beach of the Blue Palace Elounda hotel in Crete. In the background you can see the small island Spinalonga. It is actually a pretty creepy place, also known as the Leper Island, as that is where Greek lepers were quarantined until 1957.
My look is very colorful. The sunglasses are from the recent Loewe F/W 2022 collection. I adore the inflated style, it feels new. The Maison’s broken egg sandals are definitely a piece for the museum – I am completely obsessed. My bucket bag is from The Collector, a Geneva based brand, that is specialized in high end bags, preferably in exotic leathers.
My look: Lola cropped tie-front paneled linen top
, matching Lola belted paneled linen midi skirt, and fringed faux raffia sunhat, all by Zimmermann, Broken egg sandals, and inflated oversized square-frame acetate sunglasses
, both by Loewe, coral earrings by Oscar de la Renta, and bucket bag by The Collector.

Pink and burgundy – an unexpected color combination I absolutely adore. It feels sophisticated and different. The play between the lighter pink and darker burgundy provides quite the grounding contrast and when worn together it ensures you’ll turn heads everywhere you go.
My look: Concert leather-trimmed wool-blend coat
, and Concert printed silk twill shirt dress, both by Zimmermann, VLOGO leather shoulder bag in pink, and Tan-Go patent leather platform pumps, both by Valentino, Dynasty oversized geometric-frame sunglasses by Balenciaga, and clip earrings by CHANEL (Métiers d’Art 2012 Paris – Bombay).

The Voiles de St. Tropez is one of the most prestigious regattas in the Mediterranean. Both ultramodern yachts and rare wooden yachts participate in it. This year, it takes place between September 24, 2022 until October 8, 2022. However, I have a dilemma as everything happens at the same time. Paris Fashion Week and Zurich Film Festival are also on my schedule, as well as my sister’s wedding. It is also the end of summer and I would love to stroll again through the tiny streets of St. Tropez in this floral combination as I did in July.
My look: Belted jumpsuit with floral poppy print, frayed floppy floral linen hat, and poppy print silk scarf, all by Zimmermann, heart shape bag, logo printed sandals with 100mm heel, and long logo earrings, all by CHANEL.

Mykonos is also known as the «Island of the Winds». Indeed, Mykonos can be extremely windy. It is rare to find windless days in the islands but thankfully I was not affected unduly. However, of course, the day when we shot several looks, the wind was extreme as you can see.
I love this black and white look by Jacquemus. The label is the brainchild of Simon Porte Jacquemus, a thirtysomething designer‚ who is gaining more and more in popularity. His key to success? An innate ability to create viral hits and to quickly convert new collections into revenue at a price point unheard of in luxury fashion.
My look: Baci cropped gathered organic cotton-jersey T-shirt
, and Draio cutout shell midi skirt
, by Jacquemus, LV Link square sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, Niki mini studded quilted textured-leather shoulder bag by Saint Laurent, and quilted leather mules
by Bottega Veneta.

This is my outfit I wore to the Swiss premiere of Ticket to Paradise. A movie I can only recommend to watch. Julia Roberts and George Clooney play fantastically together, the plot is fun and you’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery. A rom-com at its best. To get tickets, click here.
As the movie plays on a tropical Indonesian island, I went for this fun outfit. Don’t you like my sunnies with the parrot?! In German we say «einen Vogel haben (to have a bird)» which means to be crazy. And yes, indeed, I am crazy for fashion!
My look: Patchwork print silk shirt, blue cropped top with logo, and matching blue pop stretch leggings, patchwork print platform sandals, tropical parrot sunglasses, Kendra straw basket with embroideries, oversized gold-tone, leather, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings
, and short necklace with patchwork details and rhinestones
, all by Dolce & Gabbana.

Reflecting the Italian temperament and lust for life like no other, I love PUCCI beachwear. Nothing beats a head-to-toe printed look. I absolutely adore when my bikini matches the outfit as shown here during my stay at the Blue Palace Resort in Crete. Brightly colored accessories, pink retro-inspired sunglasses, and fun rubber sandals, give the ensemble an exquisitely trendy note.
My look: Turquoise and pink printed jersey top, matching printed jersey pants, printed bikini top, and matching bikini bottoms, all by Emilio Pucci, DiorSignature B1U cat-eye acetate and gold-tone sunglasses by Dior
, GG buckled rubber sandals by Gucci
, Jodie mini knotted leather tote
by Bottega Veneta, and Oyster Perpetual 36 with a turquoise blue dial by Rolex.
