Layering is a great way to cope with the transition from summer to fall. Cardigans are great layering pieces because they add warmth when needed and they work well over dark or neutral summer dresses.

My look: Bi-colour fur vest by Louis Vuitton (available this season in a slightly different colour combination), printed dress and argyle belted cardigan, both by See by Chloé, fur bag by Céline, lace up ankle boots by Chloé, cuff by Stella McCartney, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joiallerie.

Who knew what a new hue can do?! I love this shade of blue so much and was so happy to see that Stella McCartney used this colour again for her S/S 2013 collection along with orange and green. Stay tuned for the upcoming post.

These photos were taken on my way to the Akris S/S 2013 show at the famous Place du Trocadéro, site of the Palais de Chaillot in the 16th arrondissement, where you are having a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower.

On the last day of Paris Fashion Week, my schedule was extremely tight and I didn’t have time to change my outfits in between. I went to the S/S 2013 presentations of Louis Vuitton, Talbot Runhof, Miu Miu and Elie Saab (posts coming up soon) before heading to the airport.

My colourful look for the day: Margerita wool-blend brocade coat, matching cropped pants and suede and snake-effect leather ankle boots, all by Miu Miu, hat by Louis Vuitton, bi-colour silk shirt by Céline and Muse Two bag by Yves Saint Laurent.

Pantsuits are a huge trend for F/W 2012 and personally speaking, I have loved the ones that Miuccia Prada designed for Miu Miu the most.

Outside I ran into Holli Rogers, Net-à-Porter’s Buying Director, who looked absolutely stunning in her leather and brocade dress by Christopher Kane along with the patent-leather pumps by Gucci.

Thursday night, during Paris fashion week, an extravagant party launched the AdR at H&M collection with theatrical flair. Hosted by H&M together with fashion icon Anna Dello Russo, the Paradise Ball took place in Paris famed cabaret nightclub Paradis Latin.

The glitzy party married fashion, performance and a live showcase by music star Azealia Banks. Staying true to AdR’s belief that fashion is something that makes you dream, the eccentric party was all about fantasy and decoration.
“Excess for me means success”, said the fashion icon.

Wigs and paper masks transformed the fashionable crowd all into Mini-Annas.

Cabaret-style “vogueing performances” as Anna described them, presented the collection in a very distinctive truly Parisian way.

My look: Powder gun dress by Mary Katrantzou, head piece by Christian Dior, pink bag by Lanvin and Tribtoo textured leather pumps by Yves Saint Laurent.

Friends and fashionistas, including Olivier Theyskens, Rachel Zoe, Poppy Delevingne, and super models Karlie Kloss, Constance Jablonski, and Liya Kebede among many others gathered to celebrate. There were so many famous people at the Paradis Latin as you can see below:

It was a very fun night, the Paradise Ball was such a glamorous way to launch such an eye-catching collection. The playful line of jewelry, shoes and accessories that Anna Dello Russo designed for H&M, will be on sale from October 4, 2012, in 140 stores worldwide and online. Below are some of my favourite pieces.

Since I bought my first pair of Valentino Rockstud kitten heels two years ago, I’ve been addicted to the house’s metal embellishments. So you can imagine my excitement when Valentino gifted me with this highly limited pair of Red on Red Rockstud shoes. It is as extraordinary as it looks. If there is one thing I hate, it is packing. And for Fashion Week, it is even worse. But with my new diamanté-embellished silk top by Moschino Cheap and Chic the message is pretty clear “only front row” please!

Tomorrow, I will be leaving for Paris. In the evening, I am invited to a real fashion shower: Anna dello Russo’s paradise ball to celebrate her collaboration with H&M that will be launching on October 4, 2012. Totally excited!

With Bobbi Brown, I spent a beautiful day in Munich for the launch of Bobbi’s seventh book:

And this is all what renowned makeup artist Bobbi Brown wants to achieve with her do-good attitude towards makeup: To make you feel “pretty powerful” and to be confident.

The tome includes stories in which the beauty guru hand picked celebrities, athletes, and everyday women to pose for before and after makeover shots plus tips how to eat healthy.
