An amazing cool capsule collection by denim cult brand CITIZENS OF HUMANITY, consisting of six pieces, has hit the virtual shelves of online retailer mytheresa.com. The lineup includes distressed denim as well as trucker jackets and slim-fitting jeans. Citizens of Humanity founder Jerome Dahan, women’s creative director Catherine Ryu and the mytheresa.com team were inspired by the heavy metal scene of the ’80s and early ’90s. To emphasize this source of inspiration, model Jessica Miller was photographed by her husband Lars Ulrich, drummer and founding member of cult band Metallica, wearing this exclusive capsule collection.

Since 1992 when it had been first inaugurated, World Oceans Day has been unofficially celebrated every June 8th until its official recognition by the United Nations in 2009. It is an annual observation to honour the world’s oceans, celebrate the products they provide such as seafood as well as marine life itself for aquariums, pets, and a time to appreciate its own intrinsic value.

Tom Ford has a history of beautiful summery scents and this new addiction doesn’t disappoint as well. SOLEIL BLANC embodies everything you might be looking for in a scent for warm temperatures. Every year, Jo Malone launches a limited edition blossom based fragrance for the summer months. So let me introduce you to the new Nashi Blossom Cologne. First of all, before virtually smelling it, how fun is the polka-dot adorned glass bottle and the flash of green bottle cap.

What is nashi blossom?
It is the fruit of a pear tree. Traditionally in East Asia the tree’s flowers are a popular symbol of early spring, and it is a common sight in gardens and the countryside. It is also called «Chinese pear».

How does the new fragrance smell?
The fragrance created by Fabrice Pellegrin is extremely yummy with a fresh citrusy opening, followed by a trail of pear, apple, nashi blossom and rose, all intermingled with a creamy musk base.
