J.W. Anderson‘s ‘PIERCE‘ bag is so popular it’s been reinvented in multiple colors and finishes. Those latest iterations are made for example from woven strips of leather to create a plaid effect or show a vibrant fish illustration created through cutting edge leather printing technology. All of them are punctuated with a signature barbell-embellished flap.
Established by Jonathan Anderson in 2008, JW Anderson is still a very young brand – surprisingly so because of its indisputably impressive standing within the fashion industry. Having been in existence for less than ten years, the brand has been on every editor’s, buyer’s and It girl’s radar for pretty much just as long. An intrinsically unique perspective on the very essence of fashion and clothing has set JW Anderson apart from the outset, helping it garner a cult-like following. A finely trodden middle ground between critical acclaim and commercial success soon caught the attention of LVMH, whose investment only serves to confirm that even greater things are to come from the Irish-born designer and his incomparable vision. Season after season, Anderson’s show is the “one to watch” for awe-inspiring innovation and statement looks that you never even knew you needed. He is also Creative Director at Loewe.
His newest must-have? During his S/S 2018 menswear show at Pitti Uomo, J.W. Anderson has unveiled his collaboration with Converse which is absolutely divine. It’s a match made in heaven. Jonathan Anderson loves Converse. He’s been wearing them for years. So when the brand approached him for a collaboration with his label JW Anderson, how could he say anything but yes… and present us with these glitter-coated unisex All Stars that are said to be available this fall.
I love J.W. Anderson’s designs and you?
LoL, Sandra

Looking for a stylish summer cover-up? Silk robe coats are the way to go, like a fashionable dream come true. Being both, extremely stylish and comfortable, they are perfect for this seemingly effortless genuine look. My favorite combination? Wearing it with a simple tank and my favorite jeans. This street-style approved trick often comes with billowing toppers that are inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos as seen on Attico designer, Giorgia Tordini, who proves that a silk bathrobe is best worn out of bed.
To keep it from skewing too boudoir, simply opt for a version with a bit more heft and wear it open, loosely cinched at the waist or with a leather belt. So before you reach for that bomber, biker or cargo jacket, consider the silk robe coats below.
The whole wearing pajamas as real-life, out-of-bed-clothes thing has been having an intense moment over the last couple of months, maybe for obvious reasons: when a trend prioritizes comfort and ease, it’s easy to get behind. And gentlemen you are in it, too! Jared Leto proves how gorgeous he looks in this embroidered patchwork reversible coatby Gucci.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of ‘Art in the Park‘ at the Baur au Lachotel and the tenth time it has been organised in collaboration with Galerie Gmurzynska. It is always a pleasure to visit the beautiful exhibition curated by Gigi Kracht. This year, some amazing artist were present such as Spanish Surrealist Joan Miró with a “supporting cast“ – Mel Ramos, Rotraut, Allen Jones, Silvester Stallone, Sophia Vari, and Louise Nevelson.
Exhibition is open to the public till August 4th, 2017.
After the fabulous and already iconic Knife boots and sequin-embellished satin pumps, Demna Gvasalia looks to Balenciaga‘s archives for inspiration for Pre-fall 2017, sifting through 30 years’ worth of founder Cristóbal‘s imagery. Exploring the link between couture and fetishism and set on a slanted kitten heel, these sharply pointed mules have been crafted in Italy from smooth satin and topped with a bow. The plunging vamp creates the illusion of longer, leaner legs. I prefer them in vivid jewel-tone colors.
Be fast as they are selling out like crazy and opt for one of the season’s most iconic silhouettes:
Last Friday afternoon, I was at the Lancôme press conference to learn more about the most beautiful upcoming collaboration hitting the shelves end of August 2017. Parisian fashion designer Olympia Le-Tan is joining forces with Lancôme to create a makeup collection that is full of vintage glam and sexiness.
STAR PRODUCT Olympia’s Wonderland Palette – CHF 109.00
In fact, Olympia Le-Tan‘s F/W 2017 collection is a lot of Hitchcock things. All of it is delightfully twisted and retro, those functional versions of vintage styles inspired by Hitchcock leading ladies are absolutely too die for, especially the beautiful iconic book clutches.
The designer was inspired by the director’s work while watching Vertigo on a plane. Her F/W 2017 mood board has been pinned with images of Alfred Hitchcock’s heroines – “his beautiful, powerful, strict and cold yet touching women were my starting point for this collection,” she explains.
Below you can see some of my favorite accessories of this collection – Happy Sunday!
And stay tuned – tomorrow I will show you another amazing collection by Olympia Le-Tan for the House of Lancôme…
Game-changing Korean design duoSTEVE J & YONI P strike a spunky balance between flirty frills and sporty thrills. Now, the couple introduces a M·A·C collection as cheeky and progressive as their fashion! Pinks, smoky-warm neutrals and playful, graphic packaging tap into the vibe of Seoul street style.
The last 48 hours I spent in beautiful and hot Florence for an event with Montblanc that I will tell you more about soon. At the moment the city is filled with fashionable people as it is Pitti Uomo: the most important international event for menswear and men accessories collections.

The name of the each city is embroidered on the back of the shoe; vivid colors, elastic bands and mini rouchesdetails create a unique and fashionable design.
Every model of Sneakers of the World will be available in the Emilio Pucci boutique of the related city from now while all models will be exclusively sold on the online flagship store.
What a pity that we don’t have a Pucci store in Zurich…
I love Disney connotations in fashion as seen at Marc Jacobs for example or Givenchy, but I truly adore a subtle way yet clearly referable form like those amazing Minnie Mouse inspired heels by Oscar Tiye. The label’s founders Amina Muaddi and Irina Curutz wanted to create the perfect shoe, “capable of expressing elegance and strength.”
The must-have sandals are punctuated with round appliqués at the back to resemble our favorite lady mouse. Made in Italy, each pair has a signature magenta lining and cushioned insole that ensures comfort. The cute heels come in different ways – good news is that most of them are now on sale.
