To celebrate 60 years of design, Chloé is releasing a capsule collection of its most popular styles. Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion and Jacques Lenoir, the label has seen many famous designers creating some of the iconic fashion styles, such as Karl Lagerfeld‘s Galaxie dress, Violon dress and Eventail clutch, Phoebe Philo‘s Camera bag, python boots, Silverado bag, paisley-print silk scarf, and wedge sandals, Stella McCartney‘s Ananas pineapple T-shirt and Hannah MacGibbon‘s shorts and cape.

Outside I ran into Holli Rogers, Net-à-Porter’s Buying Director, who looked absolutely stunning in her leather and brocade dress by Christopher Kane along with the patent-leather pumps by Gucci.

Natalie Massenet MBE is to be appointed Chairman of the British Fashion Council from 1st January 2013. Harold Tillman CBE will step down at the end of the year after completing an extended term as BFC Chair.

Natalie was approached to take up the position by the BFC’s Executive Board in recognition of her reputation for innovation and creativity at the helm of The Net-à-porter Group. The fact that as an entrepreneur she has built a globally recognised, award winning fashion business together with her strong international profile amongst media and retailers and her close relationships with both British designers and global luxury brands will all be vital to furthering the reputation and perception of the British Fashion Industry at home and around the world. Natalie’s new role will see her become spokesperson, figurehead and industry ambassador for the organisation; and alongside the board she will be tasked with continuing to grow the profile of the sector globally and the businesses within it.

Natalie will continue in her role as Executive Chairman of The Net-à-porter Group.

Personally speaking, I think that Natalie is the perfect filling of this post. I have admired her style since many years. Chairman of the British Fashion Council is an honorary role with an initial three year term.

And Kaiser Karl treats her like a princess!

Meet Choupette, his beloved kitten and fashion’s favourite feline. In a video promoting the second arrival of Karl by Karl Lagerfeld on Net-à-Porter in which the famous beauty finally speaks, is a must-see. In the end, the designer shows emotions when he kisses his princess with a purring sound.

For Chanel’s Haute Couture F/W 2012 Show “New Vintage”, Karl Lagerfeld presented the Choupette bag that does not have an official name but its soft material reminds Karl Lagerfeld of the texture of the coat of his cat, Choupette. Unfortunately, this bag will not be available in the Chanel boutiques but exclusively made to order, as it is the case for all the Haute Couture collections.

“I’m renowned for my love of a high collar and I wanted to create a true collector’s item,” says Karl Lagerfeld of his jewel-encrusted collar.

Fusing “the masculine with the feminine and uniting the world of fine jewelry and high fashion”, the designer’s spectacular collar is an extraordinary collector’s piece. Handcrafted from black suede, sparkling with pavé black diamonds and a single emerald- cut stone, produced exclusively for the Vogue UK jewelry editor Carol Woolton-curated Brilliant exhibition at Masterpiece, London, the capital’s luxury art and design fair, it will be on display from June 28th – July 4th. The piece will be accompanied by a hand-signed sketch from Mr Lagerfeld himself.

A percentage of profits from the sale will be donated to children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
