My Look: Mini Dress

My search for the perfect day to night dress was over when I found this gorgeous embellished one. Mini stands in this case for minimal dressing effort with a huge effect. This showstopper makes a sharp and chic style statement. Combined with my favorite clutch ever, the Chanel cigar box, I love wearing it around the clock.

My Look: Upgrade Your Chic

Upgrade your chic can be so easy, just add the right accessory and a black simple dress transforms into something even more glamourous. Here I added a multi-strand pearl body chain necklace to a classic gown that you had seen me wearing before (for the previous post click here please) for an unexpected touch.

I sported this look to a MONTBLANC event that was held under the red-lit dome of the iconic Rainbow Room inside Rockefeller Center. I had a great time while looking out at the spectacular views of New York – a city that is said to have been built on a pioneering spirit, just like MONTBLANC was over 110 years ago. The lavish party saw brand ambassador Hugh Jackman and other famous celebrities making an appearance. Enjoy my photos of the night.

My Look: Love Always London

Last week in London, I wore one of my favorite dresses by Mary Katrantzou. The so-called Knight dress draws inspiration from vintage 1960s ties. Its striped bodice opens to a pleated skirt decorated with an array of typical animal prints you would see on an Hermès tie. Have you ever thought of transforming your hubby’s old ties into something new for you?! Might be worth the thought… If you are wondering why I am wearing such chunky boots, it was raining cats and dogs.

The photos were taken in my beautiful Belgravia Suite at the COMO The Halkin. A hotel review will be coming up shortly.

My Look: Happy Valentine’s Day

I love Valentine’s Day and always enjoy prepping the ultimate outfit. While classic reds and pinks are a quintessential choice, I’m loving the subtle hearts and little pops of color. The unexpected message on the Dolce box bag will definitely steal your heart!

My Look: Birthday Fun

Last week was my birthday and I was so happy to be surrounded by my close girlfriends for a lunch break full of laughter, fun and great conversations. Time flew so fast… My girls surprised me with amazing gifts (they read my birthday wish list :-)) and I feel blessed to have such amazing women in my life. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special!

My Look: I Love Denim

I love denim as it is one of the most versatile fashion pieces available. A pair of jeans is just so damn easy to style and the most worn-in one is probably super comfortable, too. That’s why every season, designers add new styles to their collections.

My look: Two-tone appliquéd denim coat by Roberto Cavalli, printed low-rise skinny jeans

Chanel Code Coco

So pretty… at first glance, a bracelet that sparkles around the wrist – like a precious jewel. CHANEL is bringing new meaning to the term «timepiece» with the latest addition to its watch family: CODE COCO. The name derives from the idea to be intriguing, with parts that are working together to cleverly reveal different design elements, much like a code.

Inspired by the iconic CHANEL 2.55 purse, the new jewelry watch is available in stainless steel or white gold with diamonds. It closes with a click like the quilted bag, created by Mademoiselle Chanel in February 1955, whose clasp adorns the heart of the watch’s dial.

This swivel clasp can be positioned horizontally or vertically, masking or revealing the time as the wearer pleases. The flexible steel strap also features the iconic quilted motif – a signature of the French Maison.

The CODE COCO watch above all stands out with the way that it fastens around the wearer’s wrist. Rather than using a classic folding clasp, this timepiece furls around the wrist until its two ends meet. In fact, the watch bezel – available in steel or studded with diamonds – is located at one end of the strap, which curls around the wrist to encase the dial at the other end, fastening the watch closed with a click.

A tribute to a story, style and look, the CODE COCO watch carries the ever-renewing codes of CHANEL. Definitely on my wish list…

My Look: Tulum

The last two weeks I travelled through Yucatán and I have so many impressions to share with you. My final destination was the luxe-hippie beach town of Tulum on Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula, a place I fell in love with. Beautiful white-sand beaches, active social life, and the laidback lifestyle of a beach town, it is somehow cosmic and natural at once. So the print of the dress and the color of the shoes were a perfect fit. As I am very particular about my clothes, I had promised myself not to bring anything expensive or too fancy. This is the most fashionable I got on this trip and between us it is definitely not Tulum style. As one told me: «Tulum is hippie, golden sandals». There is not one place you can wear high heels and funnily enough, I loved it!

My look: Printed midi dress and green heels, both by Zarabeaded Mexican-style clip earrings by Etro, Possession 18-karat rose gold diamond ring by Piaget, Tonda Métropolitaine watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and quilted bag by Chanel.
