Greetings from beautiful Villa d’Este in Como, Italy where I am at the moment with Acqua di Parma for the presentation of their new fragrance Rosa Nobili. The photos of the event will be coming up shortly. Here you see me at the hotel before leaving to the gala dinner.
After an amazing day on the boat, experiencing the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2014 first-hand (pics coming up soon), I enjoyed an amazing night at Phi Beach, an open air club with enchanting rock formations shaped by the sea. The light here at the Costa Smeralda is breathtaking and it was just beautiful watching the sunset. Sun, sea, fun and exciting music, the Italians know how to party!
My look: Cashmere and silk-blend cardigan by Miu Miu, linen shift dress and rainbow colored bag, both by Chanel, turquoise suede sandals by Prada, Amulette necklace by Cartier, diamond rose ring, necklace and Limelight Gala watch, all by Piaget.
This Chanel bag has been one of my best buys this season as its rainbow palette of colors makes it the perfect accessory for many outfits. It is made of fabric which allows it to be stuffed easily into a suitcase.
Greetings from Sardinia! I am here at the famous Costa Smeralda for the 6th edition of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2014. Enjoying the glistening waters of Porto Cervo, I am guest of Loro Piana. During the last two days, I have already experienced some outstanding moments, indulding into the world of the Italian brand and their longstanding passion for sailing. I had the opportunity and honor to interview Mr Pier Luigi Loro Piana, who takes part in this major sailing event with his own 25-metre yacht My Song. Here you see me at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Stay tuned for more photos coming up soon!
My look: Vintage striped dress by Missoni, turquoise suede sandals by Prada, Marion quilted leather backpack by Tory Burch, sunglasses by Tom Ford and Amulette necklace by Cartier.
You know what I will be doing today… I will be buying all my Christmas presents as for the first time ever, I have not bought one single one. The last weeks were so busy with work that time flew without me realizing it. Yes, I would love to put my bag over my head and just pretend I can do some magic. So if you see me today in the city, say hi and cheer me up.
Saturday one week ago, before I left for Cannes, we had finally one beautiful radiant day in Zurich. No need to tell you how frustrated I am regarding the weather as most of you feel the same way. I have so many gorgeous summer outfits and never the chance to wear them. Enjoying the sunshine outside at Seerose restaurant followed by a casual dinner at a friend’s house, I went for an all white look with some colourful accessories.
Cartier‘s newest collection PARIS NOUVELLE VAGUE is inspired by Paris, jewelry pieces that sparkle and shine like the famous City of Light. Dedicated to seven different Parisian women and places – Mischievous, Voluptuous, Impish, Emancipated, Sparking, Glamourous and Delicate, you can choose which one you would love to be. Here are my three favorites:
7.00 pm – Trocadéro, the place that never stops. Modern, sophisticated, it inspires the art-loving Parisienne who wears this unique necklace or bracelet. It is time to be liberal…
8.30 pm – The ferris wheel at the Tuileries is turning and the colours of the sky melt in all shades of green and blue. The desire to be cheeky awakes…
9.00 pm – An evening at the Opéra, baroque and beautiful, who wouldn’t love those diamant embellished jewelry pieces. It is time to be opulent…
The complete collection will be in stores in June 2013.
I love what I do and that makes me happy. If you find the thing you really enjoy doing, work will not be work anymore, it will become pleasure. Sandra’s Closet is my passion, my addiction and my daily dose of fulfillment. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy posting it.
Here you see me on my way to one of my favourite sushi places in Zurich: GINGER. I included some photos of my beloved dishes below.

This Christmas, Cartiertakes us on a Winter Tale. Two panther cubs play hide and seek in a snow-laden forest of fir trees. These mischievous cubs lead us on an enchanting adventure. Follow their journey (see video at the end of this post), filled with discoveries and precious gifts… wouldn’t it be lovely to have one of those beautiful jewelry pieces under the Christmas tree?!
Work on your seductive, feline side and nobody could reject your wish list… I mean, who on earth could resist those eyes?
This week I wore this look, that would work for many occasions. I like the mix of basic colours such as white, beige and blue spiced up with red lips matching the handles of the bag.
