Amina Muaddi x Wolford

Shoe designer Amina Muaddi teams up with Wolford for a limited-edition collaboration including hosiery, leggings, bodysuits, jumpsuits, socks and a few skin-tight dresses.
Wolford, which sells everything from lingerie to beachwear and ready-to-wear apparel, is trying to get back to its roots as an innerwear brand — and hoping Muaddi can help.

The collaboration between Amina Muaddi and Wolford is a benchmark partnership. Both share the same DNA with regards to craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. Both share the same dedication for timeless contemporaneity and both are impassioned towards helping women express their identity and boost their confidence. A shared approach, avoiding fast-fashion, for a world with more consciousness.

Thong Tights

Amina Muaddi credits her Jordanian and Romanian heritage, as well as her time spent visiting family in Italy in her youth, as the DNA behind her eponymous label. Launched in 2018, it fuses a sense of opulence with timeless glamour, and is inspired by tastemakers from across the world. For Wolford, she created some truly outstanding pieces, among them the fabulous Thong Tights (finally!) and the Crystal Net Tights.

My Look: Paisley

After my master detox program at Clinique La Prairie I feel so full of energy which translates into my choice of fashion. Vibrant, colorful, full of life, for Gucci‘s «Epilogue» collection Alessandro Michele takes inspiration from the bohemian styles of the ’60s and ’70s. «Epilogue» was conceived as a vibrant rejection of fashion’s more «traditional» guidelines. It reveals all of the elements that have guided the Gucci aesthetic over the last six years. This brightly coloured paisley print ensemble speaks to the narrative used throughout the collection. It’s cut for a figure-skimming fit from breathable cotton and linen-blend canvas printed with a rainbow of swirling paisleys.

My look: Paisley-print canvas crop topicon, and matching paisley-print cotton-blend canvas maxi skirticon, Angel leather platform sandals, all by Gucci, oversized gold-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, Gilda super mini crystal-embellished lamé toteicon by Amina Muaddi, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.

Fashion’s Hottest Ticket: Amina Muaddi

Maintaining its status as one of fashions hottest-ticket items, I want you to have a look at the shoes from Amina Muaddi. Literally every woman who loves shoes, loves these and their Amina Muaddi shoe collection is ever-growing. I’m not surprised as her footwear is sassy, playful and flamboyant, opulent, yet timeless, as well as her use of interesting fabrics. Of course these heels come with a waiting list, but some of the hottest ones are available now.

Growing up between Jordan, Romania and Italy, Amina developed an eye for what taste-makers around the world truly want – that perfect blend of effortless glamour, impeccable craftsmanship and fashion-forward style. Something new and fresh, with its roots in timeless quality. She was fascinated by shoes at a young age, and even used to walk around the house in her mother’s heels as a child. She cites her Middle Eastern heritage and close female friends like Attico’s Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini as inspiration.

These Minnie Mouse Heels Are To Die For

I love Disney connotations in fashion as seen at Marc Jacobs for example or Givenchy, but I truly adore a subtle way yet clearly referable form like those amazing Minnie Mouse inspired heels by Oscar Tiye. The label’s founders Amina Muaddi and Irina Curutz wanted to create the perfect shoe, “capable of expressing elegance and strength.”

The must-have sandals are punctuated with round appliqués at the back to resemble our favorite lady mouse. Made in Italy, each pair has a signature magenta lining and cushioned insole that ensures comfort. The cute heels come in different ways – good news is that most of them are now on sale.
