Just-baked biscuit. Spiced with ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon, melting into caramel. Butter-crumbly with roasted hazelnuts. Warmed by tonka bean and vanilla. Irresistible.
Bitter Orange & Chocolate
The bite of bitter orange, layered with dark chocolate. Orange peel counterpoised with warm, powdery cocoa, milky coconut and coumarin. Sumptuous and addictive.
Isn’t the packaging itself just to-die-for? The beautiful collection for fragrance aficionados will be available in Switzerland from March 2013 for CHF 68.- (30ml) each bottle.

Last Wednesday, the 16th annabelle Prix de Beauté ceremony was held at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich and I felt very honored to be in the jury like last year. Above you can see annabelle’s editor-in-chief Lisa Feldmann with me at the event.
For those of you who are not familiar with this trophy, the “Anna” is like the “Swiss Beauty Oscar”. Many products in different categories are tested among the jury members and the winner is analyzed with the help of an elaborate questionary.

A Small World hosted the pre-launch party of Zurich’s new hot spot Aura last Thursday.
The location is gorgeous, home to a bar and smoker’s lounge, a restaurant and a nightclub which can be booked for special events. The large room is surrounded by projectors that can be part of a presentation or show.
Getting ready at home, I put on some upbeat music that got me psyched for the night. Great for dancing, I chose a pretty short dress and comfortable boots.
My look: Knit dress by Alexander McQueen, purple “punk”-style fur bag by Tom Ford, overknee boots by Gucci and cocktail ring by Roberto Cavalli.
With night in full swing and the lights low you can afford to get stronger with your makeup. I went for smokey eyes paired with dark bold lips. Here are all the products I used:

All aboard! Celebrating the upcoming grand opening of Lanvin’s Hong Kong flagship store on Icehouse Street, fashionistas can take a ride on the iconic beautifully decorated HK tramway.
In the meantime, beauty addicts rejoice worldwide: Lanvin’s Creative Director Alber Elbaz will be collaborating with Lancôme for a special limited edition make-up collection which is set to hit counters on 15th of June, 2013.

Start the season on the right foot with an all-white outfit. The non-colour has been seen head-to-toe on many S/S 2013 runways. But don’t think that you can stay with your average white cotton shirt that has been hanging forever in your closet. This summer, it is all about ruffles, laser-cut holes, panels, and stripes.
Slice and dice! Chloé has some of the most beautiful looks for summer and the house’s designer Claire Waight Keller spared no expense to come up with some gorgeous details. What might normally be just another ordinary crisp white jacket was sliced at the sleeves to give it a major point of difference.

Personally speaking, I might reach for my mobile phone more often during the day than I reach for a glass of water. So I literally died when I came across those iPhone cases that look identical to a bottle of Chanel nail polish. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin has taken place this week and the new CLA has premiered. Fittingly, it also stars alongside top model Karlie Kloss in Ryan McGinley‘s fashion film under the creative direction of Jefferson Hack that you can now see in full length at the end of this post. A striking beauty stands alone, surrounded by an imposing landscape, dark clouds gathering ominously behind her; she has two expressive and powerful companions, “her angels”, – a white horse and the Concept Style Coupé.
Karlie Kloss, originally hailing from Chicago, Illinois, has been setting the fashion world alight since her discovery aged 13. Walking for everyone from Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs to Louis Vuitton, she recently renewed a two-year contract with Christian Dior. She looks stunning in the short movie, wearing her pretty Chloé outfit in all white next to a mysterious white horse.
