«The bad news is time flies. The good news is you are the pilot! Your wings already exist, you just have to start to fly.»
I love flying (literally in all ways, sometimes it is good to get my feet back on the ground). When I was a little girl, I hung a world map in my room and put little needles in the locations I had visited. This poster is still in my parent’s house and whenever I come back home, I add the new ones. I have seen many countries, visited all five continents as travelling has been my other big passion besides fashion, but ones you see the magnitude of our planet, you realize how small you are and even if you think that you have seen so much, you have not seen a lot! Speaking off which, bye bye Switzerland! Off I go… comfy but in style!
My look: Cashmere sweater, cashmere top, matching pants, sneakers, backpack, circle messenger bag and airplane brooch, all from Chanel‘s flight-themed «Chanel Airlines» S/S 2016 collection.

«Your first impression is always a lasting impression.»
As you already know, I tend to keep all my clothes and never clean out my closet. I love to wear most of them after many years again, combine them with something new and feel the excitement of the first time. What I absolutely recommend is to invest your money in a great suit! That is something that lasts longer and will be timeless. Can you imagine that I bought this beautiful pantsuit by Alberta Ferretti in 2002?! An absolute keeper… and a great ensemble for a business meeting at the lake last week… when the weather was much nicer than today.
My look: Pantsuit by Alberta Ferretti, printed silk crepe de chine shirt and Monogramme lipstick printed textured-leather clutch, tulle mini petticoat skirt, Janis pumps with studs
, all by Saint Laurent, Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

Greenery is the Pantone Color of the Year 2017, a fresh and vibrant yellow-green shade that is considered as nature’s neutral evoking the first days of spring. For me, it is full of hope and energy and I like it the playful Gucci way.
My look: Ruffle trimmed single breasted wool coat, crêpe-jersey and georgette dress, embroidered leather knee boots and Dionysus embroidered leather hobo bag, all by Gucci. Ring «Diorette» and matching earrings, both by Dior Haute Joaillerie, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

Snow in April in Switzerland, really? So back to sweater weather. I love playful animal prints and Stella McCartney‘s swan motif has been one of my favorites lately. In combination with a great pair of wide pants, it looks sophisticated and not too girly at all.
My look: Double breasted tweed coat by Saint Laurent, ruffle-trimmed intarsia wool sweater and matching
Falabella swan embroidered faux leather bag, both by Stella McCartney, wide grey wool pants by Blumarine, Oxford-style ankle booties by Gucci, Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ring
by Gucci Fine Jewellery, choker and matching earrings, both by Dior.

There is no better time to seize the moment and officially welcome the spring wardrobe than Easter Sunday. But with the promise of good food, plenty of time to relax, and a speedy egg hunt, you’ll want to be comfortable as much as you like to stay stylish. This year, I went for leggings, feathers and this beautiful waterlily ’70s style print. This is what I call impeccably dressed for spring under the magnolia tree!
My look: Feather-trimmed denim jacket by Burberry, Nenúfar print top, Nenúfar print pants and Knife floral-print jersey sock boots
, all by Balenciaga, Sac de Jour in green by Saint Laurent, Possession 18-karat rose gold diamond ring and Possession 18-karat rose gold ring, both by Piaget, 18-karat white gold limited edition «Or Amour Et Trinity» band ring and yellow gold diamond ring, both by Cartier.

Happy Easter!

This Monday, I had the great honor as guest of Lindt to watch two world-class tennis players, Andy Murray and Roger Federer, competing against each other in the charity Match for Africa 3 at the Hallenstadion in Zurich, raising CHF 1.4 million for the Roger Federer Foundation.
Roger Federer with me before the match last Monday.
“I believe in the power of people. We know that a good education is a decisive factor to empower children by allowing them to take their future into their own hands,” said Roger Federer, who will play a fourth Match for Africa against John Isner on April 29 in Seattle, WA. “With my foundation, we want to provide one million children with the opportunity for a quality education by the end of 2018.”
Donations can be made online at match-for-africa.com.

My tennis-inspired look: Twill bomber jacket
, matching jersey-trimmed pleated twill mini dress and silk twill scarf with pendant, all by Gucci, suede overknee boots by Roberto Cavalli, Betty Medium Chain leather shoulder bag

I always like to explore new designers. One that has caught my eye is Esteban Cortazar who is inspired by his formative years in Miami’s South Beach in the ‘90s, as well as his time working alongside couture seamstresses as Emanuel Ungaro’s Creative Director. “It is a very personal vision; one that empowers women by making them feel beautiful,” he says of his collections.
My look: Asymmetric one-shoulder ribbed stretch-knit dress and ruffled cotton-trimmed ribbed stretch-knit leggings, both by Esteban Cortazar, Elephant striped leather shoulder bag by Loewe, goat hair-trimmed leather pumps by Gucci, smiley emoji black pearl crystal long necklace, carved pearls necklace and wide cuff, all by Chanel.

Hello from Lugano that is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland for me. Ticino’s lush, mountain-rimmed lake isn’t its only worth visiting asset.
