As promised here comes the second outfit from my fiancé’s 36th birthday bash at La Réserve Eden au Lac last Saturday. I quickly had changed right before the birthday cake arrived and we indulged in a glass of Louis XIII. Afterwards we moved up to La Muña that had transformed into a night club. If you ask yourself, why did I change? I love dancing and that works best in something comfy yet stylish. Therefore I went for this fun leopard-print stretch-jersey jumpsuit.

Last Saturday, we celebrated my fiancé‘s 36th birthday bash at La Réserve Eden au Lac. Unfortunately due to the bad weather, we had to change the location and moved from the rooftop terrace to the restaurant downstairs. Nevertheless, the last minute adjustment didn‘t have any impact on the great ambiance and party mood of our guests. Everyone was so delighted to be back among dear friends, enjoying great food, fun live music and dancing.
I was extremely happy to finally wear my full-on feather gown. However, I changed for the second part of the night. Stay tuned, I will show you my other outfit soon!

This week was so emotional for me. I had to watch my daughter’s graduation via Youtube as parents were not allowed at the ceremony due to the current corona situation. I am so proud of her and cannot believe that my little girl will be leaving soon to study in Boston. When I picked her up, I wore my very own varsity sweater. I will be off to Saint Laurent university… just saying.

As announced in yesterday’s post, today is World Oceans Day, the United Nations day for celebrating the role of the oceans in our everyday life and inspiring action to protect the ocean and sustainably use marine resources. We can all do something for the environment. Even if you are not close to an ocean, you can make an effort to keep your local shores clean. This also works around Lake Zurich. Don’t forget, small acts can make a huge impact.

I am truly counting down the days until life will hopefully back to normal. I miss travelling, a good party among friends, going dancing and dressing up not only for the bathroom… This Ralph & Russo sweater has become my absolute favorite spring piece as you can change its look so easily. Yesterday marked the launch of Louis Vuitton‘s LV Pont 9 shoulder bag. The Maison’s most important bag debut of the year is available in five colours. I went for blue which will officially launch on June 26. This French-chic shoulder bag takes cues from both the past and present, and got its name from the famous Pont Neuf bridge in Paris. The design is a classic silhouette of a flap bag, with smooth curved edges and a vintage appeal.

I love CHANEL. Since I was a teenager, I have been crazy for the French Maison with its extremely eye-caring and sophisticated logo. CHANEL, one of the most luxurious and influential fashion brands, is with no doubt timeless. For my 18th birthday I got a CHANEL ensemble that I still wear and adore. It was Karl Lagerfeld expanding on the prestige and history of Coco’s achievements that made women around the globe crave for a piece of CHANEL.
