Today, Munich’s Oktoberfest would be kicking off, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the current pandemic. Personally speaking, visiting the world’s biggest beer festival in my old hometown always marked the beginning of fall for me. I absolutely love wearing those fabulous traditional clothes. Happy Monday to all of you! Being in quarantine made me realize once more to be grateful for every day when you wake up healthy, for every moment you can spend with someone you love. In challenging times it’s more than important to focus on positive things, work on your goals and dreams. Take time for yourself to think! Become your own muse, your own motivation, and your source of inspiration. You don’t need anyone else, just yourself. That bat! That guilty bat that most likely made the coronavirus outbreak happen. Who would have thought that this little animal can have such an impact on the whole world? Taking the current situation with a certain dose of humor, imagine today’s outfit without the bat necklace, it wouldn’t be the same… It gives it that certain wow-effect and blurs the line between where art ends and fashion begins.

Yesterday was probably one of the most emotional days in my life. My daughter went off to college, flying to the US by herself as I was not allowed to accompany her due to the current pandemic. This truly breaks my heart. Not only letting her go is pretty tough on me, but not being there for her to settle in is even harder. However, I know that she will be fine, she grew into an amazing and independent woman and I am proud of her.
We took those photos this week, when she caught me thinking on my balcony. Not only I am loosing my daughter at home, but also my photographer. That is also pretty tough for me!

When I was a little girl I would play dress up and prance around, twirling tulle skirts, and admiring the glamorous reflection of my sparkly earrings. Today I wished I could just beam me back to those fun times playing with my Barbie dolls and Hello Kitty gadgets. My iPhone crashed completely and it took me 8 hours to rescue everything. This made me realize how dependent we all are on this portable device and how I sometimes miss those carefree days.
Playing dress up is still so much fun for me and I love to indulge in those happy, pink, and girly moments. Therefore I left my daughter’s playroom exactly as it was when she was a little kid. The perfect backdrop for this fun and playful outfit.
