The outfit for which I had received the most compliments this summer was definitely this full-on Dolce & Gabbana denim and brocade patchwork look that I wore to a summer party in Saint Tropez.
Isn’t this outfit just fabulous? So vibrant, fun and playful. I love the idea of using stock fabrics to produce new looks, a truly sustainable approach to fashion without loosing the style aspect out of sight! Bravo, Dolce & Gabbana, well done!
My look: Patchwork brocade, drill and jacquard vest, patchwork drill and brocade jacquard bustier top, patchwork denim and jacquard midi skirt
, short necklace with patchwork details and rhinestones
, printed turban, Devotion denim slingback pumps, Sicily leather-trimmed patchwork denim tote
, and floral embellished rhinestone sunglasses
, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Clash de Cartier ring in 18K rose gold with amazonite by Cartier. Vintage Chandra earrings with white porcelain and pink tourmaline by Bvlgari (worn in shoot), and oversized gold-tone, leather, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana (worn at party).

Isabel Marant puts her signature twist on the classic denim style, presenting this stud-embellished denim jacket and ruffled strapless dress. It is a great way to upgrade your classics. The white boots have the same studs like the jacket. I am totally obsessed with this look.
My look: Depaline studded embellished denim jacket, Dolizi strapless denim peplum mini dress,
Luliette embellished canvas and suede ankle boots, Silver In Love star earrings
, all by Isabel Marant, and The Pouch small gathered leather clutch by Bottega Veneta.

Feels Like Prada – I have been collecting Prada from the early beginning (thank you, Mama, for spoiling me at an early age). Miuccia Prada’s first creation was the now-classic Prada backpack called the Vela, which made its debut in 1984. In 1988, she showed her first ready-to-wear collection for F/W, that was focused on clean lines and timeless silhouettes. Since then, she has influenced how we think about fashion, without you knowing about it probably. Personally speaking, she is the real trendsetter in the industry, sometimes even a little ahead of time.
For me, it is fascinating to see how the young generations crave now for Prada. The recent launch of the re-edition nylon bags caused a true fashion frenzy. Needless to say, I feel blessed that I have kept everything in my closet. I love to mix and match from different seasons as you can see in this look, shot during Milan Fashion Week.
My look: Cropped organic denim jacket, denim bralette (both F/W 2021), synthetic reflective silver track pants (F/W 2017), frame comic-print leather bag (S/S 2018), light green pumps (S/S 2012), spiked bead collar necklace (S/S 2003), and wide blue head band (F/W 2020), all by Prada.

The last four days I spent with PRADA in Milan during Fashion Week. I had so many amazing experiences that I cannot wait to share them all with you. Before the after show dinner at Papermoon Giardino on Friday evening, we took those photos before the PRADA art wall in Via Spallanzani. Drawing on Mrs Prada’s love of the gesture, I wore my yellow cape clutched over the black ensemble made of re-nylon. I find this look very modern and sophisticated even though it draws inspiration from the ’90s.
My look: Yellow re-nylon cape, re-nylon gabardine bralette, logo buckle belt re-nylon midi skirt, logo-plaque 90mm pumps, coral brushed leather tote bag, vintage embellished necklace and matching earrings, all by Prada.

Sunflowers are a symbol of the sun and symbolize love, happiness, vitality, positivism and energy. In Chinese culture, the graceful flower also stands for a long life and good luck. Seeing a sunflower field always makes me happy. Therefore please excuse my sunflower overdose but I truly enjoyed those last summer days to the fullest walking through the yellow fields.
My look: Sunflower print long dress, sunflower-embroidered point-toe mesh pumps, sunflower motif Sicily shoulder bag, sunflower embellished headpiece
, crystal-embellished sunflower ring
and matching crystal-embellished sunflower earrings, all by Dolce & Gabbana, and cat-eye marbled-acetate sunglasses by Gucci.

Once the preserve of hippies and ravers, tie-dye has moved into the mainstream. Psychedelic and colorful, the trend prominent in the ‘60s and ’70s has returned to the runways, giving 21st-century fashion a playful twist. With its uplifting mood, the trend gathered steam during the pandemic and has remained popular ever since. I love my Gabriela Hearst tie-dye pieces that transport a little bit of summer into fall.
My look: Massey tie-dyed cashmere maxi shirt dress
, Severino frayed tie-dyed cashmere scarf, and
Vettel striped cashmere cardigan
, all by Gabriela Hearst, Marble Silk Constance bag by Hermès, neutral Amber Ghost suede and PVC sandals by Alexandre Vauthier, Windsor round acetate sunglasses by Isabel Marant, Maillon de Cartier 16mm 18-karat white gold diamond watch
, and Clash de Cartier bracelet MM in white gold, both by Cartier.

I am invited to Gstaad this weekend for a fun birthday / wedding anniversary celebration. It feels good to go back to my home away from home, even though my favorite hotel, the Gstaad Palace, already closed for the summer season. When people ask me why I love this hotel so much, the explanation is easy. Everything that happens in Gstaad, happens at the Palace. The lobby is a vibrant yet cozy place where you can sit for hours to enjoy great conversations, amazing food with your friends or people who might have just met.
My look: Damask and jacquard tulle dress, floral-print crossbody bag, Made in Heaven pearl choker, and peace pearl-embellished pendant earrings, all by Moschino, La Di Da 130 two-tone metallic leather platform sandals
by Aquazzura.

Munich has always been my happy place. I absolutely adore this city in which I had lived for eight years before moving to Chicago and then Zurich. Therefore I was so happy to be back to see my friends, to enjoy Bavarian food and to walk around the famous Maximilianstrasse for some serious shopping damage.
My look: Aliane patchwork floral-print linen midi dress
by Zimmermann, Bougainvillea 105mm sandals by Aquazzura, gold-tone necklace
by Saint Laurent
, yellow beaded earrings by Oscar de la Renta, and denim tie dye cannage small Caro bag by Dior.

Challenging my inner Laura Ingalls Wilder… Driving with the MASERATI Ghibli Hybrid through the Swiss countryside in my Liberty floral print maxi dress, I remembered the American Western television series «Little House on the Prairie», that I loved to watch when I was a child. It is the perfect outfit for a picnic in the meadow.
My look: Liberty floral print maxi dress by Gucci, Lapee metallic-toecap leather ankle boots
by Isabel Marant, Sunshine logo-embroidered woven tote bag
, and raffia and stainless-steel bottle holder
, both by Fendi, cat-eye acetate and metal sunglasses by Bottega Veneta
, and Woody canvas-trimmed raffia sunhat
by Chloé.

Looking back, the ’90s feels like a golden era—the Game Boy! The Spice Girls! The last cell phone-less generation! but most of all when it comes to the fashion. Do you remember the impossible-to-forget popcorn shirts – aka magic bubble shirts, or scrunchie shirts, as they can also be called – from the late ’90s/early 2000s? They are back! A shirt that’s initially tiny enough to fit a doll, but expands large enough to fit your boyfriend, and that everyone had put on the «never again» fashion list, is making a comeback. I unpinned mine with a matching bra top.
My look: Cropped satin-cloqué cardigan
, satin-cloqué sports bra
, and Bite layered distressed denim and cotton-piqué shorts
, all by Alexander Wang, mirrored-platform metallic-leather sandals
by Miu Miu, green flap pocket bag with colorful strap (Look 5 Pre-collection Summer 2021), horn layered necklace by Isabel Marant, Louise long necklace by Louis Vuitton, and Loulou heart-shaped acetate sunglasses by Saint Laurent.
LoL, Sandra
