The 69th Annual Golden Globes awards took place in Beverley Hills last night and for us it is a pleasure to see who wore which designer. Unfortunately, Madonna (in Reem Acra), Kelly Osbourne (in Zac Posen) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (in Monique Lhuillier) are NOT on my best dressed list. Please see who is below!

Natalie Portman in Lanvin

The award for cuteness goes definitely to the dog from the “The Artist”. The movie that won BEST PICTURE. He was the top dog and certainly stole the show…

Here they are the best sunnies available at the moment, the Audrey sunglasses…

…and my newest Spring crush, the floral shopping tote, both by Céline and in stores now.

Céline used this amazing floral print also for their Resort 2012 ready-to-wear collection. The leather biker jacket is so divine that I am dying to get my hands on it!

This month, Prada launches its new Foulards S/S 2012 Capsule Collection. The printed silk scarfs come in sizes 60 x 60 cm or 90 x 90 cm and prices start from €290.
Spring, here we come!

Finding a pretty bathroom or a lean kitchen design at Boffi seems to be a no-brainer. Interior designers shop here for elements that can give your house a minimalistic, gallery-ish atmosphere.
Boffi’s new showroom in Zurich-Wollishofen
Heading down to Boffi for the ultimate in a chic, contemporary closet might not have come to your mind first. But it should. Boffi, the high-end Italian manufacturer of kitchens and baths, presents its latest collection: wardrobe and closet components.
The designs include the St. Germain walk-in closet system (Design: Piero Lissoni + CRS Boffi), below, which features rectangular rods, mounted drawers and adjustable shelves. The structure is in melamine white, with black matt elements like drawer handles, trouser-holders, pull-out shelves for shirts, shelves with clothes rods and shelf sides. Fitted with adjustable feet on the ground. I like!

Here is my second look from the LuisaViaRoma Styling Lab. I called it “Modern Princess” and believe me I felt like one in this stunning extraordinary gown on the streets of Florence when people were starring at me. It was a very funny situation, especially when Bryan Boy and I were standing together (see photos at the end).
You can shop the look by clicking on the highlighted text:
Embroidered silk duchesse and crepe dress
by Fausto Puglisi, Mini Loubi Lula silk clutch
and Lady peep leather pumps
, both by Christian Louboutin and head piece by Atkinson.

For me as a blogger, it is so interesting to observe the recent forays of many fashion houses into social media, such as this new extraordinary project: On January 16th 2012 at 3pm (CET), Zegna Facebook fans can experience the Z Zegna F/W 2012 men fashion show live through the eyes of fashion icon Anna Dello Russo.
The moodboard on Zegna’s facebook wall
Her arrival, her moments backstage with Z Zegna’s new Creative Director Paul Surridge, and her savvy commentary before, during and after the Z Zegna show will be live streamed by two assistants who will be armed with a special application developed for iPhone. Anna Dello Russo, who will be dressed in a Z Zegna suit specially designed for her, will have a dedicated tab on the Facebook page and fans can see the runway show live streamed “Beyond the Catwalk” experience through the eyes of fashion icon Anna Dello Russo. An exclusive video of the fittings will follow right after fashion week.
This is your chance to experience in real-time the excitement of the fashion show through the eyes of one of the most famous international stylist and fashion blogger, Anna dello Russo once described as ‘a fashion maniac’ by Helmut Newton.

Here is my first look from the LuisaViaRoma Styling Lab: GYPSY VIBE and I can finally reveal the secret which pug dog I have adpoted: It is the cute Emilio Pucci one which is inspired by the house’s iconic Marquise bag.
You know already that I am a huge fan of the Florentine house and the Pucci S/S 2012 collection is definitely on my shopping list.
To shop the look, just click on the highlighted text:
Printed lace top
and long organza skirt
, both by Emilio Pucci, platform sandals
by Versace, neon-coral PS1 small leather satchel (amazing colour) by Proenza Schouler, straw hat by Borsalino and Mirador crochet earrings by Carolina Bucci.
I hope that you like it as much as I do!
LoL, Sandra

The new Roberto Cavalli advertising campaign for S/S 2012 revolves around the iconic beauty of 4 excellent top models: Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy and Daphne Groeneveld are the Florentine designer’s muses, as he chose to represent the collection through women who embody the standards of a modern appeal.

Steven Meisel shot the photos that are reminiscent of the Versace campaigns in the ’90s. The Cavalli S/S 2012 collection is very glamourous and opulent. Those beaded embellished dresses in daring gold will surely be seen on the red carpets of the season.

In this image, you see Naomi Campbell with the Florence bag, which is considered to be the new ‘It’ bag of the Maison.

Mulberry takes us to the seaside for its S/S 2012 campaign
Mulberry’s S/S 2012 season visits the Great British Seaside by way of the UK’s Brighton Beach, inspired by Creative Director Emma Hill’s memories of the English seasides of her childhood.
This seaside scene was captured by one of my favourite photographers Tim Walker, starring models Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Wixon. It is Walker’s third campaign he has shot for the English brand. I love the gigantic ice-cream scones and cupcake colours which are a huge trend for S/S 2012. Nostalgic and eclectic, capturing the Mulberry charm in perfection!
LoL, Sandra
