The last days I travelled quite a lot through Switzerland, from Zurich to Zuoz, from St. Moritz to Gstaad, always amazed by the beauty of the country I am living in.
Today is Swiss National Day and I am so happy to celebrate this holiday with friends and fireworks. August 1st is to the Swiss what July 4th is to Americans, or July 14th to the French. This day was chosen because August 1st 1291 was the date on which three Alpine cantons swore the oath of confederation, an act which later came to be regarded as the foundation of Switzerland.

Here you see me in the picturesque town of Zuoz in the upper Engadin last Saturday.
My look: Tweed jacket and shoulder bag, both from the Paris – Dallas collection, sneakers and «Blow in Case of Fashion Emergency» necklace, all by Chanel, distressed grey jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, cotton-jersey T-shirt by Saint Laurent and aviator-style metal sunglasses by Gucci.

To all my Swiss readers wishing you a Happy Swiss National Day and a great weekend!

The first evening in Capri was a «White Night», guests were asked to dress head to toe in white. Before leaving to dinner, I took these photos on the terrace of the Caesare Augustus Hotel in Anacapri with spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea.
My look: White lace dress by Azzedine Alaïa, white «Duffle 6» bag, Alice T-strap studded sandals, both by Saint Laurent, «So Real» sunglasses by Dior, white cuff and earrings, both by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

One weekend ago, I went to Capri to attend the most beautiful wedding in the Garden of Augustus. The gardens, designed in terraces overlooking the sea, can be considered a testament to the rich flora of the island, with various ornamental plants and flowers such as geraniums, dahlias and brooms. A perfect spot to get married! The dress code was bohemian glamour – couldn’t have been better.
My look: Knitted long gown in gold beige by Azzedine Alaïa, fringed Monogram bag in gold, woven lurex tassel necklace
, beaded bracelet and Bianca leather sandals, all by Saint Laurent, bohemian headpiece, earrings and necklace, all by Chanel, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Mitza ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis.

This week, I flew to Paris for a great evening with Lancôme to celebrate their 80th anniversary and to interview Viktor & Rolf who were proud of the festivities for Flowerbomb, their iconic fragrance, that turned 10 this year.

I met the designer duo at the beautiful Peninsula Hotel Paris, that had opened its doors last year. The interview was absolutely amazing and I was so happy when I left to the airport that I sat down at the piano in the lobby. Playing my favorite instrument is something that gives me lots of relaxation and energy at once.
My look: Silk embellished top and black silk skirt, both by Viktor & Rolf (from a previous season), cutout leather platform pumps by Saint Laurent, Bamboo leather tote
by Gucci, necklace and cuff, both by Chanel, ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis.
My piano dream life feels more like a fortissimo life but I adore my job and this gets me going! Next stop NYC and Florence, stay tuned for more…

Generally speaking, sequins got a huge upgrade during the last seasons, they are definitely no longer for the night time party girls only, they look sophisticated for the office, your shopping trip or wherever you like to go. Sequins can easily transition from day and night and don’t forget they provide an instant light on your face! I wore this dress in Los Angeles during the day (for the previous post, please click here) and yesterday in Sardinia at Forte Village for a night out dancing.
My look: Daga sequined bandage dress (30% off now) by Hervé Léger,
Bianca metallic elaphe sandals and beaded bracelet, both by Saint Laurent, patchwork clutch by Prada, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle! Shine on!

As you already know, I am on vacation in Sardinia, staying at the beautiful Forte Village resort in the Villa del Parco hotel which is surrounded by lush gardens and a magic forest. Curly hair, only a little lipgloss, then you know, I am on holidays…
When it comes to travelling, I love to pack Missoni
and Hervé Léger because both brands make clothes that are timeless, don’t wrinkle and are easy to stuff in a suitcase. Can you imagine that I bought this dress around 12 years ago?!
My look: Multicolored dress by Missoni, gold-plated multi-stone necklace
by Etro, Anita fringed suede shoulder bag and
beaded leather sandals, both by Saint Laurent, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

The dress code for Chopard‘s Gold Party during the Cannes Film Festival (photos will be coming up shortly) said «glamourous with a touch of gold». A great opportunity to wear for the first time my new Chanel clutch that says: «Je ne suis pas en solde», which basically means «I am not for sale». The perfect statement for all non gold diggers!
I always like to add an unexpected twist to an outfit. This time with those metallic ankle boots that caught all attention when they peeped out under my gown.
My look: Cassandra backless bandage gown by Hervé Leger, Paris metallic leather ankle boots by Saint Laurent, «Je ne suis pas en solde» clutch and earrings, both by Chanel, Mitza ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie and Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis.
