This winter, it is all about the plaid factor. The pattern that somehow manages to straddle the not-so-fine-line between preppy and punk has suddenly proven itself as this season’s principle print. I admit, I love pink and I have never outgrown my love for Barbie. Sometimes, it happens and I take a crazy dose of pink as recently at the dinner with Harrison Ford at the Tommy Hilfiger store in Zurich.

Tartan is one of the biggest trends for F/W 2013. From red checks, to blue or green and even black plaid, many looks, traditional and modern appeared printed with the iconic Scottish pattern on the fall runways. Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent gave it a grunge twist and I couldn’t resist this amazing cardigan that I wore during Paris Fashion Week.

Tap fashion’s slogan sweatshirt craze or go for a floral or embellished version. Highlight a print by wearing skinny pants and sneakers. This weekend close friends of mine got married. It was a very romantic and beautiful private wedding celebration with lots of tears of joy and laughter. The bride looked breathtakingly stunning and so thought the handsome groom. One detail that I truly loved was that each guest had a little heart with his name on the table filled with a personalized quote.

Yesterday evening, I went to the launch party of SI Style‘s newest magazine edition: STYLE BEAUTY which will be available from today. The event took place at the beautiful Sonnenberg restaurant in Zurich. The room was filled with the who’s who of the Swiss beauty industry.
