Novelty Sweatshirts

Novelty Sweatshirts 2

Here is your guide to master the huge sweatshirt trend for F/W 2013 with no sweat. The style set can’t get enough of this season’s cool comfy tops. Tap fashion’s slogan sweatshirt craze or go for a floral or embellished version. Highlight a print by wearing skinny pants and sneakers. The great thing about those novelty sweatshirts is that you can also upgrade them with a sexy skirt and a pair of heels. And don’t forget, grey is the colour to think about first!

Personally speaking, I am crazy for this amazing cloud-print cotton-jersey sweatshirt iconby Kenzo and the black cotton sweatshirt with colourful ‘brain’ print iconby Christopher Kane.

Good Girls Love Bad Boys

Love playful statement tops? Zoe Karssen is the brand for you. Founded in Amsterdam in 2010 by design duo Zoe and Quince Karssen, their quirky slogan tees are instantly recognizable, and this Good Girls Love Bad Boys cotton-blend sweatshirt is my latest must-have. Cut from a super soft cotton and modal-blend, its lightweight style is an effortless choice. I will team it with everything from skinny jeans to pencil skirts.

Fash Friday: The End of the World

Today it marks the 21st of December, 2012 – apparently judgment day, the date Mayans predicted to be the end of the world. An eternal scare story that leaves only one thing for certain, it won’t be the last apocalyptic prophecy.

Personally speaking, the 21st of December has always been my lucky day, it was my beloved grandmother’s birthday, it is the day my husband and I came together (which might have been already his personal Armageddon, haha).

Nevertheless, if the world goes down today, I will definitely go shopping before and get this outfit: Madame cotton-blend terry sweatshirt iconby Zoe Karssen, Natalie embroidered twill and satin mini skirt by Peter PilottoBekket leather and suede sneakers iconby Isabel Marant and Pashli shark-embossed leather trapeze toteicon by 3.1 Phillip Lim.
