Amsterdam has so much more to offer than its famous Red Light District. With over one million residents, it’s the largest city in the Netherlands and a creative, cultural hub. The Stedelijk Museum for example is absolutely worth a visit with its great exhibition of modern and contemporary art as well as design from the early 20th century up to the 21st century. It features artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Karel Appel, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Marlene Dumas, Lucio Fontana, and Gilbert & George.

The Stedelijk is located at the Museum Square in the borough Amsterdam South, where it is close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Royal Concertgebouw, that are all must-sees when being in the Dutch metropole.

One of the best ways to have some fun in Amsterdam is to get on a bike or vespa as I did and see the city on a set of wheels. I had heard about the city’s famous Red Light District well before my trip. In Amsterdam, both marihuana and prostitution are legal. Leaving nothing to the imagination, some stereotypes about this area are true, there are plenty of sex shops, peep shows, brothels and prostitutes in red-lit windows. The area is bustling with visitors and groups of tourists.
My look to explore the town: Black cotton parka by Balmain, dress with leather and lace appliqué by Saint Laurent, biker boots by Miu Miu, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch, both by Piaget and sunglasses by Marni.

Tulips are also an integral part of the Dutch city’s life and you see them everywhere.
Stay tuned as I will show you more from Amsterdam soon…

In Amsterdam I stayed at The College Hotel which I can absolutely recommend. One night, I had dinner with my Dutch friends at Nacional, which is a great restaurant reminiscent of a Parisian brasserie. Afterwards, we had drinks at Bo Cinq followed by some dancing at Jimmy Woo.

Visiting Amsterdam, the Venice of the North, was truly a lot of fun. Thanks to its 400-year-old waterways, which are criss-crossed with tons of bridges, the city offers lots of picturesque places to enjoy. Here you see me heading to dinner at Izakaya, a culinary hot spot in Amsterdam, Japanese food at its best.
My look: Studded leather dress
, knit cardigan with stud embellishments, Janis embellished suede ankle boots, all by Saint Laurent, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget and diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

This week, I spent some amazing days in Gstaad at THE ALPINA GSTAAD (for more information about the hotel, please click here for a previous post) in their new Kiki de Montparnasse Love Suite that I am eager to tell you more about soon. One evening, I enjoyed an amazing dinner at the hotel’s Sommet restaurant that has one Michelin star and 18/20 Gault Millau points. Renowned chef Marcus G. Lindner knows how to spoil your senses. Right now I am in Gstaad, situated in the Berner Oberland. Long known for its walking and hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty, the mountain air and ambiance is just lovely, especially when the sun is shining. Today I went for a hike around Lake Lauenen, which is the epitome of a perfect mountain idyll as you can see.
My look: Black cotton parka by Balmain, stretch-jersey leggings by Splendid, washed-silk camisole
by Equipment, long grey belted cotton shirt by Prada, zebra-print calfskin hiking boots by Prada Sport, Twilly silk scarf by Hermès, sunglasses «Sidereal 2» in pink by Dior and rose diamond necklace by Piaget.

Today’s post is dedicated to one of my favorite Caribbean islands: St. Barths. It offers everything, from peaceful moments to glamorous times, from fantastic restaurants to great beaches and amazing water. Not to forget the landing. Arriving on the island in one of those small planes is truly legendary as Gustaf III airport on St. Barths is one of the most dangerous airports in the world.
Here you see me leaving from my boutique hotel, the Manapany (Uma Thurman stayed there at the same time), to the Cheval Blanc (which is owned by the LVMH group) for lunch.
My look: Colourful bikini
, matching pareo
and clutch, all by Emilio Pucci, suede and wooden clogs by Miu Miu, cuff by Stella McCartney, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery, pearl embellished sunglasses, necklace and earrings, both by Chanel.

As you already know, I am on vacation in Sardinia, staying at the beautiful Forte Village resort in the Villa del Parco hotel which is surrounded by lush gardens and a magic forest. Curly hair, only a little lipgloss, then you know, I am on holidays…
When it comes to travelling, I love to pack Missoni
and Hervé Léger because both brands make clothes that are timeless, don’t wrinkle and are easy to stuff in a suitcase. Can you imagine that I bought this dress around 12 years ago?!
My look: Multicolored dress by Missoni, gold-plated multi-stone necklace
by Etro, Anita fringed suede shoulder bag and
beaded leather sandals, both by Saint Laurent, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.
