Even that Johannesburg is presumably dangerous, walking around in Melrose Arch is pretty safe as it is gated and has a lot of security measurements. It has high-end shops, restaurants, and hotels. Given its premium status, it’s a fitting location for showcasing luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce, as well as having the armoured car service dealer just across.

Art or not?! This questions touches on the debate wether fashion is considered art and if it should be collected the same way art is. I have seen fashion as art all my life and have been collecting for over 30 years. Today, it shows that I was right. High-fashion items have appreciated in value over time, much like art, making them valuable collectibles, . If you visit the Sotheby’s Salon at Bucherer, you will find many treasures that are hard to get and that have increased in value. It is a shopping haven for all fashion lovers and collectors!

Outfit public, destination unknown. Would you go on a mystic tour, where the destination is unknown to you until the last moment? Ideal for adventurous travellers who enjoy the thrill of the unknown and trust the expertise of the travel planner, who will give you little insights about weather, season and activities beforehand so that you to know what to pack. The final reveal of your destination will happen while landing. I did it and I loved it!

So much traveling behind and ahead of me and I am loving it. Here you see me two weeks ago on my way to a fantastic night at Annabel’s in London enjoying the live performance of famous DJ Black Coffee. After that I left to Saint Tropez (definitely with this clutch in my suitcase) for some fun time with friends, followed by my school reunion in Frankfurt. Yesterday, I was back in Zurich, today I am in Wimbledon and then tonight off to Johannesburg. No matter where I am and what I am doing, my motto is shine and sparkle and enjoy life to the fullest.

Being back in my old home town was pure magic. Chicago, I love you. I had an amazing time celebrating a wonderful friend. I have always had a thing for tulle dresses, probably because they feel like playing dress up and are reminiscent of a ballet tutu.

by Bottega Veneta, transparent pumps Tan-Go by Valentino, lace tights by Calzedonia, earrings with pearls, and necklace, both by Alessandra Rich, and Dynasty oversized geometric-frame sunglasses by Balenciaga.

Inspired by «The True Cost» documentary that shows the disgusting business practices of multi-billion dollar fast fashion brands that pinch factory’s so tight that they can keep up with the pressure to make money, I wore this tongue-in-cheek look to the Moschino show this spring. The pieces are from previous collections by Jeremy Scott, who is a genius when it comes to fashion with humor. The dollar signs on my dress and jacket, the fake fur stole and the cigarette box bag with the slogan «Fashion kills» are in my opinion a great match together.
I have always promoted to invest in pieces of good quality and to keep them for many years to come instead of buying fast fashion for one season.
My look: Double-breasted embellished crepe blazer
, embellished crepe mini dress
, fake fur stole, black head piece with oversized bow, and cigarette-inspired leather bag, all by Moschino, pearl necklace by CHANEL, and Medusa Aevitas embellished satin platform pumps by Versace.

After the Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten has decided to step down as creative director of the brand that bears his name at the end of June, leaving behind an admired and successful business, a body of work that remains inspiring and distinct, his designs have been on even higher demand. I love this stylish, yet comfortable look from the S/S 2024 collection that I am wearing in this post on the Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.
Tomorrow, I will be on my way to the US again… any idea where I will be heading to?
