This was my look that I wore to the Omega press conference with Nicole Kidman in Vienna for the launch of their new Ladymatic models:

Stretch-jersey crepe top by Alexander McQueen, pleated brocade mini skirt and tiger-embroidered leather shoulder bag, both by Kenzo, suede ankle boots by Saint Laurent and black velvet deluxe tights by Wolford.

I am very much in love with this Kenzo bag as I still adore the tiger embroidery but had seen too many of the iconic sweaters on the streets recently…

When I presented you the first photos of the Dior Iconic event in February, I wasn’t allowed to show you all. But it is time to reveal the missing pictures. In the beginning of January, a few days after I came back from Qatar, I had the chance to meet the lovely Eduardo Ferreira, International Artistic Director for Bobbi Brown, who was in Zurich to present the newest launches personally. What an honor!

We got together at the Grieder Bar and bonded immediately. He is not only extremely charming, fun and witty, but also highly professional and interesting to talk to.

Being in his element to create makeup looks that every woman will adore, he suggested that he tries out the newest products right away on me. I am sure that you can imagine the looks I got from the other guests. Very funny!

Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks are my new best friends after Eduardo explained me how to use them. I have to admit that I had always found the application of this kind of stick pretty difficult but their texture is amazing.

Here is the outfit that I wore to the Rodial Beautiful Awards 2013 in London. The photos were taken in the beautiful lobby and bar of the St. Martins Lane Hotel.

This Easter weekend has been absolutely perfect so far, of course excluding the weather. Here in Zurich, it has been snowing today. Totally crazy. In the morning, I went to a friend’s house for a lovely Easter brunch. It was so great to be with the people I haven’t seen in a long time.

This was my look for Omega’s La Nuit Enchantée in Vienna one week ago: Crochet gown by Emilio Pucci, leopard clutch by Louis Vuitton, suede sandals by Gucci, Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie, gold-plated Swarovski crystal tiger necklace and crystal cuff-style tiger earrings, both by Roberto Cavalli.

The last days in Vienna were amazing. Omega hosted an event of superlatives. On Saturday evening, I attended La Nuit Enchantée (The Enchanted Night) at the beautifully illuminated Gartenpalais Liechtenstein, a special celebration for the launch of the new models in Omega’s iconic Ladymatic collection with a very special guest: Nicole Kidman had flown in especially for the night from London where she is filming at the moment.

Let me tell you all about the amazing party and my enchanted moment of the night!

The façade of the Gartenpalais Liechtenstein, the venue for the event, was opulently lit with decorative projections, including the brand’s iconic Omega logo, and images from the new advertising campaign.

I arrived on the red carpet and was warmly greeted by Raynald Aeschlimann, Vice President and International Sales Director Omega.

Inside, the evening opened with a standing cocktail party in the palace, whose elaborate decoration with real trees suggested an enchanted forest.

We were then asked to go upstairs where an outstanding ambiance awaited us. The room itself breathed history and opulence, the decoration was truly stunning.

Following a choreographed dance performance of a Viennese waltz, Nicole Kidman entered the room dressed in an embellished, sheer F/W 2013 Oscar de la Renta gown.

The stunning actress has been the “face of Ladymatic” since its international debut in 2010 and introduced the new global advertising campaign for the collection during the event.

Omega President Stephen Urquhart welcomed us together with actor Maximilian Simonischek who served as the evening’s master of ceremonies.

Following the three-course dinner, Nicole Kidman invited the guests to move back downstairs and to enjoy dessert.

Australian singer Shelley Harland performed her original songs, including “In the Dark”, the song selected by Omega as the soundtrack for the commercial.

And then my magic moment took place…

I met the amazing Nicole Kidman in person. She is absolutely adorable.

Today, I have spent a great day in Vienna. Shopping, sightseeing and a surprise, the only thing missing was the sun.

First, I went to Liska, a fabulous high fashion store, located in the heart of the Austrian city. Established in 2002, the shop carries brands such as Saint Laurent, Dior, Fendi and Valentino, as well as their own label, Liska by Thomas Kirchgrabner, the boutique’s USP is its range of furs. Then, I did some sightseeing and visited the famous Spanish Riding School (Spanische Hofreitschule)…

… and Vienna’s landmark, the St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom).

The best moment of today was when I saw Dave Gahan again. I have always been a huge fan of Depeche Mode and had met him in Frankfurt a few years ago. If you are interested in seeing the previous post, please click here.

This morning, I attended the Omega press conference in the presence of Nicole Kidman that I will show you very soon. It was freezing cold today in Vienna so that I didn’t feel like being outside for too long. In the afternoon, I took a “Fiaker”, a horse carriage, to the city’s iconic Sacher hotel to treat myself to the probably most famous chocolate cake in the world: Original Sacher-Torte.

Its story began in 1832, when it was created by a 16 year old apprentice in his second year, Franz Sacher, for Wenzel Clemens Prince Metternich, the chancellor of Austria. The head chef was ill and not able to fulfill the important order so that the teenaged Franz Sacher had to invent something on the spot. That was the day when the victorious career of the renowned Austrian dessert composition began…

The basis is a chocolate cake, thinly coated by hand with best-quality apricot jam. The chocolate icing on top of it is the crowning glory. You can order it online here.

This afternoon, I have arrived in Vienna. Omega invited me to their Ladymatic event and the La Nuit Enchantée (An Enchanting Night) which will take place tonight. Known for its captivating look, the iconic Ladymatic has been a prestigious example of the brand’s style and invention since its launch in 2010. During the weekend, the newest Ladymatic timepieces will be shown as well as the campaign featuring long-time ambassador Nicole Kidman who will be also present at the event tonight. Stay tuned as the exclusive video will be coming up here soon.

I am staying at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton and attached some photos of my spacious room. Upon my arrival, I had to have an Austrian apple strudel, so yummy!
