Today, I had an amazing day in NYC that was filled with so many outstanding impressions and special moments. One of them was meeting Carolyn Murphy, who has been the face of Estée Lauder for 15 consecutive years. The minute we spoke, it was a match made in heaven.
She is not only so beautiful from the outside but also from the inside. Before I tell you more about this special encounter, I would like you to get inspired by her extraordinary outfit.
Friday night, Tommy Hilfiger hosted an exclusive dinner during the Zurich Film Festival. The American designer had come to Switzerland with his wife Dee for this very special occasion along other celebrities such as Olivia Palermo with her husband Johannes Huebl, «Harry Potter» star Daniel Radcliffe, who premiered his new movie «Imperium» and Woody Harrelson, who was for «LBJ» in the Swiss metropole.
The location as Daniel Grieder, CEO Tommy Hilfiger, stated couldn’t have been a better match. The Razzia restaurant with its neoclassical architecture was Zurich’s first cinema in the 1920s.
After a lovely dinner, guests enjoyed live performances by Swiss music star Marc Sway and Dutch singer Glennis Grace. It was truly a great night and I danced until dawn.

The vivacity of late Mexican-American singer, Selena Quintanilla, lives on through the passion of her fans and her impact on Latin culture and beauty. The so-called «Mexican Madonna» got killed in 1995 by her former manager at the age of 23. Selena’s murder had a widespread impact. Major television networks interrupted their regular programming to break the news.
Inspired by the devotion of all those still touched by the iconic Latin legend. M·A·C Selena is a makeup collaboration tenderly curated with Selena’s sister. Selena not only taught us to move, she moved us—let’s keep that rhythm alive!

During the Zurich Film Festival, one of the biggest highlights is the exclusive dinner hosted by Tommy Hilfiger. Last year, the American designer himself welcomed the guests at Razziarestaurant and thanked his long-time CEODaniel Grieder on stage. Later, stars such as Johannes Huebl, Moritz Bleibtreu, and Elisa Sednaoui listened to the private concert by Marlon Roudette.
Playsuits and over-the-knee boots are definitely no longer for fashion victims only, they have become a must this season.
During the 12th Zurich Film Festival, JENNIFER CONNELLY, 45, showed up in a stunning dress on the green carpet for the premiere of «American Pastoral» with her colleague Ewan McGregor, who also directed this American crime-drama film.
Never missing a beat, Jennifer, who is renowned for being one of the classiest women in Hollywood, looked smashing in this one-piece custom leather and silk dress accented with a «Petite-Malle» clutch and sandals, all by Louis Vuitton. I especially adored her sleek-in-the-front, bouncy-in-the-back ponytail which added some class to this daring style.
One night before the screening, I had met the darling actress thanks to Asmallworld at the International Zurich Summit Dinner at restaurant Terrasse along with some of the most influental Hollywood producers, investors and agents.
What I love about H&M’s designer collaborations is that each of them really puts the emphasize on the brand’s identity and comes up with something unexpected. This week, the first campaign pictures of the upcoming KENZO x H&M collection were revealed starring seven globally celebrated personalities from fashion, music, arts and activism, with Suboi, Chance and Iman as the first ambassadors revealing the new pieces, all shot by no other than Jean-Paul Goude.

Even if his name doesn’t ring a bell, you probably know his work. After all, he is responsible for some of the most influential fashion and music imagery of the past five decades. His creative partnership with Grace Jones resulted in what is perhaps his most well-known legacy – more recently he was breaking the internet together with Kim Kardashian, as he shot her for her famous Paper Magazine cover (2014).

For the campaign, Goude has used his signature hand-made cut-up style, slicing and reassembling the prints to express the exuberance and character of the collection.

CHANCE THE RAPPER – Musician Chicago-based hip hop artist Chance the Rapper is one of the most celebrated rappers right now. His mixtape Coloring Book will undoubtedly make several ”Best of 2016” lists. Chance the Rapper has also worked with fellow Chicago artist Kanye West.
SUBOI – Musician Vietnamese rap queen Suboi first learned how to rap by listening to Eminem and Mos Def. She is one of Vietnam’s most successful hip hop artists, and also one of the first internationally successful female rappers to emerge from the country.
IMAN – Supermodel, activist and founder of Iman Cosmetics Somali-born Iman was discovered by photographer Peter Beard while she was still in university in Kenya. Only a year later she landed a Vogue shoot. Iman went on to become one of fashion history’s most influential models. In 1994, she founded Iman cosmetics. Iman is also celebrated for her charitable work in Somalia.
The full KENZO x H&M campaign will debut from October 17, starring the complete campaign cast with Rosario Dawson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chloë Sevigny and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.

On Wednesday, Taylor Swift was shaking it off in style when the famous singer headed out in NY in a bright yellow two-piece by Lovers + Friends combined with the new must-have Lady Bag from Miu Miu’s F/W 2016 collection. She is great in mixing designer pieces with affordable fashion items and this bag is truly a stunner.
Recently, I watched the new Mother’s Day movie. It is star-studded ensemble film (Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts just to name a few…) that follows three generations in the week leading up to this special celebration with all of them facing the ups and downs of motherhood. It is really an entertaining film that I can recommend.
One scene caught my eye specifically and that means in terms of fashion of course. Without giving away too much, it’s pretty much in the end when Julia Roberts, who plays also a grandma (Can you imagine? Time flies!) shows up in a stunning pink dress. With capes being so fashionable this season, this built-in version is absolutely divine.
