 Happy May 1st, my dear readers! Time flies and I cannot wait for summer to arrive and to wear my new season’s pieces. Unfortunately, its has still been a little chilly lately. This Altuzarra jacket, which I love, is very loyal to weather changes as you can carry it like a backpack! Smart dressing at its best!

 Last week’s outfit to have dinner with my girlfriends at Razzia restaurant in Zurich was the perfect example of how easy it is to change a look just with heels, a clutch and a great blazer. Philip Treacy created three dazzling headpieces that accentuated different parts of the face, including the eyes, cheekbones, and lips. From there, M∙A∙C Cosmetics produced a makeup collection that complemented the milliner’s designs.

TOMMY HILFIGER shared his travel tips for Capri with us. The charming American fashion designer who took the word «preppy» to new heights had come to Zurich for the film festival last fall. During an entertaining interview, he told me some interesting things about the island where he likes to spend his holidays in Europe.

Your favorite summer destination?
I love CAPRI. I like the ambiance of the Italians loving life, fashion, food, wine and excitement.

Your favourite hotel?
The GRAND HOTEL QUISISANA. It’s so central.

Wake up on a YACHT, have a little breakfast, take a little swim, relax with my children, make a little shopping tour and have dinner at a nice place in the center.

Your favourite shop?
RUSSO UOMO – this is where I shop for myself.
RUSSO DONNA – the best fashion in the world (even if they don’t sell Hilfiger), I go there for my wife and daughters. They sell their own brands and offer the highest quality of baby cashmere, suede, and leather.

A TIRAMISU and a LIMONCELLO after dinner. I eat pasta there every day which I wouldn’t do at home.

Last Wednesday, Trudie Götz and her team celebrated the opening of her two new concept stores, TROIS POMMES – THE STORE, one for women on Bahnhofstrasse 18 and one for men on Bahnhofstrasse 12 in Zurich. The new three-story shop for ladies is filled with everything a fashionista’s heart desires, the must-have pieces from well-known designers such as Givenchy, Saint Laurent and Peter Pilotto among others. For this special occasion, jewelry designer Harumi Klossowska and cashmere guru Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman had flown in to get to know their Zurich customers. Great concept, amazing interior, two thumbs up!
