The Top 20 Runway Trends for S/S 2025

Here are the most important S/S 2025 trends to wear now. From the surprisingly practical to the utterly fabulous, here’s how to update your wardrobe for the new season, that is defined by fluidity, lightness, and bold self-expression. Sheer layers, sculptural tailoring, and relaxed suiting dominate the runways, paired with soft metallics and sun-faded pastels. Craftsmanship takes center stage, with handwoven textures, and delicate embroidery weaving a story of authenticity. Sustainability and innovation intertwine, with designers embracing upcycled materials and futuristic fabrications, creating a fresh, conscious aesthetic for a new generation.

Have fun and enjoy this fashionable fun summer!

LoL, Sandra

A welcome clash. A shiny couture-like evening dress meets the timeless anorak. A perfect balance of sophistication and practicality.

A sorbet palette of baby pink, layette blue, aqua hues and of course the must-have summer color buttercup yellow sets the tone for airy and light silhouettes.

Plaid to be trending in spring is pretty…unusual. The print – which is defined as a checkered pattern with alternating stripes in different bands of colour – tends to dominate in the cooler seasons but was all over the catwalk for S/S 2025.

More romantic than ever, boho-chic is back with lashings of lace and, especially, ruffles that flutter with every movement.

Forget seeing double: The one-leg pants trend is making waves in fashion, featuring one fully covered leg and the other bare or minimally covered, blending bold asymmetry with edgy streetwear aesthetics.

It’s the Y2K trend that has been gaining traction for the last few seasons, and remains the easiest styling trick for bringing your wardrobe right up to date – layering up skirts or dresses over your trousers.

Across the catwalks, we saw pleated skirts dominate in shades of navy and grey, reminding us of our school uniforms, just with an elevated twist.

Balletcore is serving soft elegance—think pastels, wrap tops, tutus, and ballerina vibes all day.

When sport and wellness set the tone for everyday dress, designers take a couture turn, kicking off a new fashionable sport session.

From stripes to swimwear, get ready for a new TikTok fashion trend. This season, we’re dressing for a yacht girl summer.

The ladylike silhouette, with a rebellious twist. The true values of elegance are back in a revisited bougie version. In 2025, retro-chic means lavallière ties, pussy bows and polka dots.

Gender play in fashion challenges norms with fluid and oversized silhouettes, unexpected pairings, and a fearless mix of traditionally masculine and feminine styles.

Roaring prints evoke rebellion; it doesn’t matter wether it’s zebra or python effects, or pink flamingo prints, it’s all about embracing the total look and wearing it with confidence.

The versatile boiler suit is so easy to dress up or down and a must this summer.

Pop art by the photographer Greg Girard, celestial phenomena by the French artist Laurent Grasso, and Sandro Botticelli’s unmissable Portrait of Dante: When art slips into the wardrobe, a creative dialogue is sure to follow.

Fringing is always around in some form or another but this season, the detail was inescapable, seen in the collections of almost every major brand.

And yet here we are, talking about how trends that came to be over 100 years ago are still making waves and sending hearts aflutter a century later. The ’20s flapper girls are back!

When it comes getting a message across, T-shirts have the last word. A wardrobe staple.

A boudoir aesthetic (on acid) plays the card of conceal and reveal. An ostentatious take on iconic underwear staples takes sensuality to another level.

Romantic ruffles show big drama at night time.

My Look: Firenze

Stepping into the timeless elegance of the Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons Firenze, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect backdrop to showcase one of this season’s most vibrant trends: buttercup yellow. Bathed in natural light and surrounded by historic grandeur, my look captures the spirit of spring’s joyful energy. This buttercup yellow gown, a true statement of optimism and modern glamour, feels right at home in such a breathtaking setting.

My Look: Istanbul Memories

My thoughts are with all the people, especially my Turkish colleagues, in Istanbul, who are showing so much strength and hope during these difficult days. I was in the MY STYLE ROCKS studio filming another episode on Wednesday when the earthquake struck – a moment I will never forget. Over the past seven months, I’ve had the chance to get to know and truly appreciate the Turkish way of life – its warmth, spirit, and resilience. Today, I’m sharing this look as a tribute to the beautiful and strong city of Istanbul. The outfit is oversized – bold yet effortless, just like the unforgettable impressions this city has left on me.

Worn in Episode 19 of MY STYLE ROCKS Season 2.

My Look: Happy Tuesday

Happy Tuesday to everyone! I am on my way back to Istanbul to film more episodes of MY STYLE ROCKS.

Today’s outfit post shows the look I wore last week in Episode 39 of Season 2.

With this combination, I wanted to embody confidence, creativity, and a touch of bold elegance. This look is all about power dressing with a twist – a statement oversized suit paired with a signature turban. Effortlessly sharp, unapologetically expressive.

My look: Belted textured-wool blazericon, and matching Alina textured-wool wide-leg pantsicon, both by Victoria Beckham, VLogo leather-trimmed jacquard shoulder bagicon, and matching twisted floral-brocade headbandicon, both by Valentino, Jeanne embellished glossed-leather slingback pumpsicon by Saint Laurent, logo earrings by CHANEL, and statement ring by Roberto Cavalli.

My Look: Easter Weekend

A little tribute to Jonathan Anderson, who truly grasps something essential about fashion — the pure joy it sparks when it surprises us with something we never knew we needed, yet instantly love the moment we see it. «We have to start loving fashion again,» he once told Vogue. «We don’t know what tomorrow’s going to bring. So let’s enjoy it!» I couldn’t agree more.

Wishing you all a joyful Easter weekend — and dreaming of another beautiful escape to Clinique La Prairie sometime soon. Preferably, of course, in the most fashionable way possible.

My look: Appliquéd embroidered jacquard-knit wool cardiganicon, and matching printed high-rise wide-leg jeansicon, both by Loewe (S/S 2021), Falling Apart embroidered jersey bodysuit by Johanna Ortiz, black mesh ballerinas with strap by CHANEL, floral earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, Birkin 35 Togo orange by Hermès, and Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celine.

Jonathan Anderson Confirmed at Dior Homme

In a major shake-up in the fashion world, Jonathan Anderson, the creative force behind JW Anderson, has been named the new artistic director of Dior Homme. The move marks a significant shift both for the designer and for the French luxury house, as Anderson prepares to take the reins of one of menswear’s most prestigious brands.

Anderson, who has long been known for his boundary-pushing, gender-fluid designs, has spent the last decade building his namesake label into a critical darling and commercial success. He has also served as creative director at Loewe since 2013, where he’s been widely credited with revitalizing the Spanish luxury label with his distinctive artistic vision. To see why I had always been a huge fan of his designs for Loewe, click here please.

His appointment at Dior Homme signals a potential new direction for the brand, one that may blend Dior’s classic tailoring with Anderson’s more avant-garde, experimental approach. Dior Homme has traditionally been known for its sleek, structured silhouettes, most recently under the leadership of Kim Jones, whose streetwear influences brought a fresh energy to the house.

Preppy tailoring and relaxed sportswear converge in the Dior Men Fall 2025 lifestyle capsule by Kim Jones.

With Anderson stepping in, the fashion industry is buzzing with anticipation. Will he bring elements of his own label’s playfulness and subversive style to Dior? Or will he chart an entirely new course, merging the heritage of Dior with a more conceptual lens?

Dior hastily issued a one-line press release saying Anderson was working on its spring 2026 men’s collection, which would be presented on June 27 at 2:30 p.m. during Paris Fashion Week. It also distributed a new official portrait of Anderson by photographer David Sims

As the fashion world waits for his first collection, all eyes will be on Paris to see how Anderson reshapes the legacy of Dior Homme. Personally speaking, as a big fan of his work, I would have loved seeing him at Dior to do the womenswear but let’s see …

My Look: Neon Green

Neon green – loud, unapologetic, and totally on trend.
Wearing bold colors isn’t out of the ordinary for me, and this neon green look was made for the spotlight. It’s a shade that’s been dominating the runways and street style lately – energetic, confident, and impossible to ignore. Exactly the vibe I wanted to bring to the jury panel.

My Look: Minnie

For our MY STYLE ROCKSFictional Childhood Heroesepisode, I dove into the magic of Minnie Mouse – with a twist. I never buy costumes; instead, I love the challenge of creating looks from pieces I already own. This time, I transformed designer staples from my closet into a couture version of Minnie. A little imagination goes a long way – and fashion is the best playground.

Worn in MY STYLE ROCKS Season 2 Gala Episode 36.

My look: Dotted dress with bow and exaggerated shoulder details by Richard Quinn, Victoria Sponge resin clutchicon by JW Anderson, red crystal embellished pumps by Prada, hat by Gucci, red tights by Calzedonia, and Tribale earrings by Dior.
