My Look: Minnie

For our MY STYLE ROCKSFictional Childhood Heroesepisode, I dove into the magic of Minnie Mouse – with a twist. I never buy costumes; instead, I love the challenge of creating looks from pieces I already own. This time, I transformed designer staples from my closet into a couture version of Minnie. A little imagination goes a long way – and fashion is the best playground.

Worn in MY STYLE ROCKS Season 2 Gala Episode 36.

My look: Dotted dress with bow and exaggerated shoulder details by Richard Quinn, Victoria Sponge resin clutchicon by JW Anderson, red crystal embellished pumps by Prada, hat by Gucci, red tights by Calzedonia, and Tribale earrings by Dior.

These Minnie Mouse Heels Are To Die For

I love Disney connotations in fashion as seen at Marc Jacobs for example or Givenchy, but I truly adore a subtle way yet clearly referable form like those amazing Minnie Mouse inspired heels by Oscar Tiye. The label’s founders Amina Muaddi and Irina Curutz wanted to create the perfect shoe, “capable of expressing elegance and strength.”

The must-have sandals are punctuated with round appliqués at the back to resemble our favorite lady mouse. Made in Italy, each pair has a signature magenta lining and cushioned insole that ensures comfort. The cute heels come in different ways – good news is that most of them are now on sale.
