A splash of colour, a wave of iridescent light, a breath of fresh air, the joy of sunrays caressing one’s skin. From bright to pastel, a portfolio of Malibu sunrise yellows make up the Sunbathing collection, while Riviera blues embody the Morning Swim pieces. A place in the sun.

Beachwear prints, gradient Monogram, Damier motifs – Louis Vuitton icons play with colour. Going from day to night, sorbets to cocktails, the collection draws inspiration from fizzy red and parasol stripes, features raffia and embossed leather. Silk twill pyjamas, bobs, bag charms, small leather goods, a beach towel and sarong, sandals and sneakers – a burst of colour under the summer sun.

A sporty parka in gradient nylon, the brilliance of a sequined dress, a Capucines, NéoNoé and the multipocketed Papillon – twists on House classics brush the skin and awaken desires. Shine, dance, dream of an endless summer, feeling relaxed, fresh in carefree attire for summer 2021.
Available in all Louis Vuitton stores from March 19th.

I am such a summer girl and I am always sad when the cold season is knocking at the door. Especially as I love wearing sandals. The dainty, super statement sandal has reigned as one of the most popular shoes of the summer, as seen on celebrities and street style stars who embraced the eye-catching look. Great news is that this fall the transition is easy and it’s not time yet to leave your high heel sandals behind as there are so many beautiful options to get you through fall.

PRADA presents a new range of options for the Made to Order Women’s Shoe collection, a project dedicated to giving customers the opportunity to create a unique, custom-made shoe.
Eighteen models of pumps, slingbacks, ballet flats, boots and sandals with or without platforms and with eight different heel heights are available in a wide range of materials and shades.

The range of iconic Prada prints on a patent leather base has been expanded, with the Lipstick, Barocco and Roses as well as the new Dahlia flames and Mermaids flames patterns: Prada’s iconic prints from various seasons are mixed for a totally new and striking result.

The pumps and slingbacks can now be customized with a detachable poplin bow that comes in nine different prints.

After choosing the model, material and colour, customers can select the colour of the sole (black, phard or light blue) and add their initials, charms or numbers. As an alternative, it will be possible to add the same elements – but in leather – on the exclusive satin dust bag.

The customization continues beyond the product: the packaging for the shoes will match the style chosen so either the classic blue box embellished with an elastic band and metal plaque or one of the Prada prints. The shoes will be delivered eight weeks from order.

During the month of March PRADA is going to offer this service in Switzerland:
Zurich March 1 – 10, 2019
Lugano March 14 – 20, 2019
Geneva March 22 – 28, 2019

Summer is on its way and it’s set to be the most sensational yet. Today, I would like to spotlight the definitive trends, hot new designers and must-have pieces for your new season wardrobe.
Kick-start with a high-voltage dress by Diane von Furstenberg. Maxi lengths are a laid-back way to work shimmering sequins for day – finish with Musa‘s decorative sandals. After dark, look to master craftsman Vineet Bahl, the upcoming Indian designer. His beautifully embellished gowns are perfect for sultry nights.
Diane von Furstenberg
Next up, Diane von Furstenberg‘s
graphic summer collection ticks two trends in one – power prints and ladylike cuts. Whether you go for a demure knee-length dress or pair up your prints in a contrasting top and skirt, channel the runway girls and keep hair and makeup fuss free.
Christian Louboutin
When it comes to accessories, have fun and experiment. Do the bold shoulder with Christian Louboutin’s Artemis bag
– the editors’ favorite and this year’s must-have.

Victoria Beckham
And don’t forget to update your sunglasses. Victoria Beckham
‘s oversized frames will lend a fashion-forward edge to any outfit.

This season’s style rule for jewelry? More is more. Hervé van der Straeten
is the new need-to-know name. The Parisian jeweler’s sculptural gold cuffs are the perfect partner to neutral tailoring. Semi-precious stones also take a starring role: Rosantica’s lapis lazuli collar necklace
or Erickson Beamon’s colour-pop pieces
will instantly dress up a simple tee and blazer.

Dive into swimwear in the latest ready-to-wear one-piece – it’s not just for the beach! Be inspired by the Peter Pilotto runway and choose a sporty style for day, finished with a dramatic full skirt
and
heels.
Zimmermann
Or perfect your poolside pose in bloom-adorned swimsuit
by Australian label Zimmermann.

Tara Matthews
As the sun sets, switch effortlessly from pool to bar in Tara Matthews’ stylish cover-up, exclusive to NET-A-PORTER.
Paloma Barcelò
Complete the look with candy-striped wedges by Spanish shoe label Paloma Barcelò.

I love overalls and this gorgeous piece from the BOSS Black Pre-fall 2012 collection is absolutely divine. The cut and the pink colour are perfect together.
Overall “Demira” is available in selected Hugo Boss stores now for CHF 429.-.
The colour combination of bright pink and black is gorgeous. (For a previous post where I am wearing those two shades, click here).
Therefore I would combine the pink overall with those accessories below:

Suede shell clutch

Satin T-bar sandals by Alexander McQueen
A great outfit that works for all seasons!

Welcome to Ulus 29! The trendy restaurant with its bar and nightclub is an Istanbul classic. Located between the first and second Bosphorus bridges, overlooking the Anatolian side with one of the most beautiful Istanbul Strait views, it combines contemporary and traditional interiors. The menu is a mix of both as well, from a wide sashimi selection to mini pita, Turkish pizza and yoghurt kebab.

My makeup: Eyeshadow Palette in Baby Nu and Mascara Hypnôse Doll Eyes by Lancôme, New Lip Gloss in Buff by Bobbi Brown and Wanted Blush in 01 Glowing Peach by Helena Rubinstein.
On my finger nails: Pure Colour Nail Lacquer in Berry Hot, on my toes: Pure Colour Nail Lacquer in Purple Passion, both by Estée Lauder.

My outfit: Strapless Dress (with cut-outs at the back) and Sandals by Gucci (Resort 2011), Foldover Falabella Bag by Stella McCartney and Daisy Necklace by Christian Dior.

Giuseppe Zanotti with me
Giuseppe Zanotti’s S/S 2011 ad campaign makes me dream of sunny weather, the beach and the ocean. No wonder as a vacation getaway in St. Barts served as inspiration for it. Sensual and sizzling fashion model, Anja Rubik is the face of the gorgeous campaign that was photographed by iconic duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Ladies, better start getting in shape now…

All those beautiful shoes are already available or can be pre-ordered. Which one is your favourite?
