Opened in June 2020, CASA JONDAL has immediately become my favorite lunch place in Ibiza. When you arrive from the parking lot, it looks like a simple finca at first glance. But as soon as you enter inside and look to sea, or take a side look at the lounge area, you feel transported to a different and magical place.

CASA JONDAL, located in the middle of the eponymous beach, is considered the best restaurant on the island and is certainly one of the most exclusive. A winning combination of exceptional product quality and an excellent location that you can both enjoy while sitting on the beautiful, shady terrace under the twining savin juniper trees.

The food is amazing and it is the perfect location to enjoy lunch among dear friends as you can actually talk, because there is no music. I love the Caesar salad, the tomatoes with spring onions and the catch of the day. The absolute CASA JONDAL highlight on the dessert menu and culinary hard to beat is their cheesecake!

This summer season at CASA JONDAL is set in style with an exquisite Off-White™ takeover. Capturing the spirit of the iconic beach location, this limited-edition capsule collection embodies the carefree vibes of Ibiza while staying true to Off-White™’s visionary style. The House is pleased to announce the opening of the Gucci Cosmos exhibition in London. As a traveling exhibition, Gucci Cosmos transports the heritage and craftsmanship of the House around the world, opening the doors to the Archive in Florence and highlighting how storied pieces and emblems have woven their way throughout time. In 2024, Gucci Cosmos will travel to Paris and Kyoto, and feature dedicated narratives and elements that will resonate in a meaningful way with the distinctive culture of each city and its country.

Today, I would like to present you my BOBBI BROWN Skin Routine and show you how the multitasking formulas in the Vitamin Enriched Collection help you plump, prime, and perfect your skin for more beauty with less effort. For a previous post how to vitaminize your skin, click here please.

On my Instagram account, you will find a tutorial of me showing you the application process in detail.

Step 1: After your moisturizing ritual, you will apply the Vitamin Enriched Face Base as the last step before your actual makeup application. I personally love to let my skincare absorb well before continuing.

Step 2: The Vitamin Enriched Eye Base is best applied under the eye before your concealer. Don’t put it on your eyelids as your eyeshadow won’t last well. At night you can use it all around the eye to pamper this delicate skin.

Step 3: The Vitamin Enriched Skin Tint SPF 15 (for more coverage use the Skin Long Wear Weightless Foundation) is blended in with the Full Cover Face Brush by gently tapping the product into the skin in a stippling motion. Avoid any wiping or rubbing motions because that will only push the foundation around and cause streaks.

Step 4: Skin Corrector Stick in Light Bisque is applied under the eyes only on the dark circles, by dabbing it with the Full Cover Touch Up Brush.

Step 5: On top of it, add a thin layer of Skin Full Cover Concealer in Natural. Again, only dabbing no rubbing.

Step 6: Setting powder should be applied after you let the concealer «marinate» (sit) for 2-3 minutes best with the Eye Blender Brush. Once the excess product shows, you tap it in and fix it immediately with the powder. This helps to set your base makeup in place and keeps creasing away. In general the rule is for applying corrector and concealer: «less is more».

Step 7: For the final touch use bronzer, blush and highlighter from the Sculpt & Glow Palette to sculpt your face.

I love Rimowa‘s seasonal colors for their Essential collection. They are always limited and special. In addition, their glossy finish ensures, that the luggage is always easy to spot. This summer’s hues are inspired by cherry blossom trees and deep dark forests, called Petal, a delicate nude pink shade, and Cedar, a dark brown with a green undertone.

Munich-based architectural firm, Hilmer Sattler and London interior architectural design studio, Tara Bernerd & Partners worked in close collaboration to bring the spirit of Rosewood into the Bavarian metropolis. Their overarching objective was to bring the historic past of the legacy buildings into the modern world of today. To this end, the hotel is a contemporary interpretation of Baroque architecture; the sophisticated design blends seamlessly with the historical elements of the building to convey an expressly modern yet timeless Bavarian style.

The historic entrance hall of the hotel, which features impressive, vaulted ceilings and frescos, is original to the former bank building and has been carefully preserved. Purposeful lighting draws attention to the archival elements, with highlights including an ornate ceiling fresco. Juxtaposed with newly constructed doors and windows, the entrance exudes a stately yet contemporary feel. The central courtyard, which is a typical feature in Munich’s old town, has also been carefully restored, letting the building breathe while at the same time adding a completely new experience to the space.

The interior impresses with a mansion-like ambience. Furniture and carpeting merge history with modern influences, creating a sophisticated atmosphere for the ideal urban oasis.

ASAYA SPA
