The collection’s It-shade: I Believe in Manicures

The new limited edition Breakfast at Tiffany’s shades take their inspiration from Audrey’s classic beauty and sense of playfulness. Timeless reds and burgundies share the marquee with sophisticated, chic glitter shades. The collection also evokes the film’s most memorable fashions, including Holly’s sexy pink party frock, statement-­making little black dress, and elegant five-­strand pearl necklace. And the collection wouldn’t be complete without a signature shade aptly named I Believe in Manicures.

All Breakfast at Tiffany’s nail lacquer shades are also available in GelColor, for a salon-­perfect finish with two-­week wear. I Believe in Manicures – along with five additional shades in timeless hues of pearl, wine, burgundy, coral and dark purple -­ will also be available in OPI’s Infinite Shine No Light Gel Lacquer formula, part of a three-­step gel lacquer system that offers long wear, shine and ease of removal.

Bally has teamed up with French NGO, Soieries du Mékong, in a collaboration which calls upon the expertise of Cambodian silk weavers, to create 500 special edition silk scarves.

Soieries du Mékong, empowers women from some of the poorest rural areas of Cambodia by offering them sustainable employment and developing their hand-weaving knowledge and skill. Each silk scarf is individually handmade in Cambodia taking up to 40 hours to craft, with each strand individually measured and dyed before the weaving process, and then finished by hand.

The scarves will be available globally online from the beginning of November as well as in Bally retail stores within the US, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Milan, France, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Australia and Singapore.

Tom Ford goes green with the launch of four new scents (in Switzerland only three will be launched) in the designer’s sophisticated Private Blend Les Extraits Verts line.

Seventies style isn’t just trending down the runways this fall season, it’s also coming to your grooming cabinet. Those daring and intoxicating interpretations of perfumery’s classic ‘green‘ note are the perfect companions in rainy weather as they are reminiscent of beautiful spring days. All four of the chypre fragrances are unisex. Personally speaking, I like Vert Bohème and Vert de Fleur for women, the other two are definitely very masculine.

Vert d’Encens
Sophisticated, aromatic and wild, Vert d’Encens is inspired by the rugged Mediterranean coastlines of Corsica. Smoky incense, pine resin and fir balsam evoke the dense forest and rugged peaks, while delectable heliotrope and woods heighten the grand atmosphere of sea and shadow.

I still prefer roller skates best and always will. Therefore I am so in love with the ones Saint Laurent has launched this season. Yesterday, before the big launch party at Pier 36 in NYC, I went to the H&M Showroom on Fifth Avenue for the press conference where I was able to explore the Kenzo x H&M collection and to speak with amazing Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. The interview and the report from the party last night will be coming up shortly.

My look: Blouse by Chloé, pleated brocade mini skirt and tiger-embroidered leather shoulder bag, both by Kenzo, multi colored suede sandals by Yves Saint Laurent, mirrored sunglasses by Chanel and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Hello from NYC where I am for the launch event of Kenzo x H&M and I couldn’t be anymore excited about it. First of all, I truly love what I have seen so far and second of all, H&M throws the best parties for their designer collaborations.

A little surprise waiting in my room…

This time, I am staying at The Roxy Hotel Tribeca which is the partner hotel of the iconic Soho Grand that opened in September 2015. Walking into the lobby, the space feels a bit more like a movie theater than a typical hotel lobby, with brick walls and a huge restaurant setting the tone.

While you are reading this, I am on my way to NYC again for the launch party of Kenzo x H&M. October has been a crazy travel month so far and fighting jet lag takes a lot of discipline. Therefore I was extremely happy to spend the weekend at the Grand Resort Bag Ragaz where I could just relax and chill. I truly need this «time off» in between those crazy weeks. Here you see me in the park of the hotel on Sunday enjoying the beautiful autumn sun and being already in a «Kenzo» mood.

Each month, I could dedicate at least one post to M∙A∙C Cosmetics. Their collaborations get better and better. This one is definitely to die for as I am a huge fan of the late legendary photographer, Helmut Newton. Limited Edition celebrates the erotically charged and elegant work of this icon. A regular contributor to Vogue and Vanity Fair, Newton is known for his precise, glamorous and empowering photography of women.

This limited-edition color collection captures the photographer’s provocative, exquisite taste, dressing wine-stained lips in sultry rogue while darkening eyes in the black and white shades of his signature aesthetic.
